Hey guys!

Nat's POV

I quickly but carefully changed out of the hospital gown and into some clothes Alex brought for me. Dr. Brennan suggested I use a wheelchair to get out of the hospital but I convinced him to let me walk out with Rosalina's help. Jesse drove us home, and made sure we got to the apartment okay. This time we figured it would be best if I stayed on the couch, that way I wasn't stuck in my bedroom all day. Alex got all of the pillows from my bedroom and he and Rosalina arranged them on the couch for me, even though they really didn't have to.

"Okay so you heard Dr. Brennan," Rosalina said, sitting on the arm of the couch. "No walking unless absolutely necessary."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah," I said.

"I mean it." She kissed my head. "Do you want me to call the guys? Or do you want to wait until tomorrow?"

"I'll call them. Where's my phone?"

She picked up the backpack that Alex brought for me to the hospital and pulled my phone out of one of the pockets. She handed it to me.

I dialed Cooper's number.

"Nat? Are you okay? Where have you been? Rosalina called and said–"

"I'm fine, Coop. It's a really long story."

"I've got time."

"Can you and the guys come over? I'll explain it to you when we're all together."

"Okay…we'll be over in a little while."

I ended the call and dropped my phone onto the couch.

"So they're coming over?" Rosalina asked, looking at me.

I nodded. "They'll be over in a little bit."

"I think it'll be easier if you tell them the truth."

"Why do you think that?"

"They'll understand so much more, and this way you can talk to them about it anytime. And this will fix your guys' fight."

"Yeah, maybe…"

"Not maybe, it will."

"I don't know," Alex said, walking into the living room. "Nat and the guys haven't ever fought before."

I groaned.

"Relax," Rosalina said. "That's exactly why they're coming over so he can explain everything."

Just as she said this someone knocked on the door.

"I'll get it," She said, getting up and walking over to the door with Alex following close behind. I watched as she opened the door to reveal Cooper and the guys.

"Hey Rosalina," Cooper said. He looked at Alex who was standing behind her. "Hey Alex."

"Yeah, whatever."

Rosalina looked at Alex. "Alex."

"What? They didn't believe Nat before."

"Alex, be nice," I called to him from the couch.

He sighed but didn't say anymore.

"Come on in guys," Rosalina said as the guys all walked into the apartment.

When everyone was in the living room, Cooper started talking. "Look Nat, we're really, really, really sorry we didn't believe you–"

"Cooper we know you are," Alex spoke up again. "But what about David? And Qaasim? Or Thomas?"

"Alex, will you just–"

"No Nat," Thomas said. "He's right. I'm really, really sorry that I didn't believe you. I shouldn't have jumped to conclusions. I should've asked you first, like you said. I know you wouldn't ever do anything like that. I'm sorry."

"Yeah, me too," David said. "You're my best friend and I should've believed you. We all should have. And I'm sorry that we didn't."

"Yeah man, not talking to you even for a few days is horrible. We missed you, and Alex, and even Rosalina."

I glanced at Rosalina who was sitting with Alex on the edge of the couch and looked back at the guys.

"So…are we friends again?" David asked.

They all looked at me.

I smiled. "Of course we're friends again."

The guys all looked relieved.

"So what else did you have to talk to us about?" Cooper asked.

I looked at Rosalina who nodded at me, then I looked back at the guys. "There's something I've been keeping from you for a long time. And I shouldn't have, but I did. I never planned on telling anyone at all, but then Rosalina found out. Lots has happened since then and I think it's time that I come clean and tell you what's really going on…"

And I told them everything. I told them about my dad, and how he drank all the time, why I wouldn't let anyone come over, why I did the things that I did, the fact that the "fights" I got into were with my dad, my dad getting arrested, being in the hospital and the car accident.

The guys were sort of speechless. "Wow…I wouldn't have guessed your dad…." Cooper trailed off shaking his head.

"I'm sorry you had to go through that man, you too Alex," Qaasim said.

"Yeah, that's crazy," David agreed.

"Well no matter what we're always here for you dude," Thomas said.

"But wait," David spoke up again. "There's one thing I still don't get."

"What is it?" I asked.

"How did you and Rosalina start dating? Didn't you hate each other?"

"Remember that party that I went to a while ago? And then that Monday I had a bandage on my hand?"

The guys nodded.

"That's because I punched a guy in the face because he was kissing Rosalina."

All of the guys, even Alex looked shocked.

"Are you serious?" Thomas asked.

"He didn't just randomly punch the guy. I didn't want him to touch me let alone kiss me, so Nat stepped in and…yeah."

"But on that Monday you guys still hated each other," David said. "So what happened?"

"I didn't want to get close to Rosalina because I was afraid that if I dated her someone who wanted revenge on me would go after her. I mean we all know there are a bunch of people like that."

"But when Nat brought me here from the party, I sort of…fell for him."

"Well, I do have that charm on girls," I joked with a goofy grin on my face.

Alex rolled his eyes. "Yeah, okay," He said sarcastically.

"Wait, so what happened to your dad?" Thomas asked.

"He's…still in the hospital…" I never realized until now that I'd never asked how Dad was. Would I ever forgive him for everything he's put me through? Maybe not. But I mean…I don't know. I'm so confused. I should hate my dad, not care for him. Well, I don't really know if I care for him…I don't know how I should feel.
