I deeply from the bottom of my heart apologize for the lateness of this update. I planned on updating while I was on vacation, but sadly i had no wifi. So here it is!

And I'm beginning to lose motivation for this story, and as sad as that sounds, I have it all planned out until the end which is quite a while away. I just have to find the motivation to update regularly again. So, I'm sorry about that. And I will be updating Not Just Partners sometime tomorrow or the next day as well.

I love each of you so much you have no idea.

"I need your help." Deeks said as he was pulling Nell aside to talk.

"With what?" She replied.

"I'm going to propose to Kensi."

Nell squealed and Deeks rushed to cover her mouth.

"NELL!"

She quickly composed herself. "Why do you need my help?"

"Because you're smart, and I can't figure out how to get away from Kensi long enough to get everything ready."

"That is a dilemma. You guys are together pretty much 24/7."

"Yeah we are."

"I got it! We'll go shopping or something, then you can do whatever you need to."

"Why didn't I think of that?"

"My IQ trumps yours."

"Your IQ trumps everyone's, Nell. But don't tell anyone yet."

"Not even Eric?"

"Okay, you can tell Eric if you must. Thanks Nell." He gave her a quick hug and went back to work.

Nell practically ran to Ops to tell Eric. What she wasn't expecting was to run into Kensi on the way there. Literally.

"Woah. Nell."

"Sorry, Kens."

"Why are you running?"

"Just going to talk to Eric."

"Okay…"

She arrived at the Ops Center and approached her boyfriend. She spun his chair around and looked both ways to make sure no one else was listening.

"Nell what are you-"

"Deeks is going to propose to Kensi."

"No way."

She nodded her head.

"Hm. I always thought we'd get married first."

Nell raised an eyebrow at him, but didn't say anything.

"Wait. What I meant was. Well I don't really know what I meant."

"I know what you meant, Wolfram. Let's get back to work."

"Yeah. Work."

"Oh just by the way, I thought we would too."

"Hey, Kens?" Nell asked.

"What's up?"

"Do you want to go shopping with me this weekend? I need new clothes and I've decided to spare Eric the torture he thinks shopping is." Eric mouthed "yes!" and pumped his fists in the air.

"Yeah sure. I guess Deeks can keep himself alive for one afternoon."

"Hey! I kept myself alive for a long time before you came along, Princess." Deeks replied.

"You did, but I'm not entirely sure how."

Nell picked Kensi up at her apartment, and they went to the mall to shop for as long as Deeks needed Nell to keep Kensi occupied.

They pulled into the Beverly Center Shopping Mall parking lot.

"Where should we start?" Kensi asked.

"H&M?" Nell asked in reply.

"Sure why not." Kensi said.

So they walked around H&M for what seemed like hours to Kensi who wasn't really that into shopping.

Nell ended up buying a few dresses and enough cardigans to last a normal human years.

"Nell, Hurry up. I need to go to True Religion." Kensi said, putting her hands on her hips.

"Nope. Not allowed." Nell replied as she was checking out.

"What the hell are you talking about?"

"Deeks gave me strict orders to not let you buy any more jeans."

"I really am going to kill him one of these days."

"You love him and you know it. More than you've ever loved anyone else."

"Yeah, I guess you're right."

"Of course I am. Now that we've ruled out anywhere you can buy jeans, we need to hit Forever 21."

"Ha. No way."

"Yes way. What do you have against Forever 21?"

"Nothing, but we aren't sixteen years old."

Nell rolled her eyes.

"We're going. And no more sass from you, Missy."

Kensi didn't have the energy to protest further, really she was tired of shopping and wanted to be at home watching a movie with Deeks and Monty.

"Fine, but please just promise me you won't buy a crop top."

"I'm not making any promises."

After what seemed like another eternity, even to Nell, Deeks finally texted her that he was done planning his proposal to Kensi and they could come back.

The text read: "Ring, check. Awesome proposal plan that will totally get me laid, check. You can bring my love home now. I owe you one, Velma."

"No problem, Shaggy. Happy to help. J" She texted back.

Kensi caught Nell smiling at her phone. "Are you texting Eric?"

"No. We can go now. I think I'm done."

"Finally! Thank God."

Nell had spent entirely too much money shopping that day, but Kensi knew nothing about what the love of her life had planned.

Nell was driving Kensi home when Kensi suddenly screamed.

"Nell! I can't believe you!"

Nell nearly ran off the road, thinking Kensi had somehow figured out that she was helping Deeks plan her proposal.

"You actually bought a damn crop top!"
