Davos stands at the top of the tower, looking into the distance at the nearby arena with an archer standing next to him, "If you see him approaching, make sure you don't kill him," Davos tells him, "His death belongs to me." The archer remains silent and only bows. Inside the tower, Colleen and Misty remain in the dungeon and raise their heads when they hear the sound of echoing footsteps; several fully-armed Daughters walk past their cell in a single file march.
"Where are they going?," Misty asks.
"If I had to guess...," Colleen begins, "... war."
The Daughters of Crane Mother and a line of archers march in unison through the halls and then out the castle entrance, then they pass through the inner wall until they exit the main gate where they enter the city streets. They stomp unyieldingly toward the arena and the few citizens in the area flee in terror as they approach. Those in their temples and homes quickly close and lock their doors and windows. Danny runs down the street and quickly ducks behind a corner where he watches them walk past.
In the arena, the Immortal Weapons take out the remaining enemies: Tiger's Beautiful Daughter spins into the air and slams her foot down across the face of a Daughter, Dog Brother locks swords with another and gives her a headbutt, Fat Cobra zips around the arena floor and tosses several of them in the air as he moves in a blur, The Bride of Nine Spiders uses her long nails to slash one across the face, and the Green Mist of Death palm thrusts one in the stomach, creating a quick cloud that sends her into the air. Below, the Council move into the basement banquet hall. "Our champions should make short work of them soon," Lei Kung assures them.
A black gauntlet lines three arrows along a bow and slowly takes aim. The tower archer waits patiently as Danny Rand approaches the caslte at ground level. As he races to the tower, he looks up just in time to see the archer taking aim and leaps for cover, tucking and rolling along the ground as three arrows line up neatly behind him. He sprints toward the outer wall and flattens himself against it just as another arrow passes by. From there, he runs along the outside, leaps, and grasps the edge where he tumbles over the top and lands on his feet inside the courtyard, then makes a run for the entrance. Moments later, he turns a corner and sees two of Crane Mother's Daughters guarding the gate with long spears. The daughters spin their spears overhead and thrust them forward menacingly. Danny wastes no time and charges; in the next instant, the Daughters are smashed through the front doors and Danny quickly and quietly makes his way inside the tower.
In the arena, Bride of Nine Spiders leaps into the air and steps on the face of a Daughter, practically standing on her head. There's a quick snap and the Daughter drops to the ground. Two more race toward her and she shoves her palms out, sending strands of webs that stick to their chests, then she crosses her arms and the weblines yank the Daughters in either direction. A few Daughters throw small knives at Hua, who blocks them with her fan. She leaps and rolls, quickly making her way to them where she rises, closes her fans, and uses them as knives as she stabs her attackers. Dog Brother shoves his sword into the ground and pinwheels around the hilt, kicking several Daughters as he spins in a circle. A Daughter climbs onto the inner wall of the arena and leaps off in an attempt to stab Fat Cobra, but he spins, casually snatching her out of the air and sending her into the farthest wall. Green Mist passes through one Daughter as she raises a sword, snatches her by the back of her tunic, and slams her to the ground where he delivers a devistating punch.
"The arena is all clear," Fat Cobra announces.
"But I doubt the battle is over," Hua adds, "We need to find Davos and Crane Mother."
The two Daughters guarding Colleen and Misty's cell turn their attention to a figure entering the room and quickly rush off to fight. Inside the cell, Misty and Colleen hear a muffled struggle, then a second later, one of the guards is thrown against the metal bars of the door. They stand to their feet as they hear keys unlocking the door from the other side and Danny quickly enters the room with Colleen's sword and Misty's gun. "Danny!," Misty shouts thankfully. An Iron Fist-charged punch destroys their chains and they're free.
"I'm so sorry, Danny," she tells him, "This is all my fault. I got Orson killed and I got us captured. I know I don't belong here and I probably don't even belong in your life. I understand if -"
He cuts her off by kissing her passionately and when he's finished, he simply looks into her eyes and says, "I love you."
"I know," she says coyly.
"Star Wars again?"
"Yep."
"Guys?," Colleen begins with an annoyed expression, "We're kinda standing in a warzone at the moment."
"Sorry," Danny hands their weapons to them, "I found your weapons. I thought you two could use them."
"What's going on out there?," Misty asks.
"Looks like Crane Mother is trying to take out the other cities. I'll explain on the way."
Elsewhere, the army stomps through the city as citizens flee. A random dog perks its ears up as they continue and it quickly ducks back and hides. In the arena, the other Immortal Weapons gather together amidst piles of dead or unconscious Daughters. Dog Brother #1 perks up, much like the stray dog, and turns to his allies.
"The rest of Crane Mother's army is on the march and they're headed this way," he warns them.
"We won't be able to defend against an entire army," Hua responds, "Not in this arena. They'll eventually make their way to the basement and then to the Council."
"Then we'll head them off before they arrive," Green Mist adds.
"What are we waiting for?," Bride mumbles as she plays with the spider in her hand.
"Good question," Fat Cobra begins to make his way to the main gate, "This way. Don't worry brothers and sisters, I'll walk slowly."
Meanwhile, Danny, Colleen, and Misty rush down a flight of stairs and into a long hallway on the lower level where they stop dead in their tracks. Davos stands at the far side of the hall, blocking the main entrance. He smirks and clutches his one fist, "Daniel Rand-K'ai, are you leaving without saying goodbye?"
Danny turns to Colleen and Misty, "Do the two of you remember how to get out of here?"
"Yes," Colleen tells him.
"Then go... and be careful."
Misty kisses him and the two leave through a side door. Davos lets them go as he focuses on Danny and the two of them pace around one another.
"Ready for the next round, Daniel Rand-K'ai?"
"Are you ready? Because, as I recall, you died the last time we fought. You haven't been able to beat me since we left K'un L'un and you won't beat me now. You're a mad dog that needs to be put down and I'm stronger than you, so bring it."
Davos roars with anger and the two charge at one another.
