Sonic, Silver, and Shadow have somehow been transported to a world where most humans have their own powers. With the Emeralds scattered (again) at Solaris at large (somehow), the hedgehogs have to find a way to get the emeralds before The Sun destroys the fabric time itself.

After the War to Take Back the Planet, Team Sonic and company tried to have a relaxing day at the beach, until disaster struck. Infinite had fused with Solaris, and in a fit of rage flung the hedgehog and his friends to a world where the line between "hero" and "villain" is blurred every day. Of all the things Sonic expected to do in Tokyo today, Jet Racing wasn't one of them. Introduced to a new sport that is popular along the Kanda River, Leafa is dead set on trying it.
