Two days have passed and now they fell on a desperate situation. Every minute of the last couple of days has left Munakata struggling to stay conscious. Yet his body betrayed his attempt and he only managed to crack his eyes for 10 minutes approximately before going back to unconscious.
The combination team of HOMRA and Scepter 4 (lieutenant only though) grouped in the HOMRA's bar and base. Anxious filled the air as every second reminded them about the blue king's state.
"What should we do? He still hasn't come yet" Awashima said biting a little bit of her nail
"Don't worry, Seri-chan. I'm sure Mikoto can find it soon" said Izumo trying to make her calm a bit by patting her back for a bit.
"I don't know, Kusanagi-san. His body is getting worse" the brunette who took care of the blue king said
"If this continues, he won't be able to handle it anymore" he continued
Izumo brought out his cell phone
When he heard a click sound, he spoke to the other line
"Mikoto, his condition has worsen. If you didn't find the cure soon, it will be all over"
A grumble sound came and followed by another click sound
The bartender pushed the call end button and continued to observe Tatara and tried to calm the lieutenant
Another place…
A certain red-headed young man tsk-ed as he hung up his phone. He kicked the small pebbles across the street in anger…is it? Or upset? He didn't know for sure. But he was certain this quest eating him alive.
Some hours passed and Mikoto found that his cell phone rang again
He muttered some curses between his lips and the cancerous stick as he pushed the button
"What is it?" he asked with a hint of annoyed
"King! His pulse is getting weaker! I don't think he can wait any longer. It's better for you to come back"
"Damn!"
He turned his cell phone off and put it back to his pocket. And the next second, he sprinted back.
'Don't you dare die before me, Munakata!'
