"I told you. I'm a man of my word." Will replied as they got out of his car.

"Yeah, yeah." Sonny laughed at him. Sonny made fun of Will's car half way into the ride.

"Your car is really nice by the way." Sonny then stopped making fun of him.

"Thanks."

"So what are we checking out first?" They looked around at the numerous festivities that were going on.

"Let's try this one first." Will replied and pointed out to the one closest to them.

"Sure." They spent the whole day at the festival. Both enjoying the day and each other's company. They joked around as they went from booth to booth. And from one activity to the next. Some had a few prizes to be won, and one of them happened to be right in front of them.

"Hey Will, I bet I could win this one."

"Yeah right. I'd like to see you try." Will laughed. It wasn't funny anymore as Sonny won, twice.

"What was that about me losing again?" Sonny laughed.

"Oh shut up." Will made a face at him. Sonny held on to his prizes in one hand as he held his drink in the other.

"You want to sit down Sonny?"

"Yes. My feet are killing me."

"Good to know." They walked a little further away from the festival and sat on the grass that overlooked it all.

"So, what do you think?" Will asked after a moment of silence.

"I like it. It's fun. How long do these festivals usually last?"

"A week. I always used to come every year with my mom and my siblings." Will grew quiet once again. Even though they are good friends, Will never had the courage to ask him before to be his company at the festival. Not until now.

"You want to go to the Pub and get something to eat?" Sonny cleared his throat.

"Yes. I am actually starving." They got up and made the long walk towards Will's car. It was silent on the way back. About twenty mutes later, they were by the Square. They headed out and walked the short distance to the Pub. They ordered their regular, burger and fries along with a coke to wash it all down.

"I really enjoyed the festival today. I had a lot of fun." Sonny smiled.

"Me too." Will smiled back.

"We should do it again."

"Sounds good. So, do you work tomorrow?"

"I do. But it's a short shift. And I work all week next week."

"Shucks."

"I know. And I close for those shifts. How about you?" Sonny asked.

"I work tomorrow unfortunately. But I have a few days of next week."

"Well, lucky you." Sonny smiled with a short laugh.

"Well, I'm not going bragging or anything." Will put his head down.

"The perks of working with family huh?"

"Yeah." They were finished with their dinner and they left the Pub. They walked into the Square with silence between them. There was nothing really left for them to say.

"I had fun today." Sonny repeated once again.

"So did I." Will smiled.

"Will?"

"Yeah Sonny?" They were now standing face to face. Blue eyes staring into brown eyes. Sonny couldn't form any words when he looked into his eyes. His brain turned to mush when he was around him.

"Um, this is for you." He handed him the prize teddy bear that he won earlier.

"That's yours Sonny. You won that to prove a point." Will laughed.

"True. But I want to give it to you."

"Thanks Sonny." Will held on to it.

"You're welcome. I better get going, it's getting late."

"I didn't realize you had a curfew." Will laughed.

"I don't. But it is eleven." Sonny said as Will checked his watch.

"I didn't realize it was late."

"Me neither. See you later?"

"See you." Sonny went the opposite direction to his apartment. Will stood there for a minute realizing what just happened. He held on to the teddy bear that Sonny had just given to him. His cologne lingered on the stuffed animal. Will closed his eyes for a few minutes reliving the days events. He enjoyed Sonny's company a lot. Maybe, just maybe it might be possible for them to be more than just friends.
