Author's note
Yup we've got another story arc, this one will follow the last few released anime episodes. I am of course talking about the japanese dub.
Just so you guys know I do think X and Y is a major improvement from Black and White. But I can't stand the freakin english dub. The script is stupid, their voices sound nothing like I think they should, especially Ash's. Seriously why isn't he just voiced by a GUY.
The english sub however, is much better. The script is much better, and the voices actually sound right. Granted Ash is still voiced by a woman , he at leasts sounds like a boy. So yeah if you haven't watched X and Y with english subs you should.
Chapter 24: The secrets of Mega evolution part 1
"Seriously guys I can't keep running like this!" Clemont said as he tried to catch up with the others.
"Alright guys lets ease up on him" Red said. The group stopped running and allowed Clemont to catch up. Clemont tried to catch his breath while Bonnie shook her head.
"Clemont you're hopeless. How are you ever going to get a wife if girls see you like this" Bonnie said.
"Bonnie I" Clemont said.
"No , when we get to Geosenge town I'll need to look hard to find you a wife". Clemont's face turned red after hearing her say that.
"Come on Clemont, she's just trying to help you out" Red said laughing a little.
"So who's the Shalour city gym leader?" Ash said.
"I think her name is Korrina. I know she hasn't been a gym leader very long, and she uses fighting type pokemon" Clemont said.
"Fighting type, sweet I was hoping we'd get to face a real fighting type master" Ash said.
"Well I'm more than ready for her, Charizard and I have been training hard. In fact after our last training session he learned Steel wing" Red said.
"Steel wing, impressive" Ash said. Moments later Pikachu's ear started to twitch as he heard something behind them. He turned around just in time to see a young woman on a pair of roller blades fly off the ridge and over the group.
The group stopped as the girl landed and turned towards them. The girl looked about Ash and Red's age with very long and light blonde hair, that came out of a white and red helmet on her head. The girl wore a pink and white battle shirt with a skirt on the end. Her eyes were light grey.
"Um hello" Serena said with an almost freaked out expression on her face. The girl smiled as the group heard more running behind them. A Lucario sprinted between Ash and Red , then stopped beside the girl and turned towards the group.
"Hello, sorry to scare you like that. My name's Korrina" The girl said was a very excited expression on her face.
"Nice to meet you Korrina. I'm Red, this is my brother Ash, his girlfriend Serena, my friend Clemont, and his sister Bonnie".
"Pleasure to meet you Korrina" Clemont said.
"So are you guys pokemon trainers?" Korrina asked.
"We are, Red and I are competing in the Kalos league and Serena is competing in the Grand festival" Ash said.
"How exciting" Korrina said.
"That's a nice Lucario you have" Serena said.
"Thanks, Lucario was my first pokemon and is my closest friend" Korrina said. The Lucario smiled and nodded as she spoke.
"I have a Lucario too" Ash said.
"Really, can I see him!" Korrina said with a hint of excitment.
"Why not? Lucario come on out" Ash said letting his Lucario out. His Lucario saw Korrina's Lucario and walked over to him and said something to him. Korrina's Lucario nodded and said something back.
" Wait a minute, Korrina are you a gym leader?" Ash said.
"That's right I'm the Shalour city gym leader" She said with a sense of pride holding her arm into the air.
"Well she's certainly a confident trainer" Serena thought to herself. Bonnie's eyes were filled with stars as she watched Korrina.
"Wow you're really pretty and you're a gym leader!" Bonnie said before she ran over and got on one knee.
"Oh no Bonnie!" Clemont shouted.
"Korrina will you marry my friend Red!" Bonnie said as her cheeks turned pink. This caught the entire group by surprise , especially Red. His face had turned red as Clemont let out a breath of relief.
"Marry Red?" Korrina said sounding very confused.
"Bonnie what are you doing!?" Red screamed as he ran over to her.
Bonnie turned to Red.
"Red you're just as hopeless as my brother".
"What?" Red said.
"Look at yourself, your own little brother has gotten a girlfriend before you!", Ash and Serena laughed a little.
"Yeah , I got a girlfriend before you big bro" Ash said.
"We're twins!" Red shouted.
"But you came out first" Ash said as he put his hand on Red's shoulder. Pikachu, and the two Charizards laughed a little.
"I am good at matching people, and I can tell that you two would be a perfect match together!" Bonnie said as she pushed Korrina closer to Red and practically into his arms. Korrina's and Red's faces turned almost entirely red.
"Wow it's almost refreshing to see her do it to someone else" Clemont said. Red and Korrina backed away from each other as Red looked down at Bonnie.
"Bonnie you will never do that to me again!".
"No! I will keep this romance alive until you admit your feelings for her" Bonnie said. Red and Korrina sweatdropped as the two trainers' Lucarios laughed a little with Pikachu.
"So anyway if you're the gym leader of Shalour city gym, then what are you doing here?" Ash said.
"Well I was uh, just doing some training with Lucario. You know I am a young gym leader and I have to keep my skills sharp" Korrina said nervously as she held her right hand on her head. Ash and Red noticed a stone in her glove. The same stone that Felix had given them, and the ones Nair and Diantha had.
"Korrina where did you get that stone?" Ash said .
"Oh uh this, well you see I bought it at a jewelry store" She stared before Ash and Red took out their stones and showed them to her. Korrina and her Lucario's eyes widened as they saw the stones.
"Where did you get those!?" She said.
"They were given to us, by an Aura Guardian" Red said.
"Wait! You guys know about the Aura Guardians!".
"Yeah , we know about the Aura Guardians" Ash said.
"Oh good, I don't have to try and make up a story. The truth is I'm an Aura guardian in training!" Korrina said holding her arm up in confidence.
"You're an Aura Guardan in training?" Red said.
"Yes you see my grandfather is an Aura Guardian and" She stopped when the group heard a growl from her stomach.
"Uh, sorry I guess I'm just a bit hungry" She said holding her stomach. Moments later the rest of the groups' stomachs did the same.
"I guess we haven't had lunch yet" Ash said.
"Lunch sounds good" Bonnie said. 45 minutes later the group made a big lunch for themselves and their pokemon.
"Wow thanks for letting me eat with you" Korrina said.
"It's no problem" Red said. They had set up a table and some small chairs next to the table. When Korrina sat down Bonnie saw Red was going to sit next to Ash.
"No you don't!" she said before pushing him into the chair next to Korrina.
"If you two are going to be married someday then you have to sit next to each-other at lunch" Bonnie said. Korrina and Red started to blush again.
While the trainers sat down their pokemon had already started eating. Ash's Charizard tried to move closer to Braixen , until she saw him. She turned her head away and moved over towards Furfrou, giving Charizard the cold shoulder.
"Groww" Charizard said disappointed. Pikachu and Lucario came over to Charizard.
"Pika", "Graw" They said trying to reassure him.
"So uh, Korrina you said your Grandfather is an Aura guardian" Red said.
"Yeah he runs the Tower of Mastery for the Gaurdians and has been training me for years. He's the one who gave me Lucario and my Mega Evolution stone" Korrina said.
"Mega Evolution stone?" Ash said.
"You mean you don't know. These stones are called Mega Evolution stones, they're used to Mega Evolve a pokemon".
"Really!" Ash said excited.
"Yeah, I thought that the Aura guardian who gave them to you would have explained that" Korrina said.
"Yeah, Felix just told us we'd know what to do with them when we were ready" Red said.
"So how does it work exactly?" Clemont asked.
"Well you see Mega Evolution requires a few things. First of all a trainer must have a very high level of friendship with the pokemon. Secondly the trainer must have a Mega Evolution stone like these. Then the must contain their Evolution component" Korrina said.
"Evolution component?" Ash said.
"It's a stone different for different pokemon that they must hold to Mega Evolve" Korrina said.
"Wait a minute the other stones he gave us. Charizard come over here and show Korrina yours" Ash said. Charizard got up and walked over to them. He then extended his hand out and revealed a small orange stone with a red and yellow flame symbol in the center.
"That's Charizite Y!" Korrina said excited as she looked closer.
"Show her yours to Charizard" Red said. His charizard got up and walked over to Korrina and showed her a blue stone with a black and blue symbol in the center.
"That's Charizite X!".
"What's the difference?" Serena asked.
"You see with Charizard there are two different forms it evolves into, Mega Charizard X and Mega Charizard Y" Korrina said.
"I think Charizard Mega evolved earlier today when I got in a battle, but I'm not exactly sure how we did it" Ash said.
"Well my Grandpa always said that Mega evolution happens when in a battle, a high level of friendship, and when the trainer touches the stone. After the stone is touched it makes a link with the stone a pokemon holds. At that point the pokemon undergoes Mega Evolution " Korrina said.
"Amazing" Ash said.
"So Korrina seeing as every Aura Guardian we've met has used Mega evolution, I'm guessing it's something that all Aura Guardians can do" Red said.
"Every Aura Guardian is given a Mega Evolution stone when their training begins. After they complete their final training, they are sent out to find the right component stone for their pokemon. Once they Mega Evolve their pokemon , they are given wristblades and are made full members of the Aura Guardians".
"Is that what you're doing?" Bonnie asked.
"It is, my grandfather told me that the Mega evolution component I need for Lucario, aka Lucarionite, is located in Geosenge town. So Lucario and I are heading there so we can become full members of the Aura Guardians"Korrina said excited.
"All that training must have been really hard" Clemont said.
"Aura Guardian training is very hard, it starts at a very young age. My grandfather started training me when I was 5" Korrina said.
"Ash and I were trained by an Aura guardian when we were about 5" Red said. Korrina turned to Red looking a little confused.
"You were trained by an Aura guardian?".
"Yeah his name is Felix, he's the one who gave us our evolution stones" Red said.
"What did he train you in?" Korrina said.
" Things like climbing, running, training pokemon, using Aura, and hand to hand combat" Ash said.
"That does sound like the same things I was trained in" Korrina said.
"Does that mean you can beat people up like Ash and Red?" Bonnie said.
"Oh no, I can do it better than them" Korrina said.
"Better?" Red said raising his eyebrow.
"From what i've head, I've gotten more training than you two" Korrina said.
"I have never stopped practicing hand to hand combat. I pride myself in how skilled I am" Red said. Korrina smiled before grabbing Red's hand with hers and twisting it. Red's arm locked up and he fell into the table as he grunted.
"You were saying" Korrina said. Ash and the others laughed a little.
"I wasn't ready" Red grunted.
"How about we have a fair fight" Korrina said letting Red go.
"You're on" Red said.
"What? You two can't fight , you're going to get married" Bonnie said.
"Would you stop saying that!" Red shouted. Ash, Serena, Clemont, Bonnie, and all of the pokemon got in good positions to watch.
"Are you nervous, I mean he is about to fight a girl" Clemont said to Ash.
"Excuse me" Serena said giving an angry look at Clemont. Clemont's face turned red as he jerked back.
"What I meant was" He started before Serena grabbed the leg of his chair and flipped him over onto the ground. Ash and Pikachu both laughed as Clemont got up.
Red took off his jacket and shirt , only wearing a pair of black work out shorts. Korrina put on a pair of women's training shorts and a work out top. She put all of her hair into a long poneytail as she stepped up to face Red. At first she was a little mesmorized when she saw he was in very, very good shape. But she quickly regained herself as she got in a fighting stance.
"I hope you realize that fighting is my life. I'm not going to loose" Korrina said.
"We'll see" Red said. Korrina's Lucario was standing next to Red's Charizard and said something to him. Charizard growled something back.
"Alright begin" Ash said. Red quickly made a movement at Korrina before she grabbed his arm and pushed it against the joint, forcing him to the ground.
"Tsk , tsk, first mistake is that you" Korrina started before Red grunted and whipped his right leg back, catching Korrina's leg and knocking her to the ground. As Red turned around Korrina got right back up and grabbed Red by the arm and shoulder and forced him forward off balance.
Korrina acrobatically flipped herself over Red then locked her arm around his head from behind. Red struggled for a moment before grabbing Korrina's arms and flipping her over him. When Korrina landed she quickly kicked her feet into his abdominals, pushing him back a few inches.
As Korrina got up, she tried to whip her wrist at Red, at the same time she kicked her leg up high. Red quickly threw his forearm up blocking the strike from her forearm, but not her kick. He lurched back as Korrina came forward and locked her leg behind his. She then grabbed him by the shoulder and forced him backwards.
Red was able to catch himself with his other leg and force himself into Korrina , knocking her off balance. He then got a hold of her arm and used her own force against her, bringing Korrina to the ground.
Just before they hit the ground, Korrina forced herself forward ,pushing Red onto his back with Korrina right on top of him. She pushed her forearms into his elbows, locking them into the ground. Once Red was restrained Korrina smiled as she moved her face directly over his.
"I win".
"Alright , you beat me" Red said. Korrina got off Red then helped him up.
"I guess I underestimated you Korrina" Red said.
"You fight very well yourself, I think if we fought again you might win" She said.
"You see, you two go so well together!" Bonnie said as she ran over to them and put Korrina's hand in Red's. Red and Korrina's faces turned red.
"Well that was exciting, you guys want to finnish lunch now?" Serena said. Korrina and Red realized that they hadn't eaten much before their fight. They sweat dropped before walking back to the lunch table.
After finishing lunch the group started putting the table away.
"You know now that we know the stones we have can make our Charizards Mega Evolve, I really want to try it out in a battle" Red said.
"Yeah me too" Ash said .
"Well why not have your two Charizards battle with Mega Evolution" Korrina said.
"That sounds Awesome! Lets do it!" Ash said.
"Hell yeah!" Red said.
"Alright but first I have something for your Charizards" Korrina said as she reached into her backpack. She came out with two metal necklaces and two gloves similar to hers.
"The necklaces will allow your Charizards to hold onto their stones more easily, and the gloves will let you keep your stones on hand" Korrina said.
"Thanks Korrina" Red said. Ash and Red each gave their Charizard the necklace and put the Charizite in the center. After that they put their Mega Evolution stones in the gloves and put them on.
"You ready to Mega Evolve again Charizard?" Ash said. Charizard smiled as he roared unleashing a massive jet of fire.
"Are you ready to Mega Evolve Charizard" Red said. His Charizard did the same as Ash's.
"Alright I'll be the ref" Clemont said stepping to the side.
"This is going to be amazing!" Serena said.
"Trust me it will be, I've seen lots of Aura Guardians battle each other with their Mega Evolved pokemon" Korrina said.
"Begin!" Clemont said.
"Now touch the stones and connect with your pokemon" Korrina said.
"Here we go!" Ash said touching his Mega Evolution stone. Ash felt the same sensation he felt earlier that day when Charizard reached him in the water. A large colorful sphere formed around Charizard as he started to grow bigger.
Everyone was watching closely as Charizard Mega Evolved, especially Braixen. When the sphere vanished Charizard had been transformed into Mega Charizard Y.
"Groaww!" He roared.
"He's, Amazing!" Serena said as she saw Charizard in his Mega evolved form.
"PIka!" Pikachu said in equal excitement as he saw Charizard. All of Ash's other pokemon joined in the speechlessness as they saw Charizard Y.
"Braix!" Braixen said as her cheeks turned slightly red. Everyone started to notice that it became much hotter and dryer out since Charizard Mega evolved.
"Our turn!" Red said touching his Mega Evolution stone. The same colorful sphere formed around his Charizard. When it disappeared Red's Charizard had also Mega Evolved, but not the same way Ash's did. Red's Charizard's body and legs appeared more physically fit, though its arms remain thin. Its skin turned black with a sky blue underside from the lower jaw to the tip of the tail. Two spikes with blue tips curved upward from the front and back of each shoulder, while the tips of its horns sharpened, turned blue, and curved slightly upward. Its brow and claws were larger, its snout was shorter, and its eyes were now red with white pupils. It had two small, fin-like spikes under each horn and two more down its lower neck. The lower trims of its wings were divided into large, rounded points and each third joint is adorned with a claw-like spike. Mega Charizard X breathed blue flames out the sides of its mouth, and the flame on its tail burned blue with increased heat.
"Gruaww!" He roared.
"Incredible!" Clemont said with stars in his eyes.
"Dam, Charizard you look awesome!" Red said looking at his Charizard X. Charizard X also took a good look at himself and smiled.
"Show him what you can do Charizard. Fly into the air and use Flamethrower" Ash said. Charizard Y roared as he launched himself into the air with incredible speed.
"After him Charizard and use Flamethrower" Red said. Charizard X flew after him, but Charizard Y was faster. He got high enough into the air and blasted Charizard X with a colossal Flamethrower. Charizard X opened his mouth and unleashed his own Flamethrower of Blue flames.
When the two Flamethrowers met, Charizard Y's Flamethrower easily tore through Charizard X's and slammed into him. The blast hurled Charizard X into the ground.
"Pika!" Pikachu said in amazement after seeing Charizard Y's Flamethrower.
"Did you see that Flamethrower!" Serena said in disbelief.
"Charizard Y if gifted with incredible flying and Fire moves, while Charizard X is gifted with dragon and physical moves" Korrina said.
"Physical moves huh, alright Charizard Steel wing" Red said. His charizard got up and snarled as he flew towards Charizard Y with metal wings.
"Charizard keep your distance from him and use Flamethrower" Ash said. Charizard Y flew further away from Charizard X and blasted him with Flamethrower.
"Use your wings as a shield" Red said. Charizard X covered the front of his body with his wings as the fire hit him. While the Steel wing did keep the fire away from his body, its power still did damage to him.
"Come on Charizard hold on. Then use Dragon claws". Charizard snarled as he endured the pain until he was close enough to Charizard Y and slashed his now Violet claws against Charizard Y's chest. Charizard Y slammed into the ground after being hit with Dragon claw.
"Come on Charizard we can do this" Ash said as Charizard Y got up and roared at Charizard X.
"Charizard use Dragon claw!" Red said. Charizard X roared as he flew down at Charizard Y with his claws glowing violet.
"Charizard Air slash, but only knock him off balance you won't be able to overpower him with direct moves. Once he's off balance get behind him and use Dragon rage" Ash said.
Charizard flew off the ground with unbelievable speed, leaving the trainers and their pokemon awe inspired as they saw him fly. Charizard Y slashed Charizard X just enough across his shoulder and chest to knock him off balance, then quickly continued flying to avoid his Dragon claws. Once Charizard Y was behind Charizard X he opened his mouth and blasted him with a wave of Dragon energy.
However, when he unleashed the Dragon Rage Ash noticed that the attack seemed much larger and more powerful than usual. Charizard X was hurled forward more so than any Dragon rage would do.
"That's strange I've never seen Dragon rage work that well. Unless that's not Dragon rage" Ash opened his pokedex.
"Dragon Pulse : The target is attacked with a shock wave generated by the user's gaping mouth.".
"Awesome Charizard learned Dragon pulse".
The blast caught Charizard X's attention. He quickly turned to face Charizard Y.
"Flamethrower!" Ash said. Charizard Y opened his mouth and blasted Charizard X again , this time with a massive torrent of fire. Charizard X was hurled back a few feet as he tried to stay airborne.
"Alright we can't outfly him, and that Flamethrower is too powerful to beat with your Flamethrower. Plus he probably isn't going let the Steel wing shield work again. Wait I've got it. Charizard use Steel wing" Red said. Charizard X turned his wings metal before flying towards Charizard Y.
"Charizard fly underneath him and use Flamethrower" Ash said. Charizard Y quickly flew underneath Charizard X and prepared to blast him in the stomach , where his wings couldn't protect him.
"Just what I wanted him to do, Charizard fly straight down and Dragon claw!" Charizard X flew straight down at Charizard Y , slashing him across the face before he could unleash Flamethrower.
"Now use Steel wing!" Red shouted. Before Charizard Y could recover from the Dragon claw his was smashed in the face with both of Charizard X's wings. Ash and Pikachu watched nervously as Charizard Y took the beating.
"Braix" Braix said nervously.
"Now finnish him with Dragon claw".
"Charizard Inferno!" , "Pika Pikachu!". As Charizard X brought his arms back, Charizard Y's tail flame turned massive. He opened his mouth and engulfed Charizard X in a tsunami of fire.
"Charizard!" Red shouted. Charizard was plowed into the ground and struggled to get back up.
"Don't give up Charizard, you can still fight!" Korrina said.
"Hey you're rooting for Red! You really do love him like I said!" Bonnie said. Korrina's face turned red with embarrassment. All of the pokemon were watching with great excitement as the two Mega Charizards battled each other. Ash's Lucario was very envious of the two Charizards. He wanted to experience Mega Evolution too.
"Groww" Korrina's Lucario said to Ash's Lucario. Ash's Lucario turned to Korrina's Lucario.
"Groww, Gro, Groww" He said. Korrina's Lucario said that he could tell that Ash's Lucario wanted to Mega evolve, and that he too had longed to undergo Mega evolution.
"Groww, Gro, Gro" Ash's Lucario said back. When Charizard X got up he was breathing deeply , very tired. Up in the air Charizard Y was just as fatigued as his opponent.
"We need to end this now, Charizard use Steel wing into Dragon claw!" Red shouted.
"Charizard use Inferno!" Ash shouted. The Charizard Y roared as his tail flame grew larger and he unleashed another ocean of fire. Charizard X grit his teeth as he flew straight through the Inferno with his metal wings held in front and his violet claws held close to his chest.
Despite all of the power behind Inferno, Charizard came out of it roaring with his claws and wings ready. He slammed his metal wings into Charizard Y then slashed him across the face with his claws. After the confruntation, Charizard X and Charizard Y both fell backwards towards the ground.
"Charizard!" Ash and Red shouted. The two Charizards hit the ground and reverted back to their normal forms. Ash and Red both ran to their Charizard and tried to help them up. Even Braixen ran over to Ash's Charizard sounding concerned.
"Charizard are you ok?" , "Pika pikachu". Ash's Charizard opened his mouth and smiled despite his battle injuries.
"Braix" Braixen said as she approached Charizard looking concerned. Charizard turned his head and saw Braixen standing over him. He gave a bigger smile when he saw her. Ash's other pokemon came over to Charizard to congratulate him on Mega Evolving.
On the other side Red and his pokemon were helping his Charizard up. Korrina walked over to Red and his with her Lucario.
"Is he ok?" Korrina said. His Charizard raised his head with much optimism despite his injuries.
"I guess he's still excited from Mega evolving" Red said.
"I can understand, Lucario has wanted to Mega evolve for a long time" Korrina said. Serena walked over to Ash and his Charizard as he and his Lucario helped Charizard get back onto his feet.
"How's he doing?" She asked.
"He's alright, in fact he's still pretty excited about Mega Evolving again" Ash said. Charizard gave a happy growl as he got up.
"That was one of the most exciting battles I've ever seen" Clemont said.
"Your Charizards were amazing" Serena said . Red took out a pair of super potions and sprayed one on his Charizard, then walked over and gave Ash the other one.
"So Korrina you said that you're heading to Geosenge town to look for Lucarionite" Ash said as he sprayed his Charizard.
"That's right" Korrina said.
"Well would you mind if we tagged alone, I wouldn't mind finding some Lucarionite for my Lucario" Ash said. Upon hearing this, Ash's Lucario almost shot his head over to Ash. He sprinted over to them and nodded , agreeing with Ash.
"Sure that sounds great, you guys are awesome" Korrina said .
"Alright I guess we're sticking together" Red said.
"Yes you are!" Bonnie said grabbing Red's hand and putting it into Korrina's. They quickly moved their hands away from each other as their faces turned red.
"Bonnie would you stop doing that!" Red shouted.
"Trust me Red, you can ask and beg her all you want. It won't stop her" Clemont said.
"Alright lets get moving then" Ash said.
"I'll race you there!" Korrina said as she put on her skates and went forward with her Lucario sprinting beside her. Red and Ash were close behind her with Serena and the pokemon. Bonnie ran forward shouting back to Clemont.
"Hurry up brother you're falling behind!".
"Why me" Clemont shouted as he tried to catch up.
Elsewhere in a hidden temple, an Aura Guardian entered a large chamber where another Aura guardian was waiting for him.
"Chairon you wanted to see me". The older Aura guardian turned to the one who just entered the room.
"Felix what were you thinking?" Chairon said.
"I don't understand" Felix said.
"Benedict found out what you did. How could you give those boys Mega Evolution stones!" Chairon shouted.
"Chairon I, I, I don't know. I always intended on them to be Aura Guardians. I trained them since they were five" Felix said.
"They didn't complete their full training" Chairon said.
"Are you saying that only us Aura Guardians have the right to use Mega Evolution" Felix said.
"No it's just, dam it Felix" Chairon said.
"I think I have an idea that might satisfy us both. What if I met them and completed their training" Felix said.
"You can't be serious" Chairon said.
"Why not, many of the finest Aura Guardians were trained while traveling. Besides they only require a year or so more of training. I trained with them every year since they were five until last year. With the final year of training they would become Aura Guardians just about the same time most new Guardians do" Felix said.
"Alright since you've already invested seven years of training with them , why not. Benedict said they were heading towards Shalour city" Chairon said.
"Good I'll meet up with Gurkinn" Felix said. He turned and was about to leave when Chairon said one final thing.
"Felix, if you are going to train them then you should at least tell them the truth". Felix sighed and walked out of the room.
I want to make one thing clear, I did not decide to end the idea of Red and Shauna because of the new Shipping idea introduced in this chapter. I stand by what I said in the other chapter about wanting Shauna to be more than just some love interest.
Truthfully after I decided to bail out on Red and Shauna my original idea was to pair Red with Jessica from X and Y episode 8. Yeah I did. That was until I saw episode 30 of the anime and was surprised there were no moments of Serena getting jealous of Korrina and Ash. That is when I started to think about the idea of Red and Korrina. I also started to think about the running joke of Bonnie asking girls to marry Clemont and what she would do if Red really were in the group. Would she do the same for him.
So yeah the next few chapters will loosely follow the last few episodes of the anime except it will focus more on Ash and his Lucario. Argo what the anime should have done. I can tell you know there will be no Mega Lucario freak outs where he goes crazy. Sorry but I already played that card with Charizard it would be repetitive to do it again so soon.
Also as of right now Dragon pulse has replaced Dragon rage so Ash's Charizard only has like 5 moves 5. I don't want to hear freak outs over that.
