Daiyousei made full use of the loophole. Fairies were not allowed in the human village without being kept watch over; otherwise they cause havoc with pranks and fights. However; Daiyousei was no longer technically a fairy; indeed; no-one would suspect someone who looked fifteen or sixteen of being a fairy.

It took a while; but near the village outskirts; Daiyousei found a somewhat old-looking building; with a sign next to it; saying 'Suzunaan'.

"I guess this is the place Patchouli told me to go..." Daiyousei said; before someone approached behind her.

"Why; hello; fairy-that-is-not-a-fairy." a young female voice said. Daiyousei turned around upon being addressed in such an odd manner; and a woman that everyone in Gensokyo knew was behind her. After all; the woman had technically existed for as long as Gensokyo itself.

"Akyuu; isn't it?" Daiyousei asked the woman with purple hair; dressed in a very traditional manner.

"Yes. Hieda no Akyuu. I am curious as to what would bring a fairy to Suzunaan. I myself need to go there to store some scrolls of the Gensokyo Chronicles I have written."

Daiyousei's face suddenly lit up; as she recalled Akyuu had flawless memory of everything that had happened to her knowledge in Gensokyo.

"Do you know anything about a God of the Fairies; Akyuu?" Daiyousei asked.

The young woman looked taken aback for a moment, before she seemed in thought.

"Such a thing was mentioned as whisperings about 800 years ago; by the fairies of Gensokyo at that time. Perhaps they still recalled back then. But aside from the occasional fairy talking about it 800 or more years ago; I cannot recall anything." Akyuu said. "This is more in the realm of myths and legends, and I daresay you are in the right place. Maybe I can convince Kosuzu to let you see her personal collection if you cannot find what you are looking for."

The pair entered the library. Daiyousei instantly noticed it was not bigger on the inside like Voile; but felt impressed none the less. The books were ordered and organised; and the shelves were full to the brims. There seemed to be a back room; as well as a section covered by a curtain; which Akyu headed to.

A young redhead looked up from the book she was reading; taking off her glasses. Her eyes; oddly for a human; were red. She wore a slightly-too-wide checkered kimono; with an apron over it; which had both the name 'Kosuzu' and 'Suzunaan' on it; which Daiyousei guessed; from Mystia talking about her restaurant; was some kind of work uniform.

"Oh my; Akyuu; I didn't notice you came in!" Kosuzu said in a merry tone.

"I need to add some scrolls to the chronicles. Can you help the fairy behind me find books about legends of gods? She seems driven to find something that even I am not knowledgeable about. I must admit; I myself am interested in this 'Fairy God' now." Akyuu said; before she went behind the curtain.

Kosuzu got up; and wandered over to a shelf; as if she knew the place by the back of her hand, and picked out a few books; flicking through them quickly.

"Legends about the Fae... Excalibur... ah; there is something about a 'leader' of the fairies in what is considered a great work of the outside world!" Kosuzu said; pulling out a book; which the binder said; in old English letters 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'.

The girl opened the book to a few pages; putting her finger as a bookmark; before letting Daiyousei read the highlighted parts.

"This is only a play; so I am unsure how much of it is based in truth and how much of it is just the wild imagination of this 'Shakespeare' man." Kosuzu said. "It's also not a 'God' but a 'Queen'."

Daiyousei read the extracts Kosuzu highlighted swiftly; for she had gained the ability to read almost as swiftly as her mentor.

"There does seem to be some relevance in her personality; especially her worry about the natural order. After all; fairies are highly attuned to nature." Daiyousei said; before she chuckled; "Although I doubt she vanished out of embarrassment for a spell cast on her to love a donkey; and I've heard nothing of there being two gods."

"Well; aside from this; I have nothing that would be use on this topic..." Kosuzu said.

"Are you sure?" Akyuu asked; coming out from behind the certain. "Not even in your personal collection?"

"Akyuu; keep it down! It's a secret!" Kosuzu said.

"What is so secret about this collection?" Daiyousei asked.

"This fairy is not like others. She is highly intelligent. You can trust her." Akyuu said. "I vouch for her."

Kosuzu pouted; before she huffed. "I collect Demon Books. Ancient books that slipped through the dimensions; or were written by ancient youkai. I am gifted with the ability to read and understand any language of a book I touch; you see. As such; I am the only one in Gensokyo who can read these books. Many of the books are dangerous to those who cannot understand them. My personal favorite of those ones is a copy of the Necrono..."

"Kosuzu; you're going off-topic." Akyuu said. "And she doesn't need to know about that one; I am fairly sure. The god is of this world."

"Yes; yes. Well; there are a few ancient books about worship that youkai wrote. I don't recall these books as well as the others; give me a moment."

Kosuzu walked off; into the back room. Daiyousei felt an un-natural energy; faint; but there; in that room. She put it down to the fact that Kosuzu said that some of the books were from entirely different dimensions. She then wondered if Kosuzu had any books from Makai.

The door closed. About ten minutes later; Kosuzu came back out.

"There is a legend. One legend." Kosuzu said. "I was looking in the wrong place. This 'God of the Fairies' is more than just a 'God of the Fairies'. She is Mother Nature herself." Kosuzu said. "She has many names; Gaia; Titania; Mother Nature. Even within the same faith there would be multiple names for different aspects of this god."

"That... makes sense. If Fairies are so attuned to nature; that they were created by Mother Nature herself." Daiyousei said.

"Well; Titania; as I shall call her; is one of the 'Elder Gods'. One of the first gods to exist; and one of the strongest. However; as people broke down her aspects into different gods; her faith began to wane. So she created the fairies. However; this wasn't enough. She grew frustrated about faith; while growing angry at how humans were abusing nature."

"Oh my; so; Titania was both staving for faith; and angered?" Akyuu commented.

"Yes." Kosuzu said. "So; using her great power; she created natural disasters as penance on mankind. She turned from faith to a darker source of power; fear. But the energy of fear is that of daemons; not gods; and Titania became more and more deranged; until she attempted to wipe out humanity itself. The other Gods teamed up to stop her; yet her power was great enough that several fell before she was finally subdued. Yet she did not die. She sealed herself within a young youkai; only a few years old; with a strong connection to nature; waiting for the day she could arise again. The legends say this happened over 10,000 years ago."

Daiyousei sighed.

"The dream; it makes sense. The fire; the screams; the fairies being attacked the fleeing in terror... it was her. She would attack her own creations for power now."

"Yes; that is likely the case. A God as depraved as Titania was said to have become before she was defeated would do anything for power. I fear for the life that youkai must have had; with a slumbering god within her; no doubt driving her onto evils herself; to create enough fear to keep her alive; albeit; in slumber." Kosuzu said.

"Well then... I've got to go. I need to speak with some fairies I know. They're attempting to resurrect Titania; and if they do that... we're all in trouble!" Daiyousei said; before she thanked Kosuzu and Akyuu; and flew out.

Kosuzu looked at Akyuu.

"Do you think I should have mentioned my theory?" she said.

"What theory?" Akyuu asked.

"I think I have an idea... who Titania is sealed inside. After all; if that youkai is still alive... she would be in Gensokyo. And I can only think of one youkai who fits all of the boxes."

Akyuu's face fell.

"By the Dragon... if that's only someone under the influence of Titania's madness... just how bad would the real thing be?" Akyuu said; fear across her face. "We have to tell Keine. Even the slightest chance this is true has to be made known to her."
