"Now; where was it around here that Sunny and the other two lived?" Daiyousei asked herself; flying around the forests surrounding Reimu's shrine.
She had tried to tell Reimu what she had found out; but the miko just acted as if it was no big deal; just a fairy trying to prank her. She hadn't expected much else.
It took the fairy a while to find the large; hollow tree that was not too far from Reimu's shrine. This hollow tree was the home of the three fairies; Sunny; Luna and Star.
"Guys; are you here? I want to talk with you!" Daiyousei called.
"Sunny; what do we do?" Luna's voice said.
"Tell her we're not here of course!" Sunny said.
"Luna; you are making it so she can't hear us discussing this; right?" Star's voice said.
"That would be silly Star. How am I supposed to tell her we're not here if she can't hear?" Luna said; before she shouted We're not here!"
Daiyousei just facepalmed. She had forgotten that Cirno was actually pretty smart for a fairy; even if that was stupid by everyone else's standards. Cirno looked like a genius compared to nameless fairies; and these three had their moments where they rivaled Cirno... on both ends of the intelligence scale.
"Guys; telling me you're not here just tells me you're there. I'm not dumb enough to fall for that trick." Daiyousei said.
"Aw; that usually works!" Sunny's voice said.
"What now? I don't wanna be bothered right now..." Luna said.
"We're busy planning lke she told us to!" Star muttered.
"I got an idea!" Sunny said. "No-one's here!" she shouted.
At this point; Daiyousei's patience was gone; and she flew up to the hole in the tree; about halfway up, and peeked in; looking down at the three fairies sitting at the bottom of the tree's hollow inside.
"Guys; it's me. You're not gonna trick me. Now are you gonna come out and speak with me; or are you going to make my patience even thinner?" Daiyousei asked; a sweet look on her face; but a vein visible on her temple.
"Only if it's the terms of yours and Cirno's surrender!" Sunny said proudly. "Besides; didn't we trick you into fighting Cirno that one time?"
Dai pointed a finger down the hollow; and formed a small sphere of fire at the end of it.
"I recall you burnt down Cirno's house back then too. Would you like me to return the favor; seeing as you think that's fair in war?" Daiyousei said in an eerily kind manner; her temper snapped.
The three fairies muttered to each other.
"Fine; fine; we'll come out and talk." Sunny said; the other two following her; as Daiyousei pulled out of the tree's exit.
"So; what do ya' want to talk about then?" Sunny said; hands on her hips; puffing herself out as much as possible to make herself look intimidating; but failing miserably.
"I found out some things about the fairy god you're trying to wake up." Daiyousei said.
"Ah? So you're gonna come over to our side now you know about Titania?" Star asked hopefully.
"Just the opposite!" Daiyousei said. "I don't know how you found out about a legend over 10,000 years old; but your information is incomplete! Titania became evil! She made the fairies fear her to give her power; while she tried to KILL all of humanity! I'm sure you don't want to kill all humans; right?"
"We don't really care. How long have humans and youkai been bullying us?" Luna said.
"Besides; how do we know ya' telling the truth? For all we know you just don't want us to take over!" Sunny said.
"Fine then; if words will not reach you... then I'll just have to stop you!" Daiyousei said. "I can't risk you bringing back a monster like her!"
Daiyousei put her hands together; and began to glow; channeling far more elemental magic than she could before; with greater ease. The wind started to shift; forming a spiraling ring around the four fairies.
"I wasn't able to use the same elemental configuration as Patchouli; specifically the Metal Elemental... so I made my own magical style; the four elements! Wind Elemental: Sylph's Dance!"
From the spiraling air around the fairies; the winds started to divert; a multi-directional assult of slicing air; wrapping around Daiyousei to head to Sunny; Luna and Star.
Suddenly; however; Daiyousei felt a sharp pain through her chest; and the spell broke.
"Oh my; I can't have you doing that." a voice said.
"General!" the three fairies said together.
Daiyousei's vision was blurring; and she noticed what seemed like an arrow of energy through her chest. She was clearly dying, but turned around.
'If that wasn't a sneak attack I could have strengthened my body with the Earth Element to take that...' she thought to herself in an annoyed fashion, as she turned.
Siting on the branch of a tree was a fairy dressed in a black dress with a red bow, which came down to just above her knees. Her hair was short and black; curled around her ears like two crescent moons. Her eyes were red, and she held a small shortbow. She wore small red shoes. Her wings were shaped oddly for a fairy; one was curled slightly up; while the other was curled slightly down. Fairy wings were usually symmetrical. They were also purple.
"Who... are you?" Daiyousei asked.
"Me? I'm just a fairy without a name; who knows of the legends of old. I guess if you really must name me; since I seem to be the only one who was aware of Titania; you should call me Oberon; even if it's a male's name." the fairy in black said. "I must admit I am impressed; I didn't think you would be able to create an attack like that. I fear how those three would have been able to handle an flexible area-attack like that. They're good at evading things like Cirno's simple brute-force attacks; but yours... are not brute force."
Daiyousei chuckled.
"Do you know what you are doing then; if you know Titania?" she asked.
"I know exactly what I am doing; Sprite." the fairy said. "I know the same legends as you do now. Humanity deserves it for what they have done to us."
"Fool..." Daiyousei said; before she fell to the ground, and dissipated into cloud of green dust and glitter; magical energy.
Daiyousei woke up at the Misty Lake; with Cirno floating over her; as well as; oddly; Lilly White.
"Not often you die Dai!" Cirno said. "What happened?"
Daiyousei shook her head; clearing it.
"We need to get everyone we can to help us. We can't let Sunny and the others succeed. If they do; humanity will be wiped out. They don't even realise how bad what they are doing is; they're being used by someone far smarter." Daiyousei said.
"I went and got Lilly already!" Cirno said. "I explained what was happening to some sky fairies and she agreed to come and help!"
"I too am aware of some of the legends about this 'god'." Lilly said. "I am aware that fairies choose to carry sunflowers since they were the favorite flower of Titania. However; as Spring must leave sometimes; if Titania is no longer around; that is what must be accepted, in my opinion."
"Also Star and the others came by and tried to attack while you were out." Cirno said. "Except this time they said they were gonna free the fairies in the mansion as well! They're gonna attack the Scarlet Mansion too!"
"Are they idiots? You could throw a million fairies at Remilia and they wouldn't scratch her." Daiyousei said.
"Actually; Sunny's manipulation of light would make her able to fight Miss Scarlet; who; as a vampire; is greatly weakened and harmed by exposure to sunlight." Lilly said."It is not as foolish as it may seem."
"And I'm sure with that black fairy commanding them that's exactly what they plan to do..." Daiyousei said.
"So... what are we gonna do Dai?" Cirno asked.
"I'll tell China to spread the word in the mansion. We'll get Mystia and the others to help out too... then... we just hope we can stop their sheer numbers." Daiyousei said.
