Krystina quickly walked down the halls. She just wanted to get away from the two guys. She cursed herself for being so rash when it came to her decisions. She just blurted out the next thing that came to her mind which was not only dumping Bradshaw but quitting the Acolytes Protection Agency. She shook her head, trying to clear her mind of negative thoughts. Perhaps this was the best thing for her to reinvent herself. She would always be grateful for the lessons Bradshaw and Farooq taught her about wrestling and even about life. Her mind played a montage of memories of her, Farooq and Bradshaw in matches, laughing and playing cards. Her mind then traveled to when she and Bradshaw first kissed and the feelings she had for Bradshaw threatened to bust her chest open. Her eyes stinging, Tina collapsed to her knees and started slamming her fist against the floor. She knew she messed up. She kept hitting the floor until the urge to cry subsided. After a few moments she looked up and was relieved to see that no one had seen the episode. She quickly picked herself up and walked towards the backstage. She would at least do the right thing and wrestle with them one last time.
Farooq and a miserable Bradshaw made their way to the backstage when Benoit joined them,
"Hey guys!" He noticed Bradshaw's expression, "What happened?" Farooq sighed sadly,
"Tina broke up with Bradshaw and quit the APA." Benoit stopped in his tracks for a moment but quickly caught up with them again
"She did what? Why?" Farooq looked at Bradshaw who kept his focus ahead continued, "Lesnar challenged us to a match next week against him and The Big Show. He said things about Krystina that pissed Bradshaw off and put him in a bad mood. When she asked what happened, he snapped blaming the stuff that's happening with Lesnar on her. She got mad too and told him that they were over and that she was leaving the APA." Benoit frowned, feeling guilty,
"None of this would have happened if I had not caused such a big deal about you guys being together. I think the stress of that also drove her to make such a rash decision. For what it's worth I'm sorry." Bradshaw shrugged,
"I appreciate it Chris, but it doesn't matter anymore. I pushed her away and she's not coming back." Bradshaw let out a defeated sigh and the two APA members walked off, leaving a pensive Benoit behind.
Krystina was waiting in the backstage area when she was joined by Bradshaw and Farooq. She kept silent and avoided eye contact with Bradshaw. Farooq looked at the two of them and shook his head. These two were worse than a soap opera. Suddenly the Hardyz' intro theme hit and the three of them walked by them, with Lita waving at Krystina,
"Hi Tina! good luck! Don't hold back!" Tina plastered on a smile and waved back,
"Thanks Lita, you too!" Once the Hardyz and Lita walked into the arena, the crowd exploded with cheers. Krystina's smile faded as her mind focused on the match. Their theme music hit and the crowd reacted with cheers that rivaled the Hardyz. The APA greeted their fans as they walked down the ramp into the ring. Krystina smiled and waved. Once they jumped into the ring, the referee walked into the middle of the ring and looked at the six of them,
"Who's starting the match?" Lita raised her hand. The ref looked at Krystina who nodded, "Okay! Ladies get ready. Men, back to your positions! Krystina and Lita were in their fighting stances as the bell rang. Once it finished ringing, the two lunged at each other and locked up. The two struggled to get control of the other person. Krystina could hear Bradshaw and Farooq clapping for support.
'You guys aren't helping' she thought to herself as she successfully gained control of the lock up. She Irish whipped Lita to the turnbuckle which caused Lita to groan in pain. Krystina ran towards her, trying to ram her shoulder into her but Lita was too quick and she hit the turnbuckle instead. She groaned in pain but quickly recovered as Lita tried to kick her in the chest. Krystina quickly reversed it and irish whipped her into the ropes. Lita bounced off the ropes and headed towards Krystina who clotheslined her. Lita hit the mat hard as Krystina jumped on top of her, to pin her. Lita kicked out at two and quickly recovered. She quickly ran to the ropes, bounced off them and dropped kicked Krystina squarely in the chest. Krystina hit the mat with a groan. She winced as she grabbed her chest. Lita grabbed her by the hair to stand her up,
"Get your head in the game!" She heard Farooq shout. She knew that he suspected that she was distracted by the issues she was having with Bradshaw. She mentally shook her head to clear it and began to fight back. She quickly punched the other diva in the gut causing Lita to drop her hold. Running at Lita, Krystina landed a hurricanarana, which threw Lita on the floor. Knowing that she was in trouble, Lita ran to tag one of the boys in. Krystina went to tag Bradshaw in.
Bradshaw jumped in and started whaling on Jeff Hardy. He wanted to get his frustrations out of his system. All he could think about was her breaking up with him and leaving the tag team. He didn't want her to leave. She meshed so well with them that it was really hard to picture the tag team without her. Seeing her was something he was always looking forward to when he went to practice with them. He focused on the match and delivered a big boot to Jeff Hardy knocking him down. He felt Krystina's eyes on him as he delivered the Clothesline from Hell. He quickly pinned Jeff Hardy but the young wrestler kicked out at a one count. Bradshaw groaned as he continued match.
After twenty grueling minutes of going back and forth, Farooq was the one who successfully pinned Matt Hardy for the victory. The three of them celebrated in the ring with the crowd cheering loudly. They also acknowledged the crowd and made their way up the ramp. Once they were away from the view of the audience, Krystina looked over her shoulder. Farooq and Bradshaw were looking over at her awkwardly. She looked down at the floor,
"Well, I guess I'll be going. They won't need me for the rest of the show so I can go get my stuff out of the hotel room. See you around." She walked off, not daring to look back because she knew that somehow Bradshaw would make her change her mind. She went to the locker room and quickly packed her things. Making her way to her car she saw her Dad standing by the car. She sighed in frustration,
"What Dad? Are you here to yell at me some more, because my day is shit already." Benoit shook his head,
"Honey, I'm-"Krystina cut him off,
"I don't want to talk about it. John and I are over. It was a huge mistake. I'm going to the hotel to get my stuff so that I can make it to Charleston and then I'm going home for a couple days." She sighed trying to calm herself, "I'll see you when I get back ok?" Benoit nodded sadly; he hated seeing his daughter this upset,
Call me when you get there ok?" She nodded,
"Of course Daddy, I love you." She hugged him. She got in the car and drove off. He watched her car disappear into the distance. He walked back into the building, hoping that things would resolve themselves in time. He walked back in the building to find Bradshaw.
Bradshaw dialed his cellphone and placed it to his ear, "Come on, pick up the phone, Krystina." He groaned in frustration when he got her voice mail. He hung up and redialed her number only to get the same result. He nearly smashed the phone to pieces against the floor but thought twice about it. Fine, if she didn't want to talk to him, he wasn't going to lower himself by calling her multiple times. He sat there for a few moments, before his restlessness got the best of him. He started pacing the locker room back and forth. There was a knock on the door before it opened and Felicity and Dave walked in. Felicity immediately picked up that something was out of place,
"Where's Krystina?" Bradshaw, who continued pacing back and forth shrugged,
"I don't know. I've been trying to call her and she doesn't want to pick up the phone." Felicity bit her lip in frustration. She couldn't believe that Krystina would disappear on them. She vowed that she was going to try to call her later. Benoit walked through the door,
"I was looking all over for you guys. Tina went ahead back to the hotel to pack and leave for Charleston."
"What!" Felicity cried. She was alarmed at her friend's behavior. She would never go anywhere alone. Especially when it came to traveling long distances, "Did I miss something? She wouldn't just leave for any reason!" Bradshaw looked over at her with a sad expression,
"We got in an argument after the whole ordeal with her Dad. I said things I shouldn't have and she broke up with me and left the APA." Felicity shook her head and looked over at Bradshaw about to give him a hard time for doing that to her friend, but when she looked at him, she already knew that he was doing a good job of doing that to himself. She put her hand on Bradshaw's shoulder,
"Hey. She usually says things that she doesn't mean. She'll just need to cool down for a few days. Tina really cares for you, John. She wouldn't just leave you over petty stuff." He gave her a small smile,
"I hope you're right, Felicity because I'm finding that I can't stay away from her for too long. I just go crazy." Benoit winced at the last statement. Bradshaw was not going to be happy about what he was about to inform them,
"John, Tina's going home for a few days. So you won't see her until next week." Bradshaw bellowed,
"Goddamn it to hell!" He tried to contain his anger, "I can't do this shit anymore! I want her here with me. I love that girl for fuck's sake!" There was dead silence as Bradshaw's last statement sank in. Bradshaw's eyes widened as he realized why he acted the way he was. He turned to his best friend,
"Take me to the hotel." The two of them ran to the car to see if they could catch up with their team member.
