Krystina Benoit was sitting in her seat on her flight home to Atlanta. The show had gone well last night. She had not seen hair or hide of any of her friends. They were probably mad at her for abandoning them in Nashville. Right now she was so mixed up and confused she really didn't care. The encounter with Bradshaw two days ago had her really shook up. They had not been seeing each other for three days and he still had a profound effect on her. She was still able to wrestle her match and win but she cursed herself for being weak and vulnerable around him, but he had that effect on her and she knew that she could not overcome it. Right now all she wanted was to be able to enjoy the flight home and see her mother and brother.

After about three hours between the flight, getting her baggage, and getting a cab home, Krystina's taxi pulled into her driveway. She paid the driver and included a generous tip. She got out of the cab and walked towards the house. Before she could knock on the door it opened revealing her mother. She opened her arms wide and held her daughter tightly for a few minutes,

"Hey sweetheart, it's so good to see you." Krystina held her mother tightly as she missed being held by her. Nancy Benoit broke off the hug by inviting her into the house, "Daniel is in his room playing," She yelled up the stairs, "Daniel! Your sister is home!" Krystina heard the sound of running footsteps could be heard as the young boy appeared at the top of the steps,

"Tina!" He ran down the steps until he leaped from the second the last one into his sister's arms. Krystina laughed as she gave him a big hug,

"Hey little bro, how's it going? Have you been good for Mom?" The young boy smiled and nodded. The two of them had a large age gap between them, but when Daniel was born Krystina had fallen in love with him and had become like a second mother to him. The three of them walked to the kitchen to talk and catch up. The three of them stayed up talking. Daniel had gone to be around ten while Krystina and Nancy stayed up talking. Her mom walked to the liquor cabinet and grabbed a bottle of wine. She offered her daughter some who graciously accepted. She disappeared into the kitchen and a few moments later appeared with two wine glasses filled with wine. She gave one to Krystina and sat next to her. They were enjoying the wine when her mother turned to her,

"Ok, spill. What happening between you and Bradshaw?" Krystina sighed as she began her story,

"Well you know that Dad had asked him to take me in as soon as I got there, right?" Nancy nodded her head as she listened intently. Krystina paused to take a sip of her wine, "Well, when Bradshaw and Farooq made me a part of the APA they started training me to become a wrestler. They were hard on me, but I took it and ran with it because hey, it's the APA and this is big people territory that comes with the business. I think because I didn't cry and didn't feel that I was entitled to a better position because I was Benoit's daughter, I earned their respect. And I think things just kind of went from there." Nancy chuckled,

"Tina, I think what happened is when you were first there he saw you as a kid. You won't believe me Tina, but you grew into a very attractive woman. Even with your crazy hair, you're still a looker!" She ruffled the young woman's hair causing them to laugh. She took a swig of her wine,

"But I'm serious. The fact that you're beautiful, you're tough and that you don't act like those other bimbos on the roster probably spoke volumes to Bradshaw and slowly but surely he started falling for you. Now what happened after the situation with your Dad?" There was a long pause as she stared off into the distance as she recounted what happened,

"Well we made up and Farooq had come to get Bradshaw because the General Manager wanted to talk to him. After about twenty minutes I had been changing into my gear when Bradshaw and Farooq came in. Bradshaw was in bad mood because Lesnar recruited Big Show and had challenged them to a match. So-" Nancy interrupted her daughter,

"Wait a second. So Lesnar challenged them to a fight out of the blue?" Krystina rubbed her neck sheepishly,

"Actually it was out of the need to get back at Bradshaw for punching him after Lesnar got in my face." Nancy was growing more alarmed with the information she was receiving,

"And why was Lesnar getting in your face?" Krystina felt her cheeks burning,

"I got in his face for trying to put his hands on Felicity." Nancy rubbed her temples,

"Krystina…" She sighed, "What did I tell you about messing with men three times your size?" Krystina dismissed her comment with a wave of her hand,

"I know, I know. But he was trying to touch her and harass her and you know how protective I am of Felicity. We grew up together and she's like my sister." Nancy shook her head,

"Well was Dave there?" Krystina suddenly felt stupid,

"Well, yeah..." Nancy's frustration with her daughter escalated,

"Well he's her boyfriend, let him handle Lesnar!" Nancy sighed in defeat, "Anyway, what happened after that?" Krystina looked over at her mother sadly,

"Well, he blamed the whole match up on me, saying if I hadn't gotten in Lesnar's face that they wouldn't be in this situation. He was yelling at me and I got mad, broke up with him and told them that I was leaving the APA." Nancy's mouth hung open,

"Well damn. You really sent them packing." Krystina nodded solemnly,

"Yeah, I know. I was so mad that I didn't even think. I think I wanted to hurt him as bad as he hurt me." Nancy raised her eyebrow,

"I think you might have gone too far. Did you talk to him after you cooled off?"

"No. I just ignored him and everyone else. I shut off my phone because I thought Bradshaw was going to get everyone to gang up on me and try to get me to go back with him." Nancy shook her head,

"Tina, people make mistakes. You have to forgive and forget. You know his anger wasn't directed at you. He was just frustrated with Brock Lesnar. You should talk to him." Krystina shrugged her shoulders. Her Mom was right. She should talk to him and see if it wasn't too late to salvage their relationship. Krystina looked at her mother with a smirk on her face,

"Ok, I will. Not today but I will eventually. Right now, I just want to enjoy my visit with you and Daniel. I'm glad I'm here, you always make me feel better." Her mother hugged her,

"Honey, I'm glad you're here too." Once they finished their wine glasses, they decided to turn in for the night.

After she got ready for bed, Tina went into her purse for her cell phone. She switched on her phone and got into bed. Once her phone was back up she saw that she had at least a dozen missed phone calls and six voicemails she went over to the missed call section of the phone log and noticed that there were calls from Dave, Bradshaw Farooq, and Felicity. She also noticed that she had voicemails from Bradshaw. She dialed her voicemail and followed the prompts. For the first two messages, the line was silent for a few moments until the caller terminated the call. The third voicemail was a very intoxicated Bradshaw, who began to talk,

"H-Hey T-T-Tina it's Bradshaw," Krystina winced as she listened to the message hating that Bradshaw was doing this to himself. The message continued, "I-I was just wondering what you were doing. I sure do miss you…" his voice trailed off until he started to chuckle, "Sorry, I have to admit that I've been drinking. I drank more than I have in a long time. I wasn't going to drink but the guys insisted that I go-" Krystina deleted the voicemail and ended the call. She sighed. She hated it when he drunk dialed her. Krystina closed her eyes and fell into a fitful sleep. She dreamt about Bradshaw moving on to someone new and being happier with them than he was with her.
