Felicity Secoya and Dave Batista were in bed together after enjoying a lovemaking session. They had been together for a number of years but the lovemaking was still as passionate as their first time together. Batista snuggled into her arms resting his cheek in on her breasts. Felicity let out a sigh of contentment as she held him close to her. Even in the picture perfect moment, she couldn't help but think of her best friend; she knew she was hurting and was feeling alone. Felicity also thought about her friend Bradshaw and knew that he was equally hurting as badly as she was. She was looking up at the ceiling until Batista's voice broke her train of thought,
"Penny for your thoughts?" Felicity laughed as she looked down at him,
"Just a penny?" Batista laughed at her wit and gently poked her side which caused Felicity to laugh even harder as she squirmed away from him. Batista readjusted himself so that they were looking each other directly in the eyes,
"Come on, Baby you know you can tell me everything." She nodded as she smiled at him,
"I know I can baby. I'm just really concerned about Krystina. She's never reacted this way to any guy that she's been with. I mean to go off alone to Charleston and not even call anyone to let us know she's ok? Not to mention, she quits the APA and breaks up with Bradshaw, it's like she's sending them a message." Batista nodded,
"Yeah, it seems harsh, even for her. But you've got to understand, that relationships aren't really Krystina's thing. She's been in what four relationships in her life, and that includes the one with Bradshaw?" Felicity nodded as she listened intently to Batista, "I think things were said that weren't meant to be said. Plus, no apologies were given, which makes the situation worse. How about I talk to Bradshaw maybe get him to call her?" Batista's eyes lit up with an idea, "No, even better! I'll get him to send her some flowers with an apology note and maybe that will get them talking again?" Felicity's eyes lit up,
"Baby, that's a great idea that has to work!" She cuddled into him, "Go ahead and talk to him. I'm going to see if I can reach Krystina and I'll talk to her." Batista nodded and drew her closer,
"You know…I'm ready for round two." He claimed her mouth in a kiss and got on top of her as Felicity giggled with glee.
Krystina woke up to the smell of her favorite breakfast, strawberry pancakes. She made herself more presentable and went to her brother's room to wake him up for breakfast. They walked down together as they greeted their mother. Nancy hugged both of her kids and set out a plate with pancakes for each of them. She poured coffee for herself and Krystina. Krystina looked up at her mom and smiled,
"Thanks Mama, this looks amazing!" Nancy chuckled,
"You're welcome honey. Here's the syrup." She handed to Krystina, who handed it to Daniel,
"Here kiddo, you get first dibs." The three of them ate, talked and made plans for the day. Nancy looked over at her son,
"Danny, do you mind if Krystina and I had a girls' day? I've set up a play date with your friend, Charlie. He and his mommy are going to Lake Lanier and are more than happy to take you with them." Daniel punched the air with his fist,
"Oh yeah! Today's going to be an awesome day!" Krystina and Nancy laughed as they watched Daniel dance happily in his chair. Nancy turned to her daughter,
"I thought that you and I could go pamper ourselves, we'll do hair, pedicures, and manicures." Krystina danced in her chair copying her brother jokingly,
"Oh yeah!" the three of them laughed as they finished their breakfast chatting excitedly about the day's activities.
Bradshaw was working out in the hotel gym in a pace faster than he usually did. He had to do something that would help him get the stress out that he was feeling. He had gotten word that they were going to do a show in Atlanta. He had been considering going to see Krystina after the show and set things right, but he was worried that she would reject him. A tap on the shoulder snapped Bradshaw out of his thoughts. He looked up and saw Batista smiling down at him. The two men shook hands and greeted each other. The two of them started working out together. Batista started the conversation,
"So, I heard we're going to be in Atlanta on Monday…" Bradshaw nodded,
"Yeah, Tina's still going to be there by that time… I was thinking that I could go see her, but I'm afraid she's going to refuse to see me." Batista nodded,
"Yeah, that could happen." The tall Texan shook his head,
"I just can't get that girl out of my head and it's driving me crazy." Batista nodded solemnly,
"Dang, man you're really in love with that girl." Bradshaw nodded and smiled,
"Yeah I am. I really miss her." Batista cocked an eyebrow,
"How about you send her some flowers with a note? Every girl likes to get flowers." Bradshaw's eyes widened. Of course, how could he be that stupid? He slapped Batista on the back affectionately and ran off to get ready.
Krystina and Nancy Benoit had just dropped Daniel off at his friend's house and made their way to the spa. Both were excited to be able to enjoy the experience together and get pampered. Krystina usually didn't indulge herself, but after what she had endured with the hits on the mat and the emotional pressures of dealing with Bradshaw she made the exception. Once they pulled into the salon, a thin, redheaded woman welcomed them to the salon. The two women smiled and announced that they had appointments. Once the redheaded woman had found them in the system, she told them to sit out in the waiting area and she would alert her coworkers that they had arrived. As they were looking at the magazines, Nancy looked over at her daughter bringing down the magazine to her lap,
"Do you know what you're going to get?" Krystina nodded and smiled,
"Probably just lop off the dead ends, trim the bangs and dye my tips red." Nancy cocked an eyebrow,
"Is it going to be conservative red or fire engine red?" Krystina had a cat –that- ate- the- canary smile on her face,
"What do you think?" Nancy sighed as she pulled the magazine up,
"Fire engine red it is." Krystina giggled at her mother. Two women walked up to the pair and greeted them,
"Hello ladies, we're ready for you in the hair salon, and then they'll do your manicures and pedicures. Krystina and Nancy followed the stylists. They were led to a large room with no doorway that had rows of stylist's booths. Nancy sat at the booth of the older stylist with platinum blond hair while Krystina sat at the booth of the stylist who looked like she was around Krystina's age and had pink hair. Nancy told her stylist what she wanted to do while Krystina's stylist ran her fingers through the Diva's hair,
"What were you hoping to do today?" Krystina looked at her reflection in the mirror,
"I want to keep the length the same, add layers and I was hoping to have my hair go into red at the ends." The stylist nodded,
"How red were you hoping to go?" Krystina answered without blinking,
"I'd like it to be bright red please." Her hair dresser nodded as she continued to run her fingers through Krystina's hair,
"Ok, so what I'm going to do is dye your hair black so that way your base color is recent and then we'll deal with your ends." Krystina nodded in agreement as the hair dresser told her she would be right back with the materials. She felt her stomach in knots. She always got them whenever she went to the hair stylists because she always felt that something bad was going to happen to her hair. After a few minutes the woman came back and started prepping Krystina for her treatment. Krystina's stylist looked over at her, "All right, we're all set to go!" She started putting the hair dye on Krystina. For the next four hours the women sat there being pampered as they completed hair and then went on to their nails. The time seemed to go by quickly because the all the women got on splendidly and gossiped. Once they were done, they walked out of the salon feeling relaxed and happy. Nancy beamed at her daughter,
"I really like the black and red ombre you did. It looks really pretty." Tina smiled,
"I really like it too. She did an awesome job!" Nancy and Krystina got into the car and drove home. Nancy looked over at her daughter,
"How about when we get home we order some Chinese take-out?" Krystina nodded and clapped her hands excitedly,
"Yes, can we order from my favorite location?" Nancy smiled and nodded as they went to the Chinese dragon and then continued home. Once they got home they started sorting out the food and started eating. About half way through the meal there was a knock on the door. Krystina announced that she was coming and walked to the door. There was a young, handsome man at the door, who smiled,
"Are you Ms. Benoit?" She nodded,
"I am." The young man handed her flowers, "I have a flower delivery here for you." He handed her a large bouquet of flowers in a vase." Krystina smiled,
"Thank you so much." The man tipped his hat at her,
"You're welcome Ms. Benoit, have a nice day!" He walked off as Krystina closed the door. She looked at the flowers and admired them,
"Mom, flowers are here. I think Dad may have sent them to you." She handed them to her Mom, who looked at them,
"Oh these are so pretty!" Nancy noticed a small card attached to the vase and grabbed. She carefully opened and read the message. Her smile got bigger as time went by as she looked up at Krystina, "These aren't for me, Tina. These are for you." She held out the card as Krystina took it and brought it up to her face. She felt tears sting her eyes and travel down her cheeks as she read the note:
I'm sorry. I love you- Bradshaw.
Krystina looked up at her mom, "I'm sorry Mama, but I'm going to have to cut our visit short. I have to be at the Georgia Dome on Monday so that I can cheer on the APA. Then I'm going to tell Bradshaw that I love him too." Nancy clapped her hands excitedly,
"Tina, I'm so happy for you! I'll take you there myself!" The two women chatted excitedly as they rearranged the flowers. Krystina couldn't help but smile the whole time as she finally felt happy.
