Sorry for not updating in so long. *Cough* Months. *Cough* Things have been a bit...er...hectic lately. But hey, it's SUMMER! So I'll be updating more often. A little note, July 13th my current stories will (Most likely) be put on hiatus for this special I'm doing for my 1 Year on FanFiction so this might be the last chapter for a while. Unless I remember to update, which I'll try to do. Another lil' thing, this chapter will (Mainly) be in Spidey's POV cuz, if you haven't already guessed from the title and the previous chapter, it's Me Time. Enjoy!

"Spidey/Shadow talking/breaking the 4th wall"

"Yes, this is New York. And no, tornadoes are NOT normal everyday. Or ever. Luckily, N.Y has me, Spider-Man. And luckily I have my Spidey-Cycle!"

I rode up a building. "Love being me right now!" I caught up to the tornado. A guy in a green and grey costume came out. "Finally. I was wondering how much damage would be needed to draw out a hero-shaped punching bag." "Hero? That isn't a name I get called much. Now I'll feel bad taking you out, Whirlwind. Almost."

I kept following him, dodging many dumpsters, light-posts, etc. And I may or may not of slid off the cycle into the tornado. But if I did, I totally meant to do it.

Chibi Spider-Man swan dives into the tornado and gets whirled around. "Whoa, whoa!"

Inside I dodged more...stuff...until I webbed a truck, pulled myself up, and aimed the truck at Whirlwind. He moved and after the truck passed, I jumped down. "What guy has two thumbs and the courage to do this? This guy, that's who!" I pointed towards myself before grabbing onto Whirlwind. He kept trying to fling me off but I held on, rodeo style.

Chibi Spidey, dressed like a cowboy, is riding Chibi Whirlwind, dressed like a bull. "Yee-Haw!"

Unfortunately, he started spinning. Making me very, very, very nauseous. I let go and was about to get thrown out of the tornado, but I webbed Whirlwind's helmet and pulled it off before I could and hit him with it. Really, really, really hard. The tornado disbanded. I wound up landing near two kids. "Er...hey kids. Uh...stay in school!" I lifted my mask up a bit a hurled into the helmet. Not a good way to start off the day. Hehe, rhyme.

Fury landed beside me, with a jet-pack. "Good job taking down Whirlwind, but you're still doing too much Collateral Damage." He said. I looked at him and tilted my head slightly. "Damage? What damage." I took a good look around. About 10 city blocks were trashed. Best excuse I could come up with was..."Uh...it was like that when I got here?" Of course, Fury didn't believe me.

He said that it was 'Nothing a few hours of training couldn't fix'. I argued and told him that 'A few hours' in Fury-Time was 'The whole weekend' in real time. "Call if there's a real emergency." I whistled and the Spidey-Cycle rolled to my side. I hopped on and handed Fury the helmet. "You might wanna rinse that out. With soap. And bleach, just to be on the safe side." And with that, I drove off.

Parker House-Hold

I walked down and noticed a note on the fridge.

Peter,

Got a call from the gals to do
something in the great outdoors.
Left-overs in the fridge.
Be back Sunday.

Love,
Aunt May

"What's she doing this time?" I wondered out loud, then decided it was probably better not to know. Wait...I have the whole place to myself?!

"Can you say 'Awesome'?!"

I could make a whole montage of the awesome stuff I did. Playing guitar on the ceiling, video game marathon, web-trampoline. It was amazing! Until I noticed a little something in the corner of the ceiling. A little blinking something. I webbed it over and saw that it was a camera. "Someone's spying on me? Who? Doc Doom? Wizard?" I turned it over. There was a familiar logo on it. "Fury."

"That eye-patched jerk! He doesn't even trust me! I've gotta go have a word with him..."

...

Shield Heli-Carrier.

Fury showed me a video of when I was impersonating/mocking him. "You think this is funny?" He asked. I landed on the ground. "Hi-Larious. You think this is fair?" I showed him the camera and told him to explain. Surely he had a good reason. "This ain't my first rodeo, Kid." "Is that your answer for everything? What does that even mean? "

I'm leaning up against a building. Fury blasts a hole in it. "This ain't my first rodeo, Kid."

Camping trip, Fury's actually eating a scorpion. We are super grossed out. "This ain't my first rodeo, kids."

An actual rodeo! "This ain't-" "Your first rodeo. We know."

I kept yelling at Fury about him spying on me. He told me I approved when I signed up for SHIELD. I told him there was no way I did. Right?

After a flashback of when I sighed the contract, I did remember him saying something about cameras. It's still not fair, though.

"Look Parker, you're not a special case. Each one of you signed up on this." "I'd like to see you prove that!" Fury pressed a button and the rest of the team appeared on screens.

"Of course I signed it!" Tiger yelled. "Who wouldn't sign it? We had to sign it!"

"Yo, if Fury said you signed it, you signed it. Man up." P.M said.

"Sometimes the act of watching, is not the same as the act of seeing." Fist quoted.

"Of course I signed it!" Nova exclaimed. "Loving the jet-pack by the way!"

"Wait, wait, wait...you put cameras in my house?!" Shadow asked, a fudgesicle in her hand. "You know, that would explain the little bits of metal I keep finding."

Fury pressed another button and the team disappeared. "I hate how thorough you are." I muttered. "And why give a jet-pack to a guy who can already fly?!" Fury tried 'explaining' that it wasn't to spy on me, but to protect Aunt May when I wasn't home. Yeah right. "You lost me at 'hello', Nick. I didn't sign up so you can monitor my life." I took of my wrist-com and handed it to him. "And as of now, you don't! I'm taking the weekend off." "Think about what you're doin'." "What I'm doing is having fun for once. And I expect all of that stuff to be out of my house when I get back. And WHERE IS MY JET-PACK?! Until you answer that one, I'm off the clock." I walked out.

Devil Spidey appeared on my shoulder. "Yeah, you told him." Next, Angel Spidey. "Though you were quite rude." I swatted them away and continued walking.

...

I was riding a roller-coaster with a little girl. What? I did say I was taking the weekend off. So I went down to the board-walk and decided to ride this coaster. The little girl had the same idea, apparently. "Are you scared?" She asked. "Oh yeah! My Spidey-Sense is ringing off the charts." Little did I know, that wasn't from the roller coaster.

Two tentacles grabbed me. They were connected to...some guy...not too sure who he was. "Spider-Man, allow me to introduce myself." Worst 'Me Day' ever...

I tried to get free of the tentacles. Didn't work. Mr. Creepy started ranting/mumbling about 'he'. "First of all, who's he? You should reference all your pronouns. And second of all, you don't have me." I swung and kicked the guy. The tentacles let go and I landed on the track. I kept back-flipping to avoid the tentacles. "Hey, this is supposed to be my day off! Isn't there someone else who can take care of this? And who are you supposed to be anywhere? Squid-Guy? Octo-Arms?" "I am a doctor!" He yelled. "No, you need a doctor. And a very tight straitjacket." "I am not insane!" He yelled again. "I am the twilight of your creeping existence." Nope, nothing insane about that statement. "Oh wait, I got it! Doctor Octopus! It totally fits."

I jumped back to avoid Doc Ock, who was yelling at me about something or other. I noticed that the coaster carts were coming down, and when they did I pinned two of his tentacles under them and jumped down. Doc Ock fell soon after.

"Fun fact, octopi can't fly."

I waved to him as he passed me. "Yikes!" I yelled when he tried to grab me. Again.

"He's persistent, I'll give him that."

I jumped to a different bar and stood on it sideways. Ock kept talking about 'he'. "Again with the 'he'. Who's 'he'?" He climbed over and tried to stab me with his...er...claw? What do you call the thing at the edge of his tentacle? Either way, I moved out of the way and started running/jumping away. Eventually, he caught me once more. "Ok...you're starting to actually scare me." He said something about dissecting me. Not something I liked the sound of. "Please, you're way outta your league Doc Ock!" I spat at him. "And what's yours? Little League?" I groaned at the horrible joke.

Three chibi Spider-Men dressed in referee outfits are on a football field. "Comedy Violation." "Flag on the joke!" "First down, Spider-Man. Resume play!"

I webbed his face. He let go but then hit me with his...claw? Seriously, I don't know what to call it! I fell down and landed in a pile of teddy-bears. "Ow..." I got up and resumed fighting with Doc Ock, which wasn't going well.

After a while, I felt myself getting tired so I tried to retreat. Ock oiled the part of the wall I was trying to climb. I fell and he came at me with a small buzz-saw. "Wait, wait. I just wanna point out that an octopus has eight limbs, hence the word 'octo'. Just something to think about." The blade got closer, but before it hit I jumped back. Ock grabbed a civilian and started walking towards me.

"I know you, Spider-Man. You care deeply for others." I jumped down and told Ock to let him go. My demand was met with a 'make me'. I think I had this conversation in second grade...

I started leaping on Doc Ock's arms like they were a... "Jungle Gym!" He got his saw out again and tried to cut me. I grabbed the saw and the arm that was holding the civilian and cut it, causing the arm to let the guy go. He ran away and I tried to do the same. Instead, Ock grabbed me, again, and tried to electrocute me. "You know what's shocking?" I kicked the electrified tentacle at Doc Ock, shocking him. He flung me into the Fun House.

"Comedy Violation." "Flag on the joke!" "First down, Doc Ock. Resume play!"

"Yeah, I know, I know. That 'shock' line was kinda corny but...WHOA!"

I looked around and noticed that there were mirrors...everywhere. In one of the mirrors, I noticed Ock behind me. I kept jumping out of the way and he kept breaking mirrors. "Do you have any idea how many years of bag luck you just bought?" He resumed breaking the mirrors me, and I kept leaping. "You're trying my temper..." He said, obviously annoyed. "And I don't like it!" I spat.

"Comedy violation!" "Flag on the jo-"

"Oh come on! That was a good one! He said 'Trying his temper' like I tried it and didn't...never mind."

I landed on one mirror and saw Fury. "You shouldn't of gone alone." "This is the Hall of Mirrors, not the Hall of Life Lessons." I shooed him off. Doc Ock caught me off guard and knocked me to the ground, then grabbed me. "You're coming with me!" He yelled. I had to get outta there, fast. I also had to watch my mouth. "Over my dead body!" He shrugged. "If you insist." Ock electrified a claw and shocked me. I landed on the ground with a THUD. "They call this a Fun House?" I mumbled. Then everything went black.

Shadow's POV

"This is bad. Really bad. Like pissing off Wolverine bad!" I was flying through the streets of New York trying to find, or at least get a lock on, Peter. "It's been 10 hours since he stomped out and no one has seen him since! I'm getting worried, Luna." I heard the spirit sigh in irritation. "Maybe he is relaxing like he said." I shook my head. "No...I have a strange feeling. Peter's in trouble, I know it!"

I landed on the tip of a building. "I can't sense him...too many auras." I sniffed the air, but was met with the horrid smell of gasoline. "Can't get his scent either. And without his wrist-com, I can't trace him." I sighed and looked down. "Either way," I jumped off the building and closed my eyes. A warm feeling came over me and when I opened my eyes, I noticed fiery wings. "It sure is nice to have my armors back. I missed these things." I picked up speed and continued flying.

Still...I'm worried about Peter.

I'm sure he's fine, Tara. You worry too much.

Spider-Man's POV

When I came to, Ock was trying to buzz-saw me. I got free and started fighting...so I could run away!

After webbing Doc Ock, I jumped over to the computers. "Can I borrow a phone? I wanna see if my buddy Nick Fury could come over and pop you one." After trying most of the computers, Doc Ock pinned me to a wall. I looked back and noticed fishes. "We're underwater?! Great..." Seriously the worst day ever.

I kicked Ock and tied him up, then ran back over to the computers. I kept typing and ran into a file. One that had about a gazillion pictures of me. "Uh-oh. Stalker alert." I glanced over at Doctor Octopus, who was free and coming at me. I back-flipped and dodged his tentacles. "Seriously, What's up, Doc?" I started shooting webbing at him. Doc told me he 'wanted to know what made me tic' another something I'm not fond of.

"CrazyStalkerSaysWhat!" I said, really fast. "What?" Ock asked.

"Too easy."

I kept running away from him and dodging him. I managed to web holes that, I guess, let Doctor Octopus breath. "You seem to be in a sticky situation. Boom! Quip of the day." A few seconds later, the place started to blow and fill up with water. "Aw shnizzle..." I mumbled. I went over to a computer and pulled up SHIELD. I typed in the codes and Fury came on the screen. He was sipping coffee. WHAT?!

"Oh. It's you." "Hold the sugar, I'm flooding!" I yelled. Fury looked at me. "Flooding? What's your location?" "I don't know!" I yelled. "Doctor Octopus' lab!" "Doctor who?" Fury asked. I ignored him. "Underwater. Lock onto my coordinates, fast!" Fury's eye got wide. "You're a 100 feet below the East River! How did-" I cut him off. "Look, I'm sorry. Is that what you wanna here? Now trace this signal quickly cuz my Spidey-Sense is going crazy!" "Duck." Fury said. I tilted my head. "Duck? No fish, mostly. Oh..." I moved and Ock crashed the screen. Hope he got the signal...

Shadow's POV

I stopped flying when I heard beeping. I looked at my wrist-com and answered it. "Fury, have you found Spider-Man?" I asked. "Yes but...what the blazes is that?" I looked back. "What this?" I pointed towards the wings. "Fire Sprite Armor." I answered like it was a normal thing. "What the heck is...you wouldn't happen to have something for underwater would you?" I blinked a few times. "Er...yeah. Why?" "I need you to run an errand for me."

Next thing I know, I'm right beside the East River. "So you want me to go down there, grab Spidey and this 'Doc Ock' guy and bring 'em back up here?" Fury nodded. I glanced down at the river, then looked at Nick. "I can do that." I took a deep breath. The water surrounded me and then disbursed. I looked down at myself.

My hair was down, like usual, and I was wearing a light black and ice blue two piece. I nodded in approval. "Just how I left it." I looked over at Fury and did a two-finger salute. "Wish me luck!" I dived into the ice-cold water and swam down.

...

I looked at my com. 99 feet...where are you, Parker? Then I saw something. Or rather, sensed something. It seemed like the water was...communicating with me. Telling me...something. I glanced down and saw a familiar red and blue suit. "Peter!" I yelled. I swam down. When I got to him, I slipped my hand under his mask. Still a pulse...good. I grabbed him and swam up as fast as I could.

Spider-Man's POV

I blinked and saw Fury sitting by a campfire. "Wake up again?" I asked. "That would help, sure."

I blinked and really saw Fury. I was in the infirmary. I groaned. "How long was I asleep?" I asked. "Try unconscious. And lucky to be alive. If it weren't for-" He couldn't finish. A girl's voice rang through the room. "PETER!" Before I could react, I was pulled into a bear hug. The familiar scent of vanilla perfume filled my nostrils. "Tara...can't...breath..." She let go and looked at me, concern and worry is her eyes. Wait...why are her eyes blue?

She giggled and leaned back. I noticed she wasn't in her costume. She looked like she was ready to hit the beach. "Water Sprite Armor." She said simply. I tilted my head once more. "What?" "I'll explain later." She punched me in the arm. "DON'T EVER DO THAT AGAIN! YOU'RE LUCKY I WAS CLOSE ENOUGH TO GET YOU!" She yelled, causing me to slink back. Tara can be really scary when she wants to. Even when she doesn't. "Y-yes Ma'am..." I whimpered. Latara smiled and hugged me again. "I'm glad you're back." She's also very bi-polar.

I glanced over at Fury and sighed. "I really screwed up, huh?" Nick shrugged. "Most of us have to learn the hard way. Despite everything, you did good." "Connors is very pleased." Tara added. "This is amazing!" I glanced over at Connors, who was holding one of Doc Ock's 'claws'.

I started telling Fury about how grateful I was about everything SHIELD had done for me. "Compromise? One camera outside, and you delete all the existing footage?" Fury nodded. "It's a deal. All footage will be erased. Within 24 hours."

23 hours 23 minutes later...

Third Person POV

Tiger, Nova, Shadow, P.M and Fist were all laughing at the tape. No one noticed Shadow recording everything. Keeper. She thought. "Best. Security Tape. Ever!" Nova exclaimed. Fury smiled before deleting the footage.
