A/N: Hey guys! I know, you're wondering where the be chapters have been? Well, things have been kind of crazy for me lately but here's a new chapter for you guys! I hope you love it!

Running. Running through a forest. Faster, faster.

Mommy, Mommy! My head screamed but nothing came out of my mouth.

DROP! Ouch. Mommy dropped me on the ground.

Running. Running away. Mommy! No!

Mommy! Mommy, come back! MOMMY!

"Bella? Bella, wake up!" I heard Edward's voice.

No, Mommy!

"Bella?" Dad?

Please!

"Bella, please!" Mom? Mom.

Mommy. Oh, Mommy-

"NO!" I jolted up, eyes wide.

Sweat pouring off of me, I examined my room. Next to me on the bed was a frightened Edward. Surrounding us was everyone else, wearing a similar face as Edward.

"Bella, are you alright?" Esme asked gently.

Alright? Was I alright? "Um..."

"Bella?" Mom's voice was laced with concern.

What was that dream? More importantly, what had I said in my sleep? I could only imagine how red my face must be. I tried my best to pass it off as nothing.

"I'm fine, guys. Really," I lied terribly. I noticed the room was very dark. "What time is it?" I asked.

"About two AM," responded Jasper. Great.

Eventually everyone except Edward vacated the room. Edward pushed a little more to find out what had caused me to be so shaken up but I didn't give in. Besides, what would I say? I didn't understand it at all. So instead I just held him closer to me and tried to forget myself.

When I woke up that morning it was five. I didn't see any reason to go back to sleep so I got up. Once I was in the restroom I glared at myself in the mirror. My face was paler than usual and the dark circles under my eyes reminded me of the circles under all the eyes in the house.

When I went downstairs to force some cereal down, Alice cornered me.

"Gah, Bella. Have you seen yourself today?" She demanded.

"Ugh, no."

She sighed, disapprovingly. "Come on then."

She spent the morning caking my face in makeup. By the time she was finished it was time for school. The day went by dreadfully slow and my mind frequently drifted to thoughts of Charlie. He seemed so familiar and yet so much like a stranger. On top of that, when we were all at lunch some blonde girl had the nerve to come over and try and flirt with Edward. I ignored her but she approached me in the hallway.

"Hi, I'm Sarah," she said with fake sweetness.

"Bella," I replied.

"Well, I say you sitting with Edward. I was just wondering, is he single?" She played with a piece of her hair.

Ugh. "Actually, he's not. I'm his girlfriend so I'd appreciate it if you stopped flirting with him like an idiot in the future." I stomped away.

Woah, what was that? I was never so...outgoing.

By the end of the day, I was exhausted. It had been a long, awful day and I just wanted to go home. As Edward drove me home, all my thoughts were on going to bed. But as we pulled up, my thoughts stopped and I gasped. There, leaning against his truck was Jacob with none other than Charlie standing next to him.
