"You know... with you like this; I can take my sweet time..." the Dark Rumia said; cupping Rika's head in her hand; lifting it up enough to make her neck feel pain; if she hadn't shut off her pain receptors already; but not rip her head off.
Enkura was watching the sight with glee;and was unaware of the Satori who appeared behind Tenshi.
"Rekindled: Embers of Love." Koishi whispered; before she fired out several flame-covered heart shapes towards Tenshi's frozen form; which bounced off her. At the third wave'; one of the deflections flew past Enkura's face; causing her to notice; but it was too late. Koishi flew backwards; launching more shots; which bounced around the large room; enveloping Tenshi in blue and red flames. As the deranged Celestial flew towards Koishi; she vanished. The Satori entering the subconscious realm and removing herself from the conscious.
Tenshi shook herself off; and looked around.
"I don't get why there are two Rumias... but it's pretty clear from the look of that one which is the evil twin." Tenshi said.
Enkura noticed Tenshi was free; as Koishi vanished; but she was forced too far away chasing Koishi to do anything as the Celestial flew up towards the Evil Rumia; brandishing the Sword of Hisou; the red flames covering it vanishing; and revealing a scarlet blade.
The daemon turned in time; however; sensing the movement; and grabbed the sword with her hand; a trickle of blood coming from it.
"Nice sword." she said. "Mind if I take it from your corpse?"
"Have fun trying to kill me." Tenshi said; before she was priced by the dark Rumia's free hand; but just smiled.
"Because I'm a Celestial. I am an immortal." Tenshi said; smirking as she pulled her sword out of the clutch; before she swung again; with force enough to form a sword-wave of scarlet energy in the air; the daemon having to evade.
But cutting Rumia was not Tenshi's intent; as the wave shattered the chains binding Rika; the robot falling to the ground; rebooting her systems.
"Thanks..." Rika grunted. "I'll help as soon as my systems are back online..."
"You'll help? Ha!" Rumia said; flying towards Rika at high speed; before she was met with a barrage of keystones flying in her way.
"You've got to get past me first." Tenshi said. Her wound, which would have been mortal for anyone else, was healing slowly, the Celestial showing no signs of pain or hindrance as she brandished the Sword of Hisou in her right hand, and levitated a Keystone in her left.
"Fine; if I can't kill you... I'll just have to find out what happens if I shred you into a million ribbons! They say Gods cannot be killed; but that's what I was created to do!"
Everyone present suddenly felt a killing intent; strong enough to even make Enkura and Tenshi; who themselves had no fear of the concept; coil backwards.
"Who would have known something so wonderful was sealed inside that stuffy young woman~" Enkura said.
The monster's hand sparked with red lightling; as opposed to the normal blue that Dark Energy carried; before she cried: "Dark Cannon!"
With that; a rapid stream of massive blasts of Dark Energy; or something similar but with red lightling; fired towards Tenshi and around her at an incredible speed; the Celestial being completely hapless to the barrage; which surrounded her in a continuous chain of massive explosions; each one shaking the tomb; sending a shockwave through the air.
The barrage stopped and the devil gave enough chance for the energy particles to disperse. Tenshi was alive; but seemed battered and bruised; and several fractured keystones fell apart around her; as if she used them as a barrier.
"Is that all you've go..." Tenshi began; before Rumia was upon her; her other hand outreached.
"Dark Gathering." she said; before a maelstrom of dark energy began to swirl around and through Tenshi; collecting into a small sphere in Rumia's outreached hand; more like a bird's talon with the claws and angle of the fingers. Tenshi cried out in pain as the energy passed through her body; herself like the eye of the storm.
The storm stopped; and a sadistic smile broke across the face of the daemonic visage of Rumia. "I think I'll borrow the name you gave your feeble imitation... Dark Spark!" she cried; before the pinpoint of red and black erupted into a thunderous beam of black; crackling wildly with red lighting which lashed out; threatening to consume Rika and Enkura as well.
'I didn't even think it possible to use powers on this level in such rapid succession; without even a sign of tiredness...' Rika thought; as the torrent of dark energy relented; and Tenshi fell to the ground; smoldering and bleeding from several wounds; including her mouth and nose. She was clearly unconscious at least.
"So much for immortality Being immortal does you nothing if you are weak except grant you unending agony. There are fates worse than death that await true immortals; and if I truly cannot kill you then I shall ensure you experience every one of those horrors." she scoffed at the fallen Celestial. "The question is who I finish off first... I seem to have done an appalling job of actually KILLING any of you; and as much as I love to see your faces etched with despair and pain; the moment when a heart stops beating; and life leaves one's eyes is true ecstasy to me."
The daemon looked around for a few seconds; before her eyes narrowed and she licked her lips.
"I know who dies first." she said; before she flew towards; past Rika; past Tenshi.
She was headed for Enkura.
"Tell your mother when you meet her in Hell that I sent you too!" she screeched; before the tomb changed and a mountain appeared between the two.
"You think you can defeat me? I who can manipulate reality to my fantasy?" Enkura said.
"If your power was absolute you would have made me fantasy! But you can't; because I'm stronger!" Rumia hissed; before she blasteda hole through the mountain with a blast of dark energy; and flew into the middle of it.
"Watch and despair; throw yourself into the darkness if you wish for a quick death! Complete Darkness!" Rumia cried; taking the 'Saint was Crucified' pose; and giving off a tremendous amount of energy; before everything around her became a sphere of darkness. The mountain Enkura created was gone. There was no sound; no vision. Just darkness. And yet; everyone watching knew that everything inside the sphere of darkness was gone; completely reduced to nothing. Just beholding the attack gave off a sense of futility.
However; Rika had already shut off her emotions; to channel power into her weapon. In place of her torn-off left arm was a massive machine; which looked unslightly and complex; but ended in a single pinhead-sized needle; sparking with rainbow energy.
"You know... I wasn't lying when I said I reverse-engineered Yumemi's weapon... just I hadn't got the result I wanted." Rika said; her eyes switching to infra-red; to locate Rumia.
"It doesn't mater if you can regenerate or not; or how powerful you are... TRY TO SURVIVE WITH A DIMENSIONAL PORTAL IN YOUR CHEST!" Rika shouted; before her massive weapon fired a small beam of light through the sphere of total darkness; that came out of the other side.
Slowly; the sphere of darkness faded. The mountain was indeed completely gone; as was a large section of the tomb's ground; forming a crater of clouds. Rumia floated in the air; unmoving; still in her 'Saint was Crucified' pose; a very small white hole glowing where the heart would be on a normal humanoid. [Although if she even had one was doubtful].
Nothing happened for a few seconds. There was just silence.
Then; the daemon spat up black blood. The horns and wings vanished; and darkness returned to the room; as thin strands of energy flowed from her body back into the other Rumia.
"W...w...why can't I... heal..." she spluttered.
"You cannot heal over a dimensional portal. I ripped open a portal to... I don't even know where; in your chest." Rika said; gasping; the weapon vanished. "I said I would kill you; and even though this experimental device was not made for combat; and had great risk; I figured keeping you alive was a bigger one..."
Rika fell to one knee; and saw power warnings flickering in front of her vision. 1% power left. That shot had drained even more energy than she expected; and it only created a portal that small. How far ahead was Yumemi's technology to create dimensional portals with such ease?
As the energy flowed into Rumia; her wound began to heal; and her eyes flickered open.
"I'm sorry to have caused such trouble..." she rasped; looking up towards the other Rumia.
"Why... my power! I'm feeling... weak..." she hissed.
"It's returning to me; because you are dying." Rumia said; getting back up. "It's not like before; where we shared a body; so whoever was in control had the power. This power belongs to both of us... so with you dying; it is returning to me."
"I can't be dying!" she spat; getting quieter. "That's impossible!"
No-one responded; and the eyelids of the Dark Rumia drooped.
"My vision... I... can't see..." she said.
"Goodbye. I cannot say that I will miss this part of myself." Rumia said.
"Damn... you... all..." she whispered. Her head slumped before her body slowly vanished into the shadow itself.
Rumia closed her eyes and felt in her head for a second presence.
There was none. She was gone.
Author Note:
Enkura summoned the 'True Rumia' by making her powers and self 'reality' from the 'fantasy' within Rumia. This took Rumia's power with her; since she was ultimately her main source of power.
With the physical form of the Dark Rumia gone; the power simply returned to the 'Good' Rumia. Energy cannot be created or destroyed.
Rika finally achieved her goal and promise to kill Rumia. Kinda.
Also Dark Rumia was stronger here than she was before. She had the last 100 years to have nothing to do but learn how to use her power rather than mindlessly killing stuff. [She even learnt Gensokyo's language; whereas before she would only make feral sounds]. Although she could still enter her 'daemon form' when she fought Shinki; she was overconfident as she slaughtered everyone else who stood in her way before; and wanted to play with the Goddess before killing her.
