Ch 65: The Ultimate weapon
A few miles outside Lumoise city 3 dozen aura guardians had gathered in a hidden camp. 4 of the guardians set out feeding stations for all their pokemon. As the pokemon ate Vaeron and Andre both stood on a tree branch overlooking the city.
"Lumoise city, we're so close to winning this war." Andre said.
"Indeed my old friend." Vaeron said as he used his aura vision and saw the dark aura that surrounded the city.
"So much dark aura. It's almost blinding." Andre said.
"We're going to end it , today." Vaeron said. The two guardians performed leaps of faith into a pile of grass gathered below. Once they got out they walked back to the camp center.
"Attention everyone! Gather we need to discuss what's going to happen." Andre said. The other guardians and their pokemon gathered around them.
"We all know why we're here. To stop the bloodshed and to topple the tyrant king." Vaeron said.
"End the violence!" A guardian shouted.
"Save Kalos!" Another shouted.
"We will be splitting up our force in two. 18 of you will be under master Andre, your objective is to infiltrate the city. Open the gates, disable the defenses, and most importantly find and kill the commander of the King's army. Captain General Belrose. It is vital that he dies." Vaeron said.
"We will move out in twenty minutes." Andre said.
"The rest of you will be with me. We will infiltrate the tower , to disable it we must get to the top. But because of the weapon's power we cannot simply fly to the top. We must enter from the bottom up. However, the narrow hallways means not all of our pokemon will be able to enter." Vaeron said.
"What about the king? Where is he?" A guardian asked.
"The tower." Vaeron said. Several whispers ran through the guardians.
"Guardians, remember we're here to save Kalos. Its people and its pokemon. The tyrant king and his army have brought death and suffering to this land for years and now it's time for them to face justice. It will be dangerous, but we have trained you all well. We can stop the king today for Kalos!" Vaeron shouted.
"For Kalos!" The other guardians shouted.
"May Reduka guide us to victory!" Andre shouted. As the other guardians prepared themselves and their pokemon, Andre and Vaeron walked to their pokemon.
"Before you leave Andre I need to warn you. The king has a tear, and thus it is entirely possible that he has given himself and his generals unnatural power with them. When you face Belrose use caution." Vaeron said.
"I'll keep that in mind." Andre said.
"Also I want you to have this." Vaeron said as he handed Andre the red tear of Reduka.
"A tear of Reduka!" Andre said.
"We may need them by the time we're done. If something were to happen to me, I don't want them both to fall into their hands." Vaeron said.
" May Reduka guide you to victory." Andre said.
"May he guide you to victory." Vaeron said. Andre and his Absol walked in one direction from the camp with half the guardians.
"Grauu" Charizard growled as he stood behind his partner.
"I know my friend, I know." Vaeron turned to the rest of his guardians.
"It is time to dethrone Aorzorka !" Vaeron shouted as he climbed onto his Charizard's back.
"Hazaah!" The other guardians shouted.
Ash's eyes opened and he saw Pikachu asleep next to his head.
"Oh no ,not again." Ash said as he rubbed his temples. He slowly raised his body up and looked down at Pikachu. He gave him a pet on the head before getting out of bed and putting on a jacket.
Several Minutes later he was on top of a large building overlooking much of the city. He was looking at the city through his aura vision and saw thousands of people and pokemon all resting throughout the city.
"Can't sleep either." A familiar voice said. Ash turned to see Red standing behind him.
"I had another vision." Ash said.
"Yeah me too." Red said.
"When are these visions going to stop. Are we going to have to see every event in Vaeron's life?" Ash asked.
"I don't know, but I really want to find out where I knew the name Vaeron before. Maybe if we could figure that out then it would help make these visions clearer." Ash said.
"Maybe." Red said.
Several hours later Ash and the others met with Serena and her family near the edge of Lumoise city.
Serena gave both her parents a hug as the group prepared to get underway.
"It was great seeing you again mom and dad." Serena said.
"It was great seeing you too Serena, we couldn't be more proud of you." Grace said.
"Now remember to stay safe and out of trouble." Alex said while giving a stare at Ash.
"I will dad." Serena said.
"Alright , I need to get back to the army then." Alex said before he gave his daughter one more hug.
"I should get going too, I have a race in Anistar city that I can't miss." Grace said before walking off.
"So our next stop is the pokemon league." Red said.
"Where is the pokemon league?" Serena asked.
"The entrance to the path to get there is east of Santalune city so we'll have to start by heading back there." Ash said.
"Alright boys I have work to do but your father and I will be there for the Pokemon league." Delia said.
"Thanks mom and dad." Red said.
"Diancie are you sure you don't want me to take you to the brotherhood where you'll be safer?" Felix asked.
"Please listen to reason princess." Merrick said.
"Yes let him protect you." Knight said.
"No, I feel safe enough with Serena and Ash. I want to stay with them." Diancie said.
All three of her bodyguards sighed.
"Alright then." Felix said sounding just as frustrated.
"Don't worry dad, we can keep her safe." Ash said.
"Alright good luck you two. I'll see you at the Kalos league." Felix said.
"We'll see you there." Ash said. Standing in front of Clemont was Shauna as Bonnie stared at them both.
"So uh" Clemont said nervously.
"Clemont I actually told my parents that I would head back and meet them after the Grand Festival ended. So I'll need to head back to them first." Shauna said.
"Oh ok." Clemont said.
"After that I'll head to the pokemo league." Shauna said before she came forward and gave him a short kiss.
"See you there." Shauna said before she walked off.
"Aww why can't she travel with us?" Bonnie asked.
"Well we thought Korrina wasn't going to travel with us and now she is." Red said.
"Alright we have our stuff packed and we know where to go. Let's head on out to the Kalos League!" Ash shouted.
Several hours later the group was walking down route 4 towards Santalune city.
"So how many trainers are competing in the Kalos league?" Serena asked.
"At least a few hundred compete every year." Korrina said.
"A few hundred, wow." Serena said.
"It certainly won't be easy." Ash said. Unknown to the group, they were being watched by a group of people.
One was using his binoculars and saw Diancie in the center.
"Target sited, move in." .
"So what happens at the pokemon league?" Diancie asked.
"Well like the Grand Festival, you have to earn entrance to the pokemon League. Except you need 8 badges. Once you have 8 badges you fave off against other trainers who also got 8 badges. If you can beat every trainer you face you'll win the pokemon league." Ash said.
"And then you'll be the champion?" Diancie asked.
"Well no." Red said.
"Oh, then what do you win?" Diancie asked.
"Well you win money and a trophy. You also get your picture taken with your pokemon and are put in a hall of fame." Ash said.
Moments later a barrage of pin missiles hit the ground in front of the group.
"What the?" Clemont said.
"Look out!" Ash shouted as he pulled Serena and Diancie back away from the pin missiles.
"Where did this come from?" Red asked. Moments later a Chesnaught came out followed by none other than Millis Steel.
"Oh no." Clemont said.
"One of the Flare mercenaries." Korrina said.
"Give me Diancie and you won't be harmed." Millis said.
"Never." Serena said as she sent out her Delphox.
"Phox!"Delphox said as she raised her wand and aimed it at the Chesnaught.
"I don't think so." Millis said.
Moments later a Water Shuriken hit and knocked Delphox's wand out of her hand.
"Huh?" Serena said as Delphox looked just as confused. Moments later Millis's Chesnaught was joined by a Greninja and a Delphox as well as Ninja Riot and Marilyn Flame.
"Hello kids." Marylin said.
"We're not letting you take Diancie." Ash said as Pikachu leapt down from Ash's Shoulder and growled as his cheeks sparked. Red sent out his Charizard as Korrina sent out her Lucario and Clemont sent out his Heliolisk.
" Looks like they want to play." Millis said.
"Good thing we're not alone." Riot said. Moments later 4 team Flare grunts came out with a Manetric beside each of them.
"Give us Diancie." One of the grunts said.
"Never! Charizard Flamethrower!".
"Delphox Flamethrower!" The two large fire types unleashed a barrage of fire around them. The Flare mercenaries and grunts backed up as the fire came around them.
"Manetric use Thunder!".
"Pikachu stop them with Iron tail!".
"Steel wing Charizard!".
"Iron Claw!" Korrina shouted.
"Dragon tail!" Clemont shouted.
Pikachu leapt forward and absorbed the thunder with his now metal tail, before smashing his Tail into the Manetric's head knocking him out.
At the same time Red's Charizard held his metal wings in from of him as the metal absorbed the electricity. With his wing's charged up, Charizard came forward and smashed the Manetric with Steel wing, also unleashing the electricity he had gathered, knocking the Manetric out.
At the same time Lucario leapt up and over another Manetiric's Thunder before slashing him across the face with Metal claw, knocking him out.
Heliolisk opened his Frill and absorbed the Thunder before lunging forward and smashing the last Manetric across the face with Dragon tail, knocking him out.
""Sigh", You grunts are useless. Water Shuriken!" Riot shouted.
" Charizard Flamethrower into Dragon claw!". Red's Charizard unleashed a thick torrent of fire that managed to evaporate each of the water Shuriken's before flying up at Greninja with his claws glowing violet.
"Feint attack!" Riot shouted. His Greninja cloaked himself in darkness and vanished as Charizard slashed where he was. Greninja appeared behind Charizard and slashed the fire lizard , knocking him forward.
" Pikachu Thunderbolt!" .
"Heliolish use Bulldoze!".
"Psychic into Fire Blast!" . Marilyn's Delphox's eyes glowed blue as she used her Psychic energy to divert the Thunderbolt away and keep the seismic activity from the ground beneath her.
Once the Bulldoze had stopped Delphox unleashed a massive burst of symbol shaped fire at PIkachu who quickly leapt out of the way only to have the fire hit and hurl Heliolisk back a few feet.
"Heliolisk!" Clemont shouted.
"Lucario use Aura Sphere!".
"Delphox use Psybeam!".
Delphox and Lucario both unleashed their attacks at Chesnaught.
"Spiky shield into Pin Missile!". The Chesnaught held his arm over his body as a massive spiky shield formed and protected him from the two attacks. Once the attacks were gone Chesnaught bombarded Lucario and Delphox with Pin missile.
The two pokemon backed up after they were attacked as their trainers did the same.
"We've got them now." Millas said.
"You're not taking Diancie! Charizard Dragon Claw!" Red Charizard flew at the Greninja as fast as he could.
"Greninja dodge and use water Shuriken." The Greninja leapt up and prepared to unleash his water attack.
"Air slash!". Charizard re-angled his wings and flew right up at Greninja before slashing him across his face and body. After Greninja began to fall Charizard slashed him across his body with Dragon claw, hurling him into the ground.
"Dam." Riot said.
" Pikachu Electroball!".
"Pika chu!" Pikachu shouted as he hurled his tail forward unleashing a ball of electric energy at Delphox.
"Stop it with Psychic!".
"Quick attack!". As Delphox stopped the Electroball in mid air as Pikachu rushed forward and hit Delphox in the chest.
"Thunderbolt!". Before Delphox could recover Pikachu filled her with electricity.
"Phox!" She shouted as electricity filled her. That wasn't all, because of the quick attack Delphox lost focus and the Electroball she was holding continued forward and slammed into her.
"Phox!" She shrieked in pain.
"Delphox Flamethrower!". Delphox raised her wand and unleashed a jet of fire.
"Chesnaught use Spiky shield." Chesnaught drew the shield over himself and deflected the fire.
"Psychic!" Serena shouted. Delphox's eyes glowed blue as she grabbed hold of Chesnaught's arm with Psychcic energy and forced his shield to the side, allowing the rest of the flamethrower to engulf him.
"Lucario Power up Punch!". Lucario sprinted forward and slammed his fist into Chesnaught hard, hurling him back.
"Dam kids, they better double our fee for this." Millis said. The mercenaries' pokemon got up and faced the group's pokemon.
Just before they could call out another attack a pair of flamethrowers shot out from behind and stopped the 3 Kalos starters from making another attack.
"What the?" Red asked before a Psycho cut came out and hurled the mercenaries back.
"Psycho cut?" Korrina said confused.
"Look it's that man who saved us before!" Diancie said excited. Ash and the others turned around to see none other than Lysandre walking up behind them with two Pyroars and a floating squid like pokemon floating over him.
"Lysandre?" Ash said very confused.
" What pokemon is that?" Serena said opening her pokedex.
"Malamar the Overturning Pokemon and the evolved form of Inkay. Possessing the strongest hypnotic powers of any Pokémon, Malamar can compel others to do anything it wants them to do."
The malamar had a bit of a dark aura around him that made Ash, Red, and Korrina uneasy.
"Stay back Mercenaries!" Lysandre said as he came up to the group.
"Lysandre what are you doing here?" Ash said sounding a little suspicious.
"I was on my way back to my home. I live near Santalune city. I heard trouble and that's when I saw you." Lysandre said.
"You just happened to come when these mercenaries attacked again." Red said also sounding suspicious.
"Thank goodness." Clemont said.
"We're not leaving without that pokemon." Riot said as he and his team mates got up with their pokemon.
"We're not letting you take her!" Korrina shouted as they faced the mercenaries. Lysandre looked at Diancie then gave a nod to Riot.
"Malamar use Hypnosis!" Lysandre said. Malamar's eyes turned blue as he turned them to the group's pokemon. Malamar unleashed Hypnosis not on the Mercenaries' pokemon, but the groups' pokemon.
"Chu!".
"Grauu!".
"Grouu!".
"Phox!". They shrieked as they felt Malamar's powers enter their minds and forced them all to the ground.
"What the!?" Korrina screamed as the mercenaries put in some kind of ear plugs.
"Hyper Voice and Thunderbolt." Lysandre said. His two Pyroar unleashed a piercing roar that forced the group to cover their ears and sent Serena, Clemont, Diancie, and Bonnie to their knees.
The Malamar blasted Ash, Red , and Korrina with Thunderbolt , sending them to the ground as the others fell to the ground.
Lysandre smiled as he walked over to Diancie.
"Lysandre what are you doing!?" Korrina shouted.
"Something that I've been meaning to do for a long time." Lysandre said as he reached for Diancie.
"No! I don't want to go with you!" Diancie said as she tried to get away.
"Stay away from her!" Merrick said as he , Joker, and Knight rushed over towards Lysandre.
"Pin Missile!" Millis shouted. Her Chesnaught unleashed a barrage of spike missiles that engulfed the 3 carbink.
"Merrik! Knight ! Joker!" Diancie shouted as she saw her bodyguards lay unconscious on the ground. The 4 flare grunts walked up and behind Lysandre.
"We did it Boss. Our plan is about be complete." One said.
"Boss, wait then that means. You! You're the leader of team Flare!" Ash shouted.
"Ha, it took you this long to figure that out." Lysandre said.
"But how? We were around you so many times and you were with so many other aura guardians. How did none of us feel your true nature?" Korrina asked.
"I may not be an aura guardian. But I have mastered my presence, not even your mentor could see me for who I really am. Now Diancie is mine, and my plan will finally be complete!" Lysandre shouted as he reached for Diacnie who closed her eyes and got into a scared position.
"No!" Serena shouted as she reached over and grabbed Diancie. Lysandre grabbed Diancie and tried to pull her out of Serena's arms.
"Let go!" Lysandre shouted.
"No!" Serena shouted back.
"I said let go!" Lysandre screamed as he kicked Serena in her stomach and ripped Diancie from her arms. Upon seeing this Ash grit his teeth in anger towards Lysandre.
"Yes, at long last. Now then to get my revenge Ash Ketchum. You have been a thorn in my side from the very beginning. Now I have you right where I want you. I could simply destroy you, but I know a way to make you suffer even more." Lysandre said grinning as he turned to Serena.
"Now then, Pyroar use Hyper beam on the girl." Lysandre said as he and his men stepped back away from Serena, and his Pyroar opened their mouths. Serena's eyes teared up as she closed them and held her arms close to her head.
"NO!" Ash shouted. Despite his pain from the Thunderbolt and Hypervoice he was able to get up and dive in front of Serena just before the two Hyperbeam's could reach them. At the last moment he tried to throw up an aura barrier which absorbed a bit of the Hyperbeams before being shattered and hitting Ash.
"Ash!" Red and the others shouted.
The force from the two hyper beams pushed Ash back, which in term forced Serena back. The two were hurled to the edge of of the hill and began rolling down.
"What!? No! After them you fools!" Lysandre shouted as two of his grunts ran after Ash and Serena.
"Xerosic this is Lysandre, we have Diancie but the boy has escaped. He could be a danger, move in and eliminate him." Lyandre said over a communicator. He then turned to the others and their pokemon.
"The rest of you will be coming with me." Lysandre said smiling.
Ash and Serena continued rolling down the hill until they reached the bottom. Serena slowly opened her eyes and saw Ash laying beside her. She could feel he was in immense pain through their aura connection.
"Ash!" She shouted.
"Pikachu,Diancie, Red, Korrina, all of them. Lysandre has them we need to go back!" Ash said in pain as he tried to get up. He faltered and nearly fell to the ground until he was caught by Serena.
"No! We can't go back, you're too hurt. We need to get out of here!" Serena said.
"We can't leave them." Ash said.
"Ash Delphox is still up there too. I don't want to leave them any more than you do , but if we go back then we'll just get captured. You're to hurt to fight and Lysandre has us outnumbered. We need to get out of here and get to your dad. He can help us." Serena said.
Ash glared at the top of the hill wanting desperately to run up there and attack Lysandre with his hidden blades. But he knew Serena was right. He was too wounded and they would only get captured. If he wanted to help them he would have to get help.
"There they are!" A flare grunt shouted as he ran at Ash and Serena with an electric baton in hand. He raised it at Ash only to have Serena jab her hand into the man's throat making him drop his baton and bend back in pain. Seeing an opportunity Serena delivered a powerful kick to the man's stomach knocking him onto the ground.
The second Flare grunt rushed at Serena with his electric baton raised above his head. Serena waited until he was close then ducked down as he swung and used his own force to hurl him over her body and onto the ground.
As he tried to get up Serena kicked his arm making him drop his baton before she kicked him again in the head. With the two Flare grunts down Serena helped Ash up by putting his arm around her shoulders lifting him up.
"Come on we need to move!" Serena shouted as they walked as fast as they could with Ash's injury.
After a few minutes Ash felt several hostile aura's approaching them.
"Serena they're coming after us." Ash said.
"Come on then we need to move!" She shouted. Moments later another two Grunts with a pair of Manetric beside them rushed towards them from behind.
"Manetric use Thunderbolt!" One of the grunts shouted. Serena quickly reached to her pokeball belt and threw one forward.
Serena's Furfrou came out and stood between her and the Flare grunts.
"Cotton guard!" Serena shouted. Furfrou coated himself in cotton spores that easily absorbed all of the incoming electricity.
"Furfrou use Tail whip into Take down!" Serena shouted. Her Furfrou ran forward dodging the incoming Thunderbolts before smacking his tail into both Manetric, lowing their defenses before hitting them both with Take down , knocking them out.
The two grunts rushed at Serena and Ash with their electric batons raised. Serena turned her head to one and momentarily let go of Ash before moving to the side as the man went past her. Just before he could get all the way, Serena locked her foot in front of his making him stumble and turn around before she delivered a powerful high kick to his face.
The other grunt came at Ash, and despite his injuries he grabbed the man's baton arm and forced it to the side before kneeing him the stomach , then the face as his head lowered.
"Come on!" Serena shouted as Ash put his arm around her again and they moved as fast as they could with Furfrou running beside them.
A few minutes later they saw 4 flare grunts and 4 Manetric ahead of them blocking their path.
"You will go no further." One of the grunts said. Ash slowly reached down to his pokeball belt and hurled one forward. His Mightyena came out and growled at the flare grunts.
"Manetric use Thunder Fang and Thunderbolt!" A grunt shouted. Two of the mantric ran forward with electric sparks in their mouths' while the other two unleashed bolts of electricity at Fufrou.
"Furfrou use Dig!".
"Mightyena dodge and use Taken down into Crunch!". Ash's Mightyena ducked down as one of the Manetric leapt over her. Once the Manetric was behind her, Mightyena leapt up and knocked the second one into the ground with Take down. She then turned and caught the second Manetric in her jaws as he came from behind.
Meanwhile Furfrou burrowed his way underground avoiding the Thunderbolts then came up underneath them, knocking the two Manetric out.
Before they could do anything else a Psycho cut hit Furfrou and hurled him back.
"Furfrou!" Serena shouted. Mightyena turned around just in time to see a Malamar unleash Superpower on her.
"Mightyena!" Ash shouted as he saw his pokemon get hurled back. Before he could say anything else Ash felt another presence approaching them. He turned and saw a Flare Paladin hurl his sword at them.
Ash quickly brought up his left hidden blade just in time to stop the sword. The Paladin kicked Ash in his side , knocking him and Serena to the ground. Another Paladin revealed himself with a pair of Houndoom beside him.
Moments later another team flare member came out with 4 more grunts and 4 more Manetric beside them.
The Flare member wore an officer's uniform with 3 streaks of hair across the top of his head and a patch that went right up in the back. Another Malamar floated beside him as he stepped up between the two paladins.
"Well well well, look what we have here boys. Thought you could get away, wrong! Now that we have Diancie we're going to create a new world!"Xerosic shouted. Before he could say another word a maelstrom of leaves flew through the air and knocked out all 4 of the Manetric.
"What the!?" Xerosic said as Ash and Serena turned their heads. The ground shook as they saw a massive pokemon that looked like a Venasaur only bigger with a large bloomed petal on his head and a much bigger plant on his back with branches and large leaves.
"It's a Meaga Venasaur, then that means." Ash said as he felt a powerful aura presence. Moments later came out of the Mega Venasaur's leaves. She wore a green and pink Aura guardian robe and had a black cloth over her mouth.
She leapt off her Venasaur's head and slammed the ground with her hand, unleashing a blast of aura that knocked 4 of the Flare grunts off their feet. The other 4 ran at her before she thrusted her hand forward and unleashed an aura sphere that burst in front of them , hurling the grunts back and onto the ground.
"Aura guardian ! Kill her!" Xerosic said. His Malamar used Hypnosis and tried to control Venasuar. The guardian took a deep breath as her eyes glowed blue. Her Vesnasaur's eyes glowed blue as he was protected from Malamar's mental powers.
The Mega Venasaur roared as he unleashed a powerful Frenzy plant. Several massive spiked roots shot out of the ground and entangled the two Houndoom.
"Malamar use Psycho cut!" Xerosic shouted. His Malamar whipped several of his tentacles forward as he unleashed waves of Psychic energy at Mega Venasaur. The Mega Venasaur's flora on his back began glowing as he absorbed sunlight. He then stepped forward and opened his mouth before unleashing Solarbeam.
The mighty Solarbeam flew forward and tore through the Psycho cuts before hitting Malamar and instantly knocking him out.
"Kill her!" Xerosic screamed as his two Paladins drew their swords and ran at the aura guardian. The aura guardian waited until he two Paladin's got close then blocked their swords with her hidden blades.
After blocking the swords she kicked one in the calf causing him to lurch back. As he did the Guardian lunged at the other paladin, knocking his sword aside with her left hidden blade then dug her hidden blade through part of his armor on his shoulder.
The other Paladin came from behind with his sword raised but was stopped then the guardian came back and plowed her foot into his stomach. Despite his armor the power of the kick was enough to force the Paladin back as the Guardian grabbed the other Paladin's shield arm and forced him forward before smashing her elbow into his now exposed shoulder.
After doing so she threw him to the ground as the other Paladin came back at her. The guardian turned to him and thrusted her arm forward unleashing a rope dart that wrapped itself around the paladin's leg. The guardian smiled as she yanked the rope hurling the Paladin onto his back.
The guardian turned to Xerosic who was now terrified. He returned his Malamar before running away as fast as he could. The Guardian smiled before she turned to Ash and Serena who had gotten up.
"Are you two ok?" She said as she walked over to them.
"No he's hurt bad." Serena said. The guardian looked at Ash and touched his abdomen. Ash grunted from the pain.
"He has a few broken ribs, we can take care of them at the Guardian guild in Santalune city." The woman said.
"No you have to save my brother and our pokemon." Ash said.
"What?" The woman said.
"He has them, the leader of team Flare has Diancie and our friends." Ash said.
"Diancie! Wait where!? What are you talking about?" The guardian said.
"My name is Ash Ketchum I'm an aura guardian too." He said revealing his hidden blades.
"I know that, I could feel your aura young man. My name is Eliza Borde, I'm the head of the Santalune city Aura guardian guild. Now you said the leader of team Flare is nearby. Is he the one who hurt you?" Eliza asked.
"Yes, now we have to!" Ash started.
"We need to get you some medical care. Come now to Santalune city." Eliza said.
"But!" Ash shouted.
"I will take care of it." Eliza said. Moments later another two aura guardians came out of the trees and walked up to Eliza.
"Sorry we're late master Borde." One said.
"It's alright Fredric. You and Nathan head back that way and search the aura in the area well. According to this guardian the leader of team Flare is there and has Diancie in his possession." Eliza said.
"Dam let's go!" The guardian shouted as he and the other guardian ran after Xerosic.
"Now let's get to the guild." Eliza said as she put Ash's arm around her shoulder and helped him walk.
"No! I need to save Red and Pikachu!" Ash started.
"Ash please you're hurt you need to see a doctor." Serena said. The Mega Venasaur walked over to Furfrou and Mightyena who were trying to get up.
"Saur" He said as he used Synthesis on them both.
"Yena.".
"Frou." The two pokemon said feeling a lot better. A few hours later they had reached the hidden Aura guardian guild HQ in Santalune city. Ash was in the medical area as a guardian doctor looked at him. The guardian took another deep breath as his moved his hand over Ash's broken ribs and used his aura to snap them back into place.
"What happened to you young man, were you hit by a Hyperbeam?" The guardian asked.
"Two actually." Ash said.
"What? Oh it doesn't matter, lucky for you that I'm a doctor outside of being an aura guardian and the best aura healing in the brotherhood. Well second best." The guardian said as he continued to heal Ash.
Elsewhere in another room Eliza had sat Serena down at a table and poured her a cup of tea. Eliza noticed that Serena seemed very depressed with her head facing down at the floor and a very sad expression on her face. She could also feel a great amount of pain in her aura.
"Serena are you alright?".
"No I'm not. I can't stop thinking about my Delphox and all of my closest friends being captured by Lysandre and there was nothing I could do but run away." Serena said.
"Serena you had to get away, you were out numbered and Ash was wounded. You would have only been captured yourself." Eliza said.
"I know that, I don't regret getting Ash and myself to safety. It's just, most of my closest friends, my first pokemon , and Diancie are now in the hands of Lysandre. I promised Diancie that I would keep her safe and I failed." Serena said as a tear came down her eye.
"Serena, everything is going to be fine. I sent two of the finest guardians in Santalune city after them. They will have them back before you can say." Eliza started.
"Master Borde they're gone." One of the guardians Eliza had sent said as he walked in with the other guardian.
Eliza sweatdropped.
"We searched all of route 4 and couldn't find them. We're sorry but there was nothing more we could do." The other guardian said.
"Oh no, now what?" Serena asked.
"Well we should contact the Mentor, he will know what to do." Eliza said. Elsewhere several miles directly east of Lumoise city , Lysandre , his mercenaries, his officers, 50 grunts, 20 paladins , and his prisoners stood before a patch of trees.
Moments later Mable walked up the path towards Lysandre with a pokemon in hand.
"Boss I did it , I found us an Aurum." Mable said.
"Yes, at last. Now let us begin." Lysandre said.
"What are you going to do Lysandre?" Red asked.
"You'll soon find out." Lysandre said as he reached into his coat pocket and took out a key.
"Bring him forward." Lysandre said.
Red and the others saw a pair of Paladins drag a massive man, with chains around his arms, across the ground.
"Is that?" Clemont started before they realized it was AZ.
"AZ?" Korrina said confused.
"You're going to tell me where the lock is." Lysandre said.
"You'll have to kill me before I tell you." AZ said.
"Oh I'm not going kill you." Lysandre said as one of his Paladin's handed him a sword. The Malamar then waved his arms and used his Psychic energy to force Pikachu to walk forward towards Lysandre.
"What are you going to do!?" Red screamed.
"Tell me where the lock is or the Pikachu dies." Lysandre said as he raised his sword.
"No!" The group screamed. AZ's eyes widened as he grit his teeth and struggled on what he should do.
"Very well." Lysandre said as he brought the sword down.
"NO! Stop! I'll tell you." AZ said. Lysandre stopped his sword a fraction of an inch from Pikachu before smiling.
"I knew you could be motivated." The Paladin's let AZ get up before he slowly walked over to a patch of grass and looked down. Lysandre walked over and saw a small keyhole under the grass.
Lysandre put the key in the lock and turned it.
"And so it begins." Lysandre said as the ground started shaking.
"What's going on?" Bonnie said sounding very scared.
"It's happening again." AZ said.
"Look!" Korrina shouted. The group turned to see a massive tower raise out of the ground and raise up several stories high. The tower was made entirely out of light blue and clear crystal with two large horn like crystals on the top.
"What is that tower?" Clemont said.
"I don't know but there is darkness all around it." Red said.
"This is the instrument of our accession." Lysandre said as he walked inside. Several minutes later he reached the top with the group being dragged close behind. On one end of the roof were 3 pedestals. Two larger ones with a smaller in the center.
""What are you going to do Lysandre?" Korrina asked. Lysandre smiled.
"You'll see." Lysandre reached into his coat and took out a large blue Gemstone.
"It's the tear of Reduka Marlen had!" Red shouted. Lysandre raised the tear into the air as it started glowing.
"I call upon thee, legends and guardians of Kalos. Pokemon of Life and destruction. Come to me Xerneas and Yveltal!" Lysandre shouted. The sky began to grow dark as clouds formed over them.
"What did he just do?" Clemont asked.
"He used the tear to summon legendary pokemon." Korrina said. Red and Korrina could feel two extremely powerful pokemon approaching them. A minute later the air shook as two large sphere's of light and energy flew towards them. One blue and one red.
Lysandre's eyes as well as everyone else's widened as the two spheres hit the top of the tower and revealed themselves.
Two massive pokemon stood where the energy sphere's landed. One was a massive black and blue deer like pokemon with yellow antlers that had colors all over them.
"Xerneas, the guardian of life." Lysandre said.
The other pokemon resembled a massive red and black eagle with blue eyes.
"Yveltal the bringer of destruction!".
"The guardians of Kalos!" Korrina said in awe. The two legendary pokemon looked down at the flare members who started baking up.
Lysandre, however, did not. He smiled as he raised the tear of Reduka again as it began to glow.
"Here me Xerneas and Yveltal. I hold a tear of Reduka! You will obey me!" Lysandre shouted. The two Legendary pokemon looked as if they were being hit with a Psychic attack as they stumbled and shook their heads.
"What is he doing?" Bonnie asked.
"He's , taking control of them." Red said. Moments later the two legendary pokemon raised their heads and revealed their now glowing blue eyes.
"Yes, they belong to me now." Lysandre said. Xerneas and Yvelta walked over to the pedestals on the sides and each got on one.
"Bring Aurum forward." Mable came forward and placed Aurum on the ground in front of the pedestals. Lysandre moved the tear of Reduka in front of Aurum as his eyes glowed blue. The Aurum then touched the ground in front of the pedestals as a thick layer of solid gold formed over the pedestals and over the two legendary pokemon.
"Now for the final power source." Lysandre said. He walked over to the last pedestal and place Diancie in it. Aurum then placed a layer of gold over Diancie making it impossible for her to get out.
"Let me go! I know what this is ! My dad told me!" Diancie screamed.
"You will make me a heart Diamond." Lysandre said.
"No! I won't!" Diancie screamed.
"Yes you will!" Lysandre screamed as he held the tear of Reduka in front of her face. Diancie's eyes began to glow blue as she stopped thrashing.
"No! Diancie!" Red screamed.
"Now obey me." Lysandre said. Diancie closed her eyes and held her her hands in front of her face. Moments later a massive heart diamond formed in place in the gold in front of her.
Lysandre's eyes lit up as he saw this.
"Yes, Yes!" Lysandre screamed as the the two horn shaped crystals began to glow red.
"The weapon is active!" Mable shouted.
"The time has come, we now have the ultimate weapon. We can reshape the world in our own image. Protect the beauty of this planet." Lysandre said.
"What is this tower Lysandre?" Korrina said.
"The ultimate weapon. Isn't that right AZ." Lysandre said turning to him.
"What should we destroy first?" Mable said.
"Those who would stop us." Lysandre said. He smiled and raised the tear of Reduka into the air. Moments later the two horn crystals both zapped red energy towards each other as they started to form a sphere of red energy.
"NO! Lysandre stop! You can't do this! You have no idea what this machine is capable of!" AZ screamed in desperation.
"Oh I do." Lysandre said smiling. Red and Korrina felt more dark energy forming above them then they had ever felt before.
"NO! Lysandre please I'm begging you!" AZ screamed.
"Never." Lysandre said. He raised the Tear again as the Sphere of energy flew up and then out away from the tower. Moments later the heart diamond turned to dust as Lysandre turned back to Diancie.
"Another heart diamond." Diancie closed her eyes and began forming another heart diamond.
"Lysandre what did you just do?" Red asked.
"You'll see soon enough." Lysandre said.
Miles away in the hidden Aura guardian enclave a master rushed a balcony where the mentor was standing.
"Mentor!" The master screamed.
"Something terrible has happened. I feel such dark aura growing stronger." Chairon said.
"Mentor we just got word from the guild in Santalune city. Lyandre is the leader of Team flare and he has Diancie!" The master screamed.
"No, then that means." Chairon said before he looked up at the sky and saw a massive burst of red energy flying at them.
"The ultimate weapon has returned. Please Reduka let our brothers stop it as they did before." Chairon said. The energy burst hit the enclave and engulfed it .
Back at the guild in Santalune city Ash had gotten up from the bed and stood next to the doctor.
"There you should be fine no" The doctor started before he looked as if her were hit by something.
"Dear Reduka." he said.
"What's wrong?" Ash asked before he felt it too.
"Something terrible has happened." In the other room Serena saw Eliza and her guard's go white.
"Woah are you guys alright?" Serena asked.
"Contact the enclave!" Eliza screamed. One of the guardians ran off as Ash and the doctor ran in.
"Master Borde!" The doctor screamed.
"We felt it too." She said.
"Guys what's going on?" Serena asked.
"We don't know Serena, but it's bad." Ash said. The other guardian ran back in with a terrified expression.
"There was no response.".
"No, it can't be. They couldn't have." Eliza said.
"Eliza what's going on?" Ash asked. She was about to speak when the television in the room turned on and went static.
"What's with the tv?" The doctor said.
Moments later the static stopped and Lysandre appeared on the screen.
"Lysandre!" Ash shouted.
"People of Kalos, people of the world. I am Lysandre, leader of team Flare. For years this world's beauty has been diluted by people who would take advantage and abuse it. For years I've only been able to watch and do nothing about it. Until today. I am now in possession of the most powerful weapon in the history of mankind. It can wipe out entire armies in one blast. All nations will now pledge their allegiance to me! I will assume my place as King! And as king I will use this weapon to destroy any who would dare threaten this planet's beauty. So this is your final warning, bow down or be destroyed." Lysandre said.
"The ultimate weapon." Eliza said.
"What is he talking about?" Ash asked. Moments later another person appeared on another section of the screen. The person was none other than Alex in his camo uniform.
"Dad?" Serena said.
"This is Lieutenant Colonel Alex Achille of the Kalos army! I hereby order you to leave the tower and surrender yourself or face the consequences!" Alex screamed. Lysandre walked to the edge of the tower and saw a battalion of Kalos army troops, tanks, and pokemon that had surrounded them.
On the ground Alex stood in front of his troops.
"You have five seconds to comply!" He screamed through a megaphone. A pair of Kalos jets flew by the tower and prepared to fire at the top of the tower.
"Four!".
Lysandre smiled as he raised the tear of Reduka into the air and energy formed between the two horns again.
"No! Lysandre don't!" Red screamed.
"Three!" Alex shouted.
"I am king." Lysandre said to the camera.
"Two!".
"Fell my wrath!.
"One!". The burst of energy flew up into the air then came down at the Kalos army.
"What the hell is that?" One of Alex's captain's said. Alex looked up and saw the burst of energy just before it hit the ground in front of him. The ground shook as a bright light enveloped the area around the tower for miles.
"No! dad!" Serena shouted in fear. Ash and the other guardians felt the sensation they felt before.
"No, no , no." Eliza said.
"The hounds of war have come to stop me. They have failed!" Lysandre said as he showed video of the ground below from one of his grunts who was on the ground.
Ash and Serena couldn't believe their eyes, the soldiers and their pokemon had all been turned to stone. The cameraman stopped as he reached the officers and zoomed in on Alex with a terrified expression showing in his face.
"Serena." Ash said as he saw Serena's legs wobble before she fell backwards.
"Serena!" Ash shouted as he ran forward and caught her and held her in his arms. He could feel tears coming out of her eyes.
"He's… He's dead, my dad is dead." Serena said as tears streamed down her eyes and hit the floor. Ash felt more pain and sorrow in Serena than he had every felt before. He could imagine why she felt this way and also felt great pain. Serena's father, her guardian, the man who raised her , was dead.
A tear came down from Ash's left eye and hit the ground beside him as he continued to hold Serena. He raised his head and looked at the television.
"You won't get away with this Lysandre, I'm coming for you."

Yup it's getting darker now, the weapon hasn't claimed it's last victims, and the guardians won't just be knocking team flare members out.
