Ch 67: assault on the tower.
Ash and Diana slowly walked down the forest path towards the massive tower made of crystal.
"So much dark aura. It's almost blinding." Diana said. Ash had a lot on his mind. His partner, bother, mother, and friends were inside the tower and in the hands of Lysandre.
He knew he had to save them , but he wasn't completely sure if the help he was about to get would be reliable. But he had little choice in the matter. If he wanted the plan to work then he would need their help.
As they got closer to the tower they saw a very disturbing sight ahead of them. An army of men made of stone.
"Oh no." Diana said. The two eventually reached the statues up close. They could see the look of terror and helplessness in the expressions of the Kalos soldiers now turned to stone.
Seeing what Lysandre had done to these men only made Ash want to stop him even more. As they got closer to the tower a flare Paladin saw them from high up in the tower. He rushed to the top where he saw Lysandre standing in front of the pedestals.
"Your Majesty, a pair of aura guardians are approaching the tower. One of them is a young woman and another a young man.". Lysandre walked over to the edge of the tower and saw Ash approaching the tower in his black and gold aura guardian robes.
"Ash Ketchum, you finally came. Allow him to enter the tower atrium, have Aliana bring him to me." Lysandre said.
As Ash got close to the tower entrance he noticed a familiar face on one of the stone soldiers. Ash stepped closer to it and realized it was Alex. Diana could see and feel sorrow in Ash as he stared at Alex.
"Ash, what's wrong. Wait is this?" Diana asked.
"Alex, Serena's father." Ash said.
"I know this is hard for you Ash, but we need to keep moving." Diana said. Ash sighed and continued walking. They approached the main entrance and saw 4 team flare grunts each with an electric baton in hand and a hound beside them.
When the grunts saw the two young aura guardians the moved to the sides and allowed them to enter.
Elsewhere in one of the tower's upper levels, Red sat in a holding cell with a door made of solid crystal. He was also restrained by chains tied around his arms. After Lysandre forced him the others to watch the weapon destroy the Kalos army battalion below, he drugged him and Korrina and put each of them in a different holding cell.
Red had just recovered from the effects of the drugs and saw the cell he was in. Unknown to Lysandre or his men, after Red got captured, he had quietly removed the blade from his right hidden blade holder and hid it on his person. Lysandre might have taken his hidden blades but he still had one of the blades themselves.
"Alright time to get out of here." Red said as he slowly moved his body and used his aura to move the blade from it's hiding place to his right hand. Once it was in his hand he used it to tear through each of the chains.
"I don't know what we do to get these blades so sharp, but thank Reduka they do." Red said as he tore through the last chain. Moments later the door to the cell slowly opened as a pair of grunts walked in.
"Alright kid, King Lysandre wants you and your friends back with him at the top." One said as he walked over to him. Red waited until the grunt got close then lunged up and out of the now broken chains before stabbing the blade into the grunt's stomach.
"What the!" The other grunt shouted as Red came forward and slammed his shoulders into the man's stomach, hurling him into the wall before slamming the blade into his throat.
Normally Red didn't want to kill people, but after what he saw team Flare do to the soldiers and how he threatened PIkachu as well as Korrina, he knew there was more at stake.
Red walked out of the cell and saw a chest near the door. He used the blade to break the lock and saw his two hidden blade holders and pokeballs inside.
"Well that's convenient." Red said as he took his things out. It took him a few minutes but he managed to get the blade back in his right hidden blade holder. Much to Red's relief his mega evolution stone was still in his right hidden blade holder.
"Alright now let's find the others." Red said.
Meanwhile Ash and Diana slowly walked into the tower atrium they saw at least 2 dozen grunts and a dozen paladins with Houndooms and Pyroars beside them.
Standing in the center of the atrium was a woman wearing a flare officer uniform. She had short orange hair, a skirt and black goggles over her eyes.
"Welcome to the ultimate weapon, I am Aliana of team Flare. You are Ash Ketchum I presume." The woman said.
"Yes." Ash said.
"Excellent, King Lyandre has been waiting for you." Aliana said.
"I will be seeing him very soon." Ash said.
"Indeed." Aliana said. Diana looked at Ash and sent him an aura message.
"Alright now would be a good time for this distraction of yours." Ash took out the clicker and pressed the button. He waited several moments but nothing happened.
"Get them." Alaina said as the grunts and Paladins stepped closer.
"Uh Ash?" Diana said. Ash took out his hidden blades as Diana did the same. Moments later there were several flashbangs that went off around the room and hit most of the grunts.
"What the?" Aliana said as the room filled with smoke.
"Ash, what's going on?" Diana asked.
"My distraction." Ash said smiling.
"Who's doing this?" Aliana asked.
"Prepare for trouble." Jessie said.
"And make it double." James said as the duo stepped out.
"To protect the world from devistation." Duncan the dragon said as he stepped out.
"To unite all people's within our nation." Isabel of infestation said as she came out.
"To denounce the evils of truth and love." Christian the cleaver said as he stepped out.
"To extend our reach to the stars above." Electric Earl said as he came out.
"Jessie".
"James".
"Duncan."
"Isabel."
"Christian."
"Earl."
"Team rocket blast of at the speed of light." Jessie said.
"Surrender now or prepare to fight." James said.
"Meowth that's right!" Meowth shouted as he came out in between Jessie and James.
"Team rocket!?" Diana said in disbelief.
"The lesser of two evils." Ash said.
"Fair enough." Diana said.
"Team rocket? But how?" Aliana asked.
"It doesn't matter, you're finished!" Christian shouted as he hurled his Boomerangs forward and cut down 4 grunts before they returned to his hands. He then sent out his two Scizor before mega evolving them.
At the same time Earl send out his two Ampharos and mega evolved them. One by one the remaining rocket officers let out their pokemon and unleashed a barrage of attacks.
The atrium became complete chaos as the grunts and Paladins scrambled around to try and regain control of the situation. In the upper levels Red had just assassinated a Flare Paladin and laid on on the ground before closing his eyes.
"Rest in peace." He said. Moments later he saw a group of flare grunts run down another hallway.
"Hurry, team rocket is attacking the atrium!" One shouted.
"Team rocket?" Red said confused.
"Well if they're attacking, then the guards will be distracted." Red said as he slowly moved through the hallways. Several minutes later he entered another room with a pair of grunts guarding the doorway on the other side.
He slowly went to the doorway and then leapt forward with his hidden blades out, assassinating the two men as he hurled them to the ground. When Red looked up he saw a flare officer standing in the center of the room.
The officer had short green hair and green goggles on.
"Well look who escaped." Bryony said.
"Where are my friends!?" Red shouted at her.
"Well one of them is in here." She said as she pointed to a cell door.
"Unfortunately, you'll have to get through me first." She said as she held to pokeballs in front of her before letting out a Bishop and Liepard.
"Alright I choose you Skarmory, Noivern!" Red's pokemon came out and stood between him and the Flare officer.
"Liepard use Sucker Punch, Bishop use Night Slash."
"Noivern use Hurricane into Air slash. Skarmory use Steel wing into Night Slash ." Noivern unleashed a violent and powerful wind that caught Liepard and forced her back. After that Noivern flew at Liapard and slashed her across the face.
Meanwhile Skarmory blocked Bisharp's Nightslash with his metal wings before slashing him across the face with his talons. Both of Bryony's pokemon were hurled back and landed in front of her.
"Get up! Use Shadow claw and Slash!".
"Noivern use Steel wing into Dragon Pulse. Skarmory Leer into Air Slash!". Skarmory flew up and over Bisharp as he tried to Slash the metal bird. At the same time Skarmory blasted Bisharp with Leer, lowering his defenses before flying in from behind and slashing him across the face just as he turned around.
Meanwhile Noivern covered himself with his now metal wings as Liepard tried to slash slash him. Liepard's claws didn't even scratch the metal on Noivern's wings. After the attack failed, Noivern opened his wings and blasted Liepard with a powerful burst of dragon energy.
Bryony's pokemon landed in front of her unconscious. She scowled as she returned them to her pokeballs.
"I win, now if you'll excuse me." Red said as he walked over to the holding cell with his pokemon. Noivern smashed one of his wings into the door forcing it open. However, they saw the cell was empty.
Red and his pokemon turned to Bryony who was smiling.
"Oh did I forget to mention that the prisoners are all with king Lysandre now. Too bad, if you want to save them. You'll have to get to him." Bryony said before she ran off.
"Dam it, I can't go to the top of the tower without help. Which means I need to get out of here." Red said.
Meanwhile back at the base of the tower the guards heard what was going on.
"What the hell?" One said. Moments a Mega Swampert flew forward and hit two of the hounds with Hammer arm as a mega Lucario used Close combat on the other two. At the same time an aura guardian wearing blue robes leapt into two of the grunts and plunged his hidden blades into their chests, as another aura guardian in blue and grey robes did the same.
The two guardians got up and stood next to their pokemon.
"Everyone inside!" Gurkinn shouted as he ran in with his Lucario beside him. Anton and his Mega Heracross ran in close behind. Soon they were joined by well over a dozen guardians and their Mega evolved pokemon.
The atrium began even more Chaotic as the Guardians made quick work of the grunts with their hidden blades. Ash and Diana were back to back as they faced a pair of Paladins.
Diana blocked one of the Paladin's sword with her left hidden blade then dove forward as the Paladin hurled his shield forward at her. Once Diana was at the side of the Paladin she kicked him in the calf and forced him back. Once the Paladin stumbled backwards Diana came forward and thrusted her left forearm inside the Paladin's sword arm holding it in place before she jabbed her right hidden blade through his armor and into his neck.
Meanwhile Ash used his left hidden blade to hold the other Paladin's sword in place. As the Paladin brought his shield arm back to try and bash him, Ash kicked the inside of the man's shield arm.
After doing so the man lurched back slightly before Ash leapt up and smashed his knee into he man's helmet. Just before he did he covered that knee in a layer of aura that kept him from hurting himself as he did so.
The Paladin stumbled as he almost fell onto his back. Ash leapt forward and into the Paladin as he hurled him onto his back and thrusted his right hidden blade into the man's throat.
Ash and Diana then turned to Alaina who was standing at the end of the room. The two approached her.
"Dam you guardians. If you think you're going to stop us from cleansing the world, you're wrong." Alaina said as she sent out a Mightyena and Druddigon.
"I choose you Tyrantrum!" Ash shouted as his massive Dinosaur pokemon came out and roared.
"Blastoise time to battle!" Diana shouted as she let out the massive Kanto starter.
"Mightyena use Crunch on Blastoise. Druddigon use Surf!" Aliana shouted. The wolf hyena ran at Blastoise with her mouth open as the Dragon drew up a total wave and hurled it at Tyrantrum.
"Tyrantrum use Dragon Tail with Ancient power!".
"Blastoise Iron defense into Aqua tail." Tyrantrum's eyes turned violet as he hurled 3 massive rocks into the surf, causing it to split between Tyrantrum. After the Surf was avoided, Tyrantrum sprinted forward and slammed his now Violet tail across Druddigon.
Meanwhile Blastoise tightened his defenses and went into his shell as Mightyena bit down on the now metal shell. The Crunch did minimal damage, as Blastaoise came out and covered his tail in water before he smashed his tail into Mightyena hurling him back.
Aliana grit her teeth as she saw her pokemon get hurled back.
"Fight you fools! Sucker punch and Dragon Claw!".
"Tyrantrum use Stone edge into Dragon tail!".
"Blastoise use Hydropump!". Blastoise raised his cannons and blasted Mightyena with a powerful jet of water. Meanwhile Tyrantrum unleashed a barrage of spiked rocks into Druddigon's wings , making him fall short of Tyrantrum.
Moments later Tyrantrum smashed his tail right across Druddigon's face. Aliana sighed as she saw her pokemon lye on the ground unconscious.
"You'll never stop king Lysandre!" Aliana shouted as she returned her pokemon and ran off.
Ash and Diana turned to see the guardians had secured the atrium. Gurkinn walked up to Ash and Diana with his Lucario beside him.
"The atrium is secure, but the tower is very large and our numbers are few. We'll have to split up into small groups and cover as much area as we can." Gurkinn said to the guardians.
"Gurkinn, where are my dad and Serena?" Ash asked.
"They went ahead, I wanted to go with them but Felix told me I had to help secure the atrium." Gurkinn said. The other guardian that Ash saw talking with his father earlier walked over to them.
"Gurkinn, we may have another problem." He said.
"What's going on?" Diana asked.
"One of the grunts had a radio and I overheard that Lysandre has ordered every remaining team flare grunt to the tower.".
"That's not good, we're too few. We need to get to Lysandre before they get here." Gurkinn said.
"We can keep them distracted for quite a while." Jessie said.
"That we can." Earl said smiling.
"I'll come with you." The other guardian said as he walked out of the atrium with them.
"Alright everyone split into groups of two and stick together." Gurkinn said.
Ash noticed Belloc walk up to Gurkinn.
"I'll go with you Gurkinn." Belloc said.
"I guess you and I are sticking together." Diana said.
Elsewhere in the tower Red was battling a Flare Paladin and two grunts. Red unleashed a burst of aura that knocked the two grunts to the ground and forced the Paladin back.
Red then came forward at the Paladin smashing his left hidden blade into the man's sword and stabbed his right hidden blade through the man's left arm. The paladin grunted as he tried to force his shield up and into Red's face.
Red pulled his hidden blade out and got back as the shield came past him. At the same time one of the grunts tried to strike Red from behind, only to have Red smash his foot into the man's stomach.
As the grunt stumbled backwards the Paladin thrusted his sword forward towards Red. The young aura guardian brought his left hidden blade across, catching the sword and forcing it to the side. After doing so Red slammed his foot into the man's leg making him lurch back.
After the Paladin lurched back Red slammed his other hidden blade into the man's chest. As soon as he did he brought his other arm back and stabbed it into the other grunt's neck as he lunged at him from behind.
After seeing this the last grunt got up and sprinted away as fast as he could. Red knelt down next to the Paladin and closed his eyes.
"Rest in peace." Red said as he got up and rushed down the hallway. At the end of the hallway he saw a flare officer with 4 grunts and 2 Paladins standing next to her.
Red stopped as the flare members all turned to him.
"Well well well, what do we have here." The officer said.
The Paladin's stepped forward with their swords drawn.
"Stand down, you have more pressing matters to deal with downstairs. Go , I'll handle this." The officer said. The Paladin's and grunts went down the stairs as the officer walked closer.
She had short purple hair with a purple set of goggles and orange shoulder pads.
"I commend you for escaping. I am Celosia a Flare officer, I'm afraid I can't let you go any further." She said as she took out two pokeballs.
"I am going to put an end to you people! You're not going to stop me!" Red said as he let out his Aerodactyl and Talonflame. Celosia sent out her Manetric and Drapion.
"Let's start off with Thunderbolt and Poison jab." Dragon raised his claws and rushed at Talonflame as Manetric unleashed a powerful burst of electricity at Aerodactyl.
"Aero use Agility into Wing Attack! Talon flame use Flame charge!". Aerodactyl quickly evaded the incoming the Thunderbolt Before swooping down and smashing his wings into Manetric, hurling him back.
Moments later Talonflame coated himself in fire before flying right in between Drapion's arms and smashed into his face, hurling Drapion back.
"Grr, I won't loose! Manetric use Quick attack into Thunder wave! Drapion Night Slash!".
Manetric rushed forward with incredible speed before unleashing a powerful Thunderbolt at Aerodactyl.
"Ancient power Aero! TalonFlame use Agility into Brave bird!". Aerodactyl's eyes glowed violet as he unleashed several massive boulders down at Manetric. The Boulders were hit by the incoming Thunderbolt , but the electricity had no effect on the rocks.
The Ancient power flew down and smashed into Manetric , knocking him out. At the same time Drapion came at Talonflame with his claws coming down from the center. TalonFlame used his agility to quickly move behind Drapion before flying onto the back of his head ,knocking him out.
Celosia grit her teeth as she returned her pokemon.
"This changes nothing. The king will save this world!" Celosia shouted before she ran off.
Elsewhere on a lower level Ash and Diana were rushing through a hallway with a pair of Flare sergeants ahead of them. The two Sergeants had their pistols out and fired several rounds at the two aura guardians.
Ash quickly created a barrier of aura in front of them absorbing the bullets. After the bullets stopped Ash unleashed a burst of aura that hurled the two Sergeants to the ground. With the two Sergeants on the ground Diana sprinted forward and slammed her hidden blades into the men's throats.
"Come on! Let's keep moving!" Diana shouted. The two rushed up a set of stairs and onto the next level. Once there Ash saw a pair of familiar faces. He saw none other than Winston and Benedict fighting a pair of Flare Paladins.
A trio of Flare grunts tried to assist the Paladins only to be hit and assassinated from behind by Ash and Diana. Moments later Winston blocked one of the Paladin's sword strikes with his arm before jabbing his hidden blade into the man's stomach.
Benedict leapt forward and into the other Paladin, knocking him to the ground before being stabbed by the young guardian's hidden blade.
"Winston, Benedict." Ash said as they turned to him.
"Ash, long time no see." Winston said.
"This place is crawling with team Flare men. We need to keep our eyes open." Benedict said.
"Yes you should." Another voice said.
They all turned to see none other than Mable walk towards them with a pair of Admins beside her in white suits.
"Mable!" Ash said.
"You guardians are foolish if you think you can stop his majesty." Mable said as she let out her Weavile and Houndoom. At the same time to two Admins each let out a Pyroar.
Diana let her Blastoise back out as Ash sent out his Mightyena. At the same time Winston and Benedict let out their Alakazam and Gengar.
"Destroy them all. Weavile use Low sweep on Mightyena, Houndoom use Sludge bomb on Blastoise."
"Mightyena over him and use crunch!".
"Blastoise overpower him with Hydropump!" Blastoise raised his cannons and unleashed a powerful jet of water that tore through the incoming Sludge bomb and continued on to hit Houndoom hard, hurling him back.
At the same time Weavile charged at Mightyena coming in low. Mightyena leapt up and over Weavile wrapping her massive jaws around Weavile's head. As she landed she hurled Weavile up and over before hurling her back towards her trainer.
"Come on, Houndoom use Foul Play. Weavile use Quick attack.".
"Mightyena use sand attack into Take Down!." Mightyena quickly splashed sand all around her as as Weavile quickly made rapid movements towards her. The sand flew all around and managed to hit Weavile in the eyes, causing her to stop and try to get the sand out of her eyes.
Moments later Mightyena leapt up and into Weavile, hurling her back.
"Rapid spin into Skull bash!". Blastoise put himself back into his shell and began rapidly moving around with as Houndoom cloaked himself in darkness and rushed at Blastoise. However, by the time he got there Blastoise was gone. Houndoom tried to pursue, but Blastoise was moving too fast.
After Houndoom missed yet again, Blastoise aimed himself at Houndoom and hurled through the air before smashing into him and hurling him back towards Mable. Moments later the two Admins' Pyroars were also hurled back.
"You'll never stop the king!" Mable shouted as she returned her pokemon and ran off with the two admins behind her.
"Come on let's keep going." Ash said.
"We'll go this way. Good luck you two." Winston said as he and his brother went down another path as Ash and Diana ran up another set of stairs.
Elsewhere in the tower Red rushed down a set of stairs when he reached a hallway entrance area with a flare officer waiting with a pair of Admins beside him.
"We need to get more men blocking the guardians or." The officer said before his admins saw Red coming from behind. Xerosic turned and saw Red coming down the stairs.
"Well, one of his majesties prisoner's has escaped. Men I can handle this, go assist the others." The two admins left as Red stepped closer to Xerosic.
"Destroy him Malamar!" Xerosic shouted as he let out his Malamar.
"Go Gogoat!" Red shouted. Red's Gogoat came out and scratched his hoof against the floor.
"Malamar use Hypnosis, control him!" Xerosic shouted. Malamar's eyes began glowing blue as he sent his Psychic waves at Gogoat. Red quickly created a barrier of aura energy around Gogoat's consciousness. Allowing Gogoat to resist the Malamar's influence.
"So you're going to play like that are we. Very well, Malamar use Psycho cut." Malamar raised his tentacles and unleashed several waves of Psychic energy at Gogoat.
"Gogoat use Razor leaf into Double edge." Red's Gogoat unleashed a thick furry of Ravor leaves that soared through that air and intercepted the waves of Psychic energy flying at him. After doing so Gogoat rushed at Malamar with his horns aimed at the floating squid.
"Dodge it!" Xerosic shouted. The floating squid moved up and over Gogoat as he flew under him.
"Turn around!" Red shouted.
Moments later Gogoat used his improved Agility to turn himself around and fly forward, slamming his horns into Malamar's back.
"Grr. Malamar use Psybeam!".
"Seed Bomb into Vine Whip!" Red shouted.
Malamar's eyes glowed as he formed a ball of energy in front of his face and unleashed it towards Gogoat. Gogoat hurled 3 seeds into the incoming beam of Psychic energy. When the seeds hit they exploded, causing the Psybeam to stop.
"Malamar look out!" Xerosic shouted. As Malamar tried to find Gogoat through the smoke a pair of large vines flew forward and entangled the floating squid.
"Oh no!" Xerosic shouted.
"Vine Whip!" . Gigot hurled Malamar into the ground then back up, then back down into the ground again.
"Destroy him! Use Flamethrower!". The Malamar got up and gave a very angry look as he unleashed a massive jet of fire towards Gogoat.
"Gogoat get under that fire and use Leaf Blade!". Gogoat rushed forward as fast as he could, staying just ahead of the fire.
"Aim closer!" Xerosic shouted. Malamar tried to aim closer but was too late. Gogoat leapt up and slashed Malamar across the face with leaf blade. Moments later Malamar fell backwards with swirly eyes.
"Oh hell." Xerosic said as he returned his Malamar.
"You want to give it a try." Red said taking out his hidden blades.
"Long live King Lysandre!" Xerosic shouted before he ran off.
"No courage in these Flare officers." Red said before returning his Gogoat and rushing down another hallway.
Meanwhile on a lower level Ash leapt forward and knocked a Flare Paladin to the ground before plunging his right hidden blade into the man's chest. Meanwhile Diana blocked another Paladin's sword with her hidden blades before sweeping her right leg across the ground, knocking the Paladin to the ground before she plunged her left hidden blade into the man's neck.
With the two Paladin's dead Ash and Diana rushed into the next area. There they saw Anton and Eliza battling a pair of Flare Paladins. Eliza whipped her robe dart around the Paladin's leg, pulling him to the ground before she hurled a pair of grunts, who were coming right at her, back with a burst of aura.
After doing so Eliza assassinated the Paladin before coming forward and plunging both her hidden blades into the two grunts. Meanwhile Anton locked his left arm inside of the Paladin's before plunging his other hidden blade into the man's neck.
He saw another 2 grunts coming at him from both directions. Anton slammed his fist into the ground unleashing a burst of aura that hurled both men back. He quickly assassinated one as Ash rushed over and assassinated the other.
"Ash. Is that you?" Anton asked.
"Anton good to see you again." Ash said.
"Wait where are Red, and Korrina, and your Pikachu?" Anton asked. Ash sighed.
"Lysandre has taken them prisoner."
"Oh , I'm sorry" Anton said.
"It's alright, we're going to save them today." Ash said. Moments later several footsteps could be heard as the aura guardians turned to see none other than two of the Steel mercenaries with a pair of Flare Admins beside them.
The two mercenaries were Marylin Flame and Ninja Riot.
"Looks like we found the intruders." Marylin said.
"You two! How can you still be working for Lysandre after what you saw he did?" Ash said.
"Doesn't matter to us what he does. He's paying us a fortune to stick around." Riot said.
"Well we're going to stop him." Diana said as she stepped forward.
"I'm afraid we can't let you do that." Marylin said as she let out her Delphox followed by Riot's Greninja. The two Admins each let out a Pyroar as the 4 aura guardians stepped up.
"Go Blastoise!".
"Go Charizard!". Ash and Diana's Kanto starter pokemon came out at Anton let out his Heracross and Eliza let out her Venasaur.
Before anyone could even call out any attacks all 4 guardians touched their mega evolution stones , mega evolving all the pokemon.
Mega Blastoise developed two smaller shells over his arms, each with its own water cannon. The two cannons on his back were replaced with a much bigger cannon that extended forward over Mega Blastoise's head. His eyes had turned red and his ears turned backwards with a small point on his chin.
"Mega evolved pokemon, we're going to need another bonus for this." Riot said.
"Delphox use Psyshock!".
"Greening use water Shuriken."
" Charizard Dodge and use Dragon Pulse!".
"Blastoise , use Iron Defense into Skull bash!". Ash's Mega Charizard flew up far faster than Delphox could unleash her attack and blasted her with a powerful beam of dragon energy.
Mega Blastoise hardened his exterior defenses as the water Shuriken's bounded off his shell. Moments later he aimed his head at Greninja and hurled himself forward.
"Dodge it!" Riot shouted. Greninja leapt up , but was too late. Mega Blastoise slammed his head hard into Greninja's stomach.
"Greening use smokeScreen into Night Slash!".
"Delphox Psychic on that Charizard!". Delphox raised her wand and aimed it at Charizard. Charizard felt a powerful surge of psychic energy surround him.
At the same time Greninja leapt up and hurled a ball of smoke into the ground, that filled the air with a thick cloud of smoke.
"Charizard break free and use a spinning air slash!" Ash shouted. Mega Charizard grit his teeth as he gave everything he had and broke free of the Psychic grip on then spread down at Delphox with his wings spinning with him. As a result the smoke began to clear and Mega Blastoise could see Greninja clearly.
"Rapid spin!" Diana shouted. Blastoise got into his shell and hurled himself at Greninja before slamming into Greninja's chest hard. Moments later Mega Charizard slashed across Delphox's entire body.
Moments later Delphox fell over with her eyes swirly. Greninja landed beside her as the two Pyroars were also hurled back by Mega Heracross and Mega Venasaur.
"We're definitely going to have to get more money for this." Marylin said as she returned her Delphox and Riot returned his Greninja. The two ran off with the admins close behind.
"We'll go after them, you two head up to the next level." Anton said as he and Eliza chased after the flare admins and mercenaries.
"Come on let's go." Ash said. Meanwhile on the next level up Red continued down a hallway where he saw a staircase with none other than Millis Steel standing between him and the doorway.
"I'm sorry but you won't be going any further. I've been paid, you will go back to Lysandre." Millis said as she let out her Chesnaught.
"I didn't come this far to be stopped, even by you!" Red shouted as he sent out his Aerodactyl and Mega evolved him.
"Chesnaught use Pin missile!". The large Chesnaught unleashed a barrage of spikes thorns at Aerodactyl.
"Aero use Steel wing !". Aerodactyl coated his wings in metal then flew in quick, using the metal to deflect each of the incoming pins before smashing his wings into Chesnaught's face hard.
"Dam it, Chesnaught use Rock tomb!.
"Aero use agility into Crunch!" Aero quickly flew forward using his agility to evade each of the incoming rocks. Once he was clear of the last one, Aero bit down on Chesnaught hard.
"Chesnaught use Stone edge!".
"Aero get some altitude!" Aerodactyl flew up high as a furry of spiked rocks flew past him.
"Sky drop!" Red shouted.
Aero turned around and flew at Chesnaught with incredible speed.
"Spikey shield!" Millis shouted. Chesnaught held his arm over his face and and formed a shield over himself.
"Supersonic!" Red shouted. Aerodactyl opened his mouth and unleashed a piercing screech. The supersonic hit Chesnaught and made him confused. Chesnaught stumbled backwards waving his arms around.
"No! Keep your arm up!" Millis shouted. Aerodactyl came in fast and used Skydrop on Chesnaught. Chesnaught hit the ground hard with swirly eyes.
Millis sighed as she returned her Chesnaught and ran down another hallway.
Red returned Aerodactyl then rushed down the stairs. Ash and Diana reached the foot of a staircase.
"There sure are a lot of staircases here." Diana said.
"Come on, we need to keep moving." Ash said before he saw someone rushing down the stairs.
"Wait a minute, is that?" Ash said before he realized it was Red.
"Red!" Ash shouted as he ran up the stairs.
"Ash?" Red said upon seeing him.
"Red you escaped! Where are the others?" Ash asked.
"Lysandre still has them. What are you doing here?" Red asked.
"We're here to stop Lysandre and save you guys. The aura guardians are here in force." Ash said.
"Wait where's Serena?" Red asked.
"I helped cause a distraction in the atrium and she went ahead with Dad." Ash said.
"Hi I'm Diana.".
"Sorry, this is Diana she's an aura guardian. This is my brother Red." Ash said.
"So if the guardians are here, then that means we can stop Lysandre now!" Red shouted.
"Where is he?" Ash asked.
"On top of the tower, I know how to get there!" Red shouted.
" Diana find the others and tell them where Lysandre is. Red let's get up there!" Ash shouted.
"Good luck you guys!" Diana shouted as she ran back and the two brothers ran up the stairs. Several minutes later after making their way through the tower and fighting through several Flare members they reached the top room with a set of stairs at the end leading up.
All around the room were 10 dead Flare Paladins and 6 knocked out Pyroars.
"What happened here?" Ash asked.
"You said Dad and Serena went ahead. Maybe dad did this." Red said.
"I do feel their aura close, which means he must be fighting Lysandre! Come on let's go! Ash shouted as he ran up the staircase with Red beside him. The two reached the top of the tower and saw Korrina, Clemont, Bonnie, and Delia all chained together with Pikachu and Delphox on the ground with their eyes glowing blue.
Standing behind them was none other than Lysandre wearing full knights armor with the red king's symbol in the chest. Standing beside him were a pair of Flare Paladins.
"Welcome, Ketchum brothers." Lysandre said smiling.
"Lysandre! This ends now!" Ash shouted.
"Indeed it does." Lysandre said smiling as he moved revealing two more Paladin's behind him holding a very hurt looking Felix and Serena up as they were chained together.
"Dad!" Red shouted.
"Serena!" Ash shouted. Serena slowly raised her head and saw Ash and Red. Through their aura connection Ash could feel the great amount of fear in Serena's aura.
"Even the great Felix could not defeat me." Lysandre said.
"You and 14 paladins, whom ten are now dead." One of the Paladins said under his breath.
"He has now given me two gifts. One the two of you, secondly, this." Lysandre said revealing the tear of Reduka that Felix had earlier.
"No!" Ash said as he saw almost everyone he loved being held by Lysandre, who now had two tears of Reduka, and command of the most powerful weapon ever made.
Author's note: Yeah I know I told you there would be just one more chapter before the Lysandre face off, but my beta reader talked me into extending it into two chapters and quite frankly he was right, it would have been a bad idea to make this all one chapter.
So I swear the next chapter will be the last of the movie arc. It will!
I also know that this seems a little more like assassins creed than pokemon, but after the next chapter it will be the pokemon league arc so there will be little to no assassins creed.
Besides Assassins creed is awesome, except 3 and Rogue. I hate Shay , that freakin traitor-murderer!
