A/N So I finally updated! Love me :3

Disclaimer: Blah blah blah you know what I'm gonna say.

It was just a normal day at Hogwarts. Well, actually you can't exactly have normal day at Hogwarts, especially with the Marauders running about. So it was a kind-of-but-not-really normal day.

Yes, that about summed it up.

But things began to change a bit at lunchtime. They were subtle changes. But Lily, ever the observer, noticed them right away.

The cups were different. Usually all the goblets were light golden, with small silver gems around the outside. But now…it was the other way. They were silver with golden gems…

Mary reached for her pumpkin juice.

"OI!" Lily yelled, and Mary jumped.

"What was that for?"

"Look! The goblets look different! Look at the color! Look!"

"…Wow, really, Lily? You paid attention to the color of the goblets? You need a boyfriend." Alice giggled.

"I'm serious! I think the Marauder prank result is happening today!"

Marlene squealed loudly, "Oh my god I'm so excited I've been waiting for this moment ever since last week what do you think is going to happen this time I think it's going to be great the Marauders are so amazing aren't they especially Sirius oh my god so what do you think hmmm?"

"I don't know. But I do know one thing-no more sugar for you!" Alice snatched away the frosted cupcakes being squished in Marlene's fist, but Marlene reached over and grabbed a glass of fizzing soda and began waving around the goblet.

"Agh! Stop, stop, stop!" Alice yelled, latching her hand onto Marlene's wrist. She removed the goblet and set it down on the table. "I'm meeting Frank later, and I'd rather not have him see me dripping in orange soda."

Well, it didn't really matter whether Marlene had splashed Alice, because a split second later, all the goblets simultaneously rose into the air, filled themselves with some sort of liquid, and turned themselves upside down. All the contents were spilled onto peoples' heads, and there were drinks everywhere.

Now, Lily had not been paying attention. The moment the conversation had shifted and Alice was busy calming Marlene, Lily lost interest and promptly began daydreaming about her Transfiguration essay.

She had nothing to worry about. Nothing was going to affect her. She hadn't answered the question. It couldn't do anything to her. So HA!

Grinning into her spoon, Lily hummed , feeling like today was the best day ever.

That is, until a huge blob of green-colored goo attacked the top of her head and began sliding it's way into her eyes.

No. NO. NO! Nothing was supposed to happen to her today. She was supposed to be the one laughing at her friends…so why? She looked over to her friends: Alice with pumpkin juice, Marlene-orange soda of course, and Mary had chocolate milk.

Those were their favorite drinks. That must have been the question. But what was this mysterious green substance? It didn't seem edible, much less pleasant enough to be someone's favorite.

And then Lily spotted the Slytherin table. Some girls were screaming, boys (except Crabbe and Goyle, who had no idea what was going on, who were staring at their green pasta with blank faces.) were brushing off green goo from their shoulders to no avail.

Green goo.

Lily had gotten the same punishment as the Slytherins.

The Marauders.

How dare they.

"The Slytherins? Really, Potter?" Lily roared, "Mulciber and Avery were calling me their 'Little Slytherin Mudblood' because apparently I'm 'one of them' just because I got the same result they did! James Charlus Potter, tell me how you did that right now! How did I get the same thing as the Slytherins?"

James cleared his throat professionally. "Well, we didn't just charm the Slytherin goblets. After we did the individual ones, we used Reliqua Poculis to charm the rest of the cups that hadn't been affected. It's been like that the whole time, and you would've found out earlier if you had the ability to resist my charms."

Lily growled, spun around, and sped up the stairs.

Oh, only he could end an informative response by complimenting himself.

Only James Potter.

And Lily smiled.

A/N It's shorter, but that's because it's only half a chapter :)
