A/N: Here we go for the last time…
Disclaimer: I don't own starship
It had been ten years since he'd seen her; Ten years since she'd broken down and left the rangers. Ten years since she faked her own suicide to leave, with close friends escorting her away and Marz and Nord agreed to announce she'd died from wounds from the battle than from a drug overdose, which was actually TicTacs and Saki agreeing to let her friend fake death.
As the leader of the G.L.E.E, Max Krayonder shouldn't really have free time. But for her, he'd make an exception. But as he wandered around the small area of San Francisco that had been rebuilt, the uniformed man wondered if he had the right address. People were walking up and down the streets; carrying groceries, walking dogs and there was even a small street market. Krayonder smiled as he saw about 70% of the people he passed looked like they were Hispanic; with tanned latino skin and brown eyes like his mentor. He was following his GPS, which didn't seem as out of place as he had thought it might've. The world was recovering from the robot wars. Little did these people know, the woman who saved them lived under their very noses.
He passed through a park on his journey. A large statue that looked familiar stood in the park, one of many statues across all parks around the globe. The same statue of Commander Up and Commander/Lieutenant Taz (she never really accepted the promotion herself) standing side by side with guns in their arms and looking like they were in the heat of battle with the words inscripted below:
For the Brave and for the Courageous, For the Loyal and for the Tough, For the Memory of all those who lost their lives in the Robot Wars
Underneath that they had the respectful death dates of both Up and Taz - the Nineteenth of February and the Twenty-first of May. Krayonder sighed as he read it, before remembering the twenty-first of May ten years ago sneaking her out on her "death" date.
"I'm sorry I had to go." She sighed as the pair of you ran down the halls. It was 2 am and you'd had to get her to the docks without any of the guards seeing she was alive. February and Specs had taken control of the CCTV rooms and Tootsie and Mega-Girl had cleared as much as a path as they could.
"I'm sorry I wont ever get to be your Lieutenant." He'd chuckled.
"Visit me some day, huh?" she asked as they ran.
"How'll get th-?"
"I'll send you the address. I want an update on how everyone's lives are before I die."
"You won't die."
"They said that about Up."
Krayonder continued his journey past the park, and walked down two streets until he reached a boulevard called "Crescent Boulevard". He counted the number of houses until he reached number 20. It was painted a beautiful terracotta colour that stood out against the bleak January sky and had some dead plants sitting outside due to the frost that morning (although it was around lunch time). He pressed the door bell and a chime-noise made its way through the house. A minute later, a little girl opened the door.
"Hello?" she asked, nervously.
"Oh, sorry I think I must've got the wrong number, man…" Krayonder's eyes widened. The little girl had bright blue eyes and tanned latino skin. "Is this number 20, Crescent Boulevard?" She frowned.
"Yeah." She looked him up and down with her blue eyes. "You look funny, are you a space-man?"
"Yeah." Krayonder blushed slightly.
"Is it fun in space? Mommy said that people up there called Rangers work and train and kill the bad guys!"
"Yeah, something like that…" Krayonder frowned. "Is your Mommy in?"
"Yes! Let me go and get her!" she slammed the door rather rudely and Krayonder could hear the sound of footsteps running away. Two minutes later, a woman opened the door and her eyes widened.
"So, you're the space man, huh Candy-Ass?" she grinned.
"Taz!" Krayonder went to bear hug her, and she didn't whack him off like she would've done along time ago.
"Don't call me dat, I'm know as Vi now." She frowned, before opening the door wider. "We're having lunch soon if you want to join us." He smiled before making his way through the door.
"Where did you get your daughter?"
"She's a war orphan… from Farm Planet…"
"Don't worry, I wont tell Tootsie." Krayonder smiled.
"I can see you've been promoted." She grinned as they made her way through the hallway, nudging at his uniform he'd hidden under his coat. "Looks nice."
"Should be yours."
"Should be Up's." she sighed. Hanging on the wall was a picture of Up, and Taz drew up close to it as she said that.
"I guess you're known as Vi to stop people from knowing you stopped the robots…"
"Yeah, I said I was a immigrant from Farm Planet, which is where the Pod ended up going." She smiled. "I had fun choosing my farm planet name."
"What is it?"
"Survivor Up."
Krayonder smiled sadly. Taz stared at the picture on the wall.
"Momma! The food's ready!" The little girl called from the kitchen. Taz smiled, before yelling something back in Spanish.
"Let's eat, shall we?" she looked at her guest.
"Of course, Survivor."
"Hey, I told you it was Vi!"
"Sure, sure." Krayonder grinned as he followed her to the table and sat down.
"Honey, this is Krayonder, Krayonder the-"
"SPACE-MAN!" she crowed happily from where she was sitting, opposite the "space man".
Krayonder and Taz talked about various things whilst they ate, whilst Taz's daughter listened intently.
"Momma, you never told me stories from when you were a space-man!"
"There's a lot of stuff I haven't had the chance to tell you yet." Taz replied.
"What's the story of the man who's picture's on the wall?"
"I'll tell you when you're older, sweetie."
"Cool!" she grinned back, before looking at Krayonder. "My Momma was the best Space-Man-Ranger thingie EVER!"
"I know she was."
Krayonder told them everything he could think of: how February and Bug had adopted a demon-child two years ago they'd renamed Roach; how Tootsie and Mega-Girl somehow managed to have children and their lives were greatly "improved" by the addition of their twin girls, Poopin' Corn and Singing Papa; and how he and Specs had been blessed with a baby girl they'd named Lorelai with another baby to come in two months.
"You must be a great father." Taz smiled.
"Yeah, but I should probably begin to head back soon if I want to make Lorelai's bed time." He sighed.
"I'll show you to the door Mr Space-Man if you promise I can come to space one day!" Taz's daughter smiled.
"We can both go, honey." Taz smiled at her. Krayonder smiled. If Taz and Up ever did have a child, she'd look a lot like this girl.
"Of course one day you can go to space, your Momma would love that, right Vi?"
"You'll be an excellente space-man, my little chica." Taz smiled to her daughter, before reaching to get Krayonder's coat of the hook. Taz had grown a little bit in ten years and also grown her hair out so it was shoulder length; however she kept it ties back in a pony tail.
"Say, you never did tell me your name." he grinned to the little girl, as he finished buttoning up his coat and stood in the doorway.
"Well my farm planet name is Jumping Stars!" she grinned. "But Momma calls me Gabrielle!"
Acknowledgments and final A/N:
Here we are. The end. Of my first ever fanfiction. Oh my I feel emotional right now.
First of all I'd like to thank my awesome friend Holly, who'd read the chapters and occasionally give me ideas and also lent her name to the character Holly; also thanks to my friend Jesper who kinda lent his name to the character Jasper although he's not much of a starship fan.
I'd like to thank all my reviewers, current and former:

You guys are awesome and although I wasn't the most consistant of updaters, I would always get reviews and I'm very thankful for that.
I don't really have anything else really planned for a starkid fic in the future, but I may sometimes upload oneshots.
I'd originally planned for Up to be the one visiting, but I realised that would be very complicated, however I might type it up as an alternative ending, if anybody is interested.
Hugs and Butterfly Kisses,
AJ/BlueFeatherStar
