A/N: Hey guys! I'm back! This time it wasn't as long as a wait. I had a lot of inspiration for this chapter. Plus, my mom gave me an early birthday present, which was a keyboard for my iPad. So typing up my story is a lot easier. Anyway, enjoy this chapter!
No One's POV
She let out a muffled moan as she came to. She opened her eyes to be blinding by the single light bulb hanging from the ceiling. She went to move, but soon realized that she was strapped to a metal table, her mouth covered by duct tape. She struggles against her binds as she tried her best to get out of the situation she was in. The single door to the room opened, letting a blinding amount of light cascade into the cement room. She squinted her eyes as the person approached her.
"Why hello there," the person said in a sinister tone that she recognized, "I don't think I ever got to formally introduce myself to you. I'm Vallen." His smile had a cruel undertone to it, one that you just knew had tasted sin. She mumbled behind the tape over her mouth as Vallen gave a mocking pout.
"Oh, where are my manners? I'm standing here talking while you are unable to," he spoke, a wicked tone in his voice. He reached out for her as she tried to move away. She leaned as far as she could before Vallen ripped the tape from her mouth. She sucked in a breath of pain before letting it out. Vallen smiled devilishly as he leaned closer to her.
"You're strong. Normal girls would've at least let out a whimper of pain, but you didn't. I can see why Eddie likes you." Patricia glared at him before turning her head away. Vallen, obviously irritated, roughly grabbed her chin and made her face him.
"Don't give me sass girl, I invented sass," he growled at her.
"Don't touch me," Patricia spat ball as she moved her face from his grasp.
"You're feisty, I like that," he grinned," Eddie has always had good taste in woman. I mean come on have you seen KT and Nina, if they weren't such bitches they'd be perfect. But you...you're already perfect. You know, I've always had a thing for the women Eddie chooses." Vallen gave her that dark look again before sprouting fangs. I'm not afraid, I'm not afraid Patricia chanted in her head. Vallen drew towards her neck as she closed her eyes and bit back a scream. It wasn't until she felt Vallen's teeth break through her skin that a scream was ripped from her throat.
"Where are we going?" Cassie questioned as the group of four ventured down the quiet halls of the school.
"We need to go to the Industries. We need to figure out the last place Vallen was seen or where his hideout is," Eddie answered. The young trio nodded as they continued quietly down the hall. Cassie messed with her nails, her mind devoided of any thoughts. Dexter outlined the swollen skin around his eye, hissing every now and then at the pain. Erin's mind worked like a fast acting computer as she tried to figure out where everything went wrong.
"Eddie?" Erin questioned quietly.
"What?" he deadpanned.
"We really appreciate that you're letting us helpyou," Erin spoke softly.
"Don't get all worked up. This was your guys' mistake, you shouldn't have let them get away. A hunter keeps fighting no matter what. You should've kept fighting even if that means that you would've gotten captured," Eddie said as he opened the door to his dad's office. Erin placed a hand on Eddie's shoulder, stopping him from taking a step into the office.
"You need to calm down. The Anubis residents aren't suppose to know about of lives, our true identifies, you can get in a lot of trouble if your dad or Mr. Felix finds out," Erin advised. Eddie paused before taking in a deep breath. The trio was silent as Eddie pushed away the suit of armor and descended down the stairs.
Her head felt fuzzy, like someone had taken a sledge hammer to her head. She went to move her hand to her head, but felt her wrist restrained.
"Great," she mumbled. Sadley, she was used to things like this so the first thing she did was look for weaknesses. She pulled against the ropes that tied her to the chair.
"You won't find any loop holes," a voice broke through the silence.
"Vallen," she sighed, "I should've known it was you." The vampire stepped into the light as he wiped a red liquid from his mouth. "Please tell me that's pie."
"Sorry love, I can't lie to you, but I will say it was dessert." Nina rolled her eyes as Vallen licked his lips clean of blood.
"I can't believe you kidnapped us."
"Nina dear, who else could capture you so easily?" he questioned as he tilted his head to the side.
"Eddie," she deadpanned. He let out a snort before approaching her.
"That doesn't count," he sighed.
"Are you gonna kill me now?" Nina questioned as she lazily rolled her head towards him.
"I would never do that to you Nina," he insisted, "Besides, I need you. You're very special to the Cup of Ankh."
"How?" she inquired with a raise of an eyebrow.
"Wouldn't you love to know?" he smiled sinisterly.
"Edison," Mr. Sweet greeted with surprise.
"Where does Vallen reside?"Eddie asked.
"Why?"
"Vallen's goon broke into the house and they have Nina and KT," Eddie informed his father.
"You seem to be quite distraught for just Nina and KT being missing," Mr. Sweet said as he looked his son up and down.
"Well then I'll get traught," Eddie replied sarcastically, crossing his arms in the process
"Edison," Eric Sweet warned.
"Listen her Sweetie, I just need the Industries' computer, not you," Eddie said.
"Everything's at your disposal," Mr. Sweet said, waving his arm around. Eddie nodded before taking a seat at a computer.
Her hair covered her face, blood staining the pale chunks that clung to her cheeks. She slowly came to, her vision blurry.
"Wakey wakey sleepy head," a female voice teased. She looked up, a short girl with dark hair filling her vison.
"Who are you?" she asked, fear lacing her voice.
"Now Amber, if I wanted you to know who I was I would tell you," the female sing-songed.
"What do you want from me?" Amber questioned. The female smirked, asking a step closer to the blonde.
"At first we just figured we'd take you because you're friends with Eddie, but then you escaped," the female started, "You aren't like other girls Amber, we thought you were just close to Eddie, but you're special. You're just like Patricia, you have no idea what you are. No idea of the power you hold."
