kagome POV:

'Kami I'm bored. I wish I brought my bag with me.' I thought as I turned yet another corner.

I'm hopelessly lost, I know this but I figured that if I kept turning in the same direction, I would end up back in the dojo area. But no, I haven't seen a hint of life since the koi pond. I turned another corner and came to a wooden door marked 'south field'.

So naturally I pushed the door open and came to a big, green, plush field with woods around the edges.

Sitting in the middle of that, not even 30 feet away, was the biggest stable I had ever seen. Then again I live in the city so it's not like I've actually seen one…

I felt a rush of adrenaline go through me 'I can escape! This is it!' I sprinted to the stable, almost tripping over my own two feet in my hurry, I don't know exactly where I am but that doesn't matter as long as I can get to Kaede's village, and eventually the bone eaters well.

'I'm really glad Sesshomaru never thought to put a shield around his mansion, but he really should for future times, you know, in case a prisoner should try and escape.' I got the saddle thingy onto a horse white as snow, it was actually a very beautiful creature, and I almost felt bad for using it for my escape, almost. I had just mounted myself onto the horse when I spotted a fox demon perched up on a tree branch in the direction I was about to head in.

'Of course it couldn't be this easy, life must really hate me.'

"Um, hi there, who might you be?" yelled up to the demon.

He didn't say anything for a few seconds; he just sat there looking at me. He was well hidden In the leaves of the trees and was pretty handsome in a rugged 'don't screw with me' kind of way. He had black shaggy hair that reached the top of shoulders which were broad, possibly due to the muscles I'm sure he has, he looks like one of Sesshomaru's soldiers if I had to take a guess. He had a funny looking face though; maybe exotic is a better way to describe it, his face was triangular shaped, with bright orange eyes. He-

"My name is Daichi, and you are the human yeah?" he has a super deep voice! He had an American accent though, which is weird because I don't think America has been discovered yet. Again with the human nonsense!

"My name is Kagome. Are you here to keep me from escaping?" it would be such a shame to purify-

"Nope" Aca-scuse me?

"What? You're not going to take me back to him?" I asked stunned

"You humans are really hard on the hearing I see. Sesshomaru told me to follow, observe, and report back to him, any of that sound like me taking you back? Personally I would head East; there is a village that's about a day or two away from here, nice people there. Besides, you're the only human that he's ever brought here other than Rin, and even she eventually had to go to the village to the East, but the fact that you would try and escape means you're either really stupid, or really smart, and that you have a plan. I think you're going to be great fun!"

on one hand I'm upset because he insulted me—twice. But he's helping me so…"Do you really think I could do it?" I asked, not that I really need his approval or anything, but it would be nice.

"Not if you don't stop wasting time and ride. Ride fast and hard because he knows you were heading to the stable.."

I didn't even have time to be upset because he jumped behind my horse, slapped its rear and I was propelled forward.

Daichi's POV:

'Give her a day, Sesshomaru will catch up and drag her back' I stood on the ground watching her as she rode off. One can easily see why Sesshomaru has taking such a liking to her. Not that he's said anything, but I've known the old dog for over a hundred years and old boy has just the tiniest crush on her, but all love starts out small. I just can't wait until she comes back, I feel sorry for the servants though, I have a feeling they're going to have their work cut out for them when she comes back.

'Well, I guess it's time to go get Sesshomaru, I can't wait to see the look on his face when I tell him that she stole his favorite horse! Kami I love my life.'

I cant believe school is almost here.! And the fact that I'm happy about it tells you guys how boring my summer was lol.

I think I'm going to keep the chapters short like this, that way I won't stress over making it super long or anything.

says that I wrote like, nine

pages or so, it'll end up being maybe a half a page on here and its frustrating. -.-
