Batman stared intently at the screen of the Watchtower's computer. He had been that way for the last two days trying to find where the team had disappeared.
"Batman, you should really take a break." Superman tried, earning a growl.
"Just because you don't care what happened to your son doesn't mean I don't care about mine or the others." Batman snarled.
"I never said you didn't-"
"Clark if you don't leave I swear to god you'll be finding kryptonite everywhere until we do find them." Threatened the Bat. Superman wanted to say something in response but decided against it. He did care about what happened to the team even if he didn't see Superboy as a son. With a sigh the man of steel left the brooding bat. He entered the other room where the others waited.
"No luck." He sighed. Wonder Woman stopped her pacing to look at the man.
"Did you even try?" she demanded. Clark knew she was just as worried as the others so he spoke gently to the Amazon,
"You know I did, his only response was that if I didn't leave him alone he would place Kryptonite everywhere."
"Do you think we should have J'onn…?" Green Arrow trailed off. Yes they were all worried about the kids but if Batman continued like this then he would end up in the med bay.
"I do not think that would be wise." Aquaman spoke up.
"Then what do we do?" demanded Canary.
"I'll go talk to him." Flash spoke for the first time. Canary almost wanted to protest the idea since the two men were taking the disappearance of the team the hardest. Before she could though Barry had taken off.
"I said leave me alone." Bruce growled dangerously.
"Since when have speedsters ever left someone alone?" Barry joked weakly.
"What now?" sighed the brunette in annoyance as he continued to work.
"Well right now they're debating on whether or not to have J'onn knock you out so you don't end up hospitalized." Bruce sent the other a glare. Holding his hands up Barry sighed,
"Hey I'm just telling you what's going on." Slowly lowering his hands Barry looked Bruce in the eye.
"You really should take a break."
"I'll take a break once I get my son back." Bruce stated as he looked back to the computer.
"Bruce," Barry started getting annoyed, "You won't be able to get him back if you end up in the hospital! Taking a few minutes to take care of yourself is a whole lot better than ending up in the bay for god knows how long." Bruce looked back to the blonde. The two stared for sometime before Barry's features softened. Worry and fear were clear in the usually stoic man's eyes, and Barry was positive he had a matching look. Barry placed a hand on Bruce's shoulder as he sighed,
"Look, I want them back as much as you do, go get something to eat then get some rest. I'll take over until you get back okay?" Reluctantly Bruce nodded and stood. He stared at the screen for a few more moments before he turned to leave.
"Bruce, Dick is fine. He's a smart kid; you've trained him well. And you'll see when we get them back that they're fine." Barry called as he started working on the computer, fingers flying across the board.
"Yeah…" Bruce trailed off as he left, his thoughts not only on his son anymore but his nephews as well, "But what about the others?"
A.N: So short take on what the mentors are going through. Sorry if it isn't that great, I'm still trying to get through my writer's block plus I'm exausted. I have not been sleeping right. Well next chapter will have the team again. Hopefully it won't be too long before I post again. And thanks for all the ideas!
