I apologize for not updating for so long. It's just that … I've been busy with all the entrance exams and my best friend's birthday is coming up. I have to prepare and all.
Reading the reviews got me thinking that maybe I should also show the rest of the First Generation Vongola Family. After all, this is a crossover fanfic. Also, I've decided to write this chapter in third person because … well, Giotto's not in his own dimension, so he won't be able to narrate the things going on in there. And … well, you'll see!
Anyway … I'm really REALLY sorry for the very VERY late update.
Disclaimer: I do not own Katekyo Hitman Reborn and Fairy Tail.
Disappearance of Vongola Primo Part 1
The Other World
In Earth time …
It has been a day since Giotto was last seen in his office. G and Alaude have suspected that maybe their boss finally decided to visit the old man, so they just brushed it off. Well, that was until they held their afternoon meeting as part of their daily routine. All of the six guardians have gathered in the meeting hall in order to discuss strategies for the upcoming battles.
"It sure is unusual for Primo to be late in a meeting!" Asari Ugetsu started with his usual gentle tone.
"This sure is troublesome …" Lampo butted in lazily as he slouched on his seat. "Might as well sleep while he's still not here …"
"For whatever he is doing," Knucle said. "I'm sure that it is the will of God."
"He's just probably with Talbot," Daemon Spade guessed as he chuckled and looked at G and Alaude. "He must be following your advice for the good of all."
Alaude looked at Daemon Spade with a straight look. "It must be it."
The guardians started conversing amongst themselves except G, who was deep in his thoughts. As Giotto's childhood best friend, he must have known him like the back of his hand.
"Isn't it strange?" G asked his fellow guardians with a serious expression. "Primo never misses a single meeting."
The guardians looked at the redhead and were put deep into their thoughts as well— to the point when even Lampo stopped slouching. What the storm guardian told them is true. Giotto never missed a meeting, not even when he first went to Talbot to cure his motion sickness.
In Earthland time …
The whole guild was having a celebration for the promotion of their newly promoted member, Giotto; however, it is strange that the guild is celebrating for someone who came home early simply because he wasn't in the mood to party. Much to everyone's confusion, the Master also left early. The old man wasn't the kind to miss a party, but nonetheless, the whole guild still celebrated Giotto's promotion.
"To Giotto!" Natsu cheered proudly as the others followed the Dragonslayer's example.
Back to Giotto's POV …
I suddenly sneezed as I was making my way home, but I decided to just brush it off. I stopped walking and sighed. Leaving the guild was not the right thing to do. I mean … I should've just put on a mask and pretend like nothing happened during the promotion even just for a second—
"Giotto," Someone called me from behind. I turned and saw Master with a serious expression.
"Master …" I muttered.
In Earth time …
The guardians decided to drop by Talbot's and check if their boss really is with the old man. They opened the secret door and descended the staircase.
"Talbot," G called out.
The old man came out from the dark with a smile on his face. "Well, if it isn't the First's guardians! You must be looking for him."
"Yes," Asari Ugetsu calmly answered the old man. "If you would be so kind to tell us where he is?"
There were a few minutes of silence before the old man spoke again with a serious expression. "He disappeared."
The guardians stared at him with disbelief. After all, that's the most unlikely thing to happen. The First isn't one to go without a word. Knuckle and Asari started asking Talbot questions. Lampo sat on the floor lazily while stating how old man's jokes are boring and technically, not funny. Daemon Spade and Alaude didn't believe what the old man has told them.
"If you don't believe me, why not ask your storm guardian?" Talbot told the guardians.
All of them looked at G and saw the straight expression on the guardian's face.
"What Talbot said might be true," G started. "Giotto might have disappeared and is probably in another world."
The guardians looked at G as if he was telling a joke. That was until G decided to tell them the last time Gitto disappeared.
G continued. "It was 11 years ago when an incident similar to this happened to him …
Primo was on a riding their car with his mother as they were making their way home. It was then when suddenly, the car lost its control and it went straight into the cliff just beside the road. The police started investigating the incident. The corpse of Giotto's mother was recovered, but Giotto's body wasn't, so everyone concluded that Giotto did not survive the accident.
After 4 days, Giotto suddenly showed up. He was sort of beaten up and technically, scratched. Also … there was an unknown insignia on the right sleeve of his black shirt. He and I had a talk afterwards …
'After mom and I crashed, I sort of saw a light. The next time I woke up, I was taken care of by a dragon called Igneel.' is what he told me.
I told this to his dad, so his dad decided to bring him to Talbot. After that, he can't remember of anything except from the light he saw that day.
I'm not really sure … but I think it's happening again."
"That might be impossible," Alaude said. "But we have to hold on to even the smallest possibility."
"We'll figure this out," G finished.
I don't like this come back of mine, honestly.
