Disclaimer: I don't own inuyasha.
Sesshomaru POV:
I stand in the center of the little human village growing tired and angry at the slew of humans that are determined to end my life, they obviously are unaware of who they are challenging.
"Ignorant humans. They honestly think they have the strength to even touch this Sesshomaru. Pathetic." I thought as I flung yet another human across the village center.
"This is useless, where is the miko this is the closest village to the mansion she should be here. Perhaps she went to the next village farther east? But that would be a stupid decision, even for her." I thought angrily. The humans finally had a pause in their attack, allowing me to let my eyes roam over the remains of their home.
"Sesshomaru"
it was quiet, but not quite enough since I still heard it. I looked to human that had the audacity to say my name without the honorifics, fully intending on killing them. What I saw … upset me?
The miko had tear streaks down her face, and blood on her hands, and her eyes, were filled with fear and anger.
"Anger almost never leaves her, she is mine and she will acknowledge the fact" I snarled as I walked towards her, already planning how I would make her submit.
Kagome POV:
"Kagome why is lord Sesshomaru coming here? Why is he here in the first place? Oh kami Kagome what have you gotten yourself into?" I heard Sango whisper frantically to me. But I was unable to respond, Sesshomaru had all of my attention. He continued walking to us, to me in long purposeful strides all the while never taking his eyes away from mine. And I wasn't sure whether or not I should run away from him, or run to him and purify him for killing almost half of the village population.
"Kagome!" Sango yelled.
"Go Sango I'll be fine, I think." I tried to reason.
"Go? You want me to leave you alone with the arguably most powerful demon in the land stalking towards you as if you took his favorite sword? Have you finally gone mad?" Sango screeched at me, waving her arms about as if she herself had in fact, gone mad.
"Seriously go! You don't have much time you need to get Kekade, he won't kill me." I tried to reason once again, he was getting closer, and his eyes were still red he is probably really mad right now.
"oh my kami, you did something stupid didn't you?" she accused.
"I swear I will tell you later, just please, go!" I yelled, shoving her in the direction I hope was the way to Kekade's hut. She must have seen something in my eyes, because she finally turned and ran away. With her going to safety, I turned back around to where I last saw Sesshomaru—only to find nothing but dead bodies and fires slowly dying out.
"This is so not good. Nope, not good at all, where is the fuzz ball?"I thought to myself panicking because, who wants to die by some huge dog demon that wears his tail as a scarf? I turned left and right, yet Sesshomaru was nowhere to be found and I didn't know whether to run to the next village, or stay and help Sango with the clean up.
To bad that choice was made for me, one moment I was standing outside Sango's hut door, and the next I was slammed up against a tree with both of my arms suspended above me, and Sesshomaru's blood shot eyes staring straight into mine.
"You are mine, you belong to me. You do not steal my horse, you do not go to a village, and you do not leave the mansion. You are mine, and you will learn your place, bitch." He snarled at I know that any other sane, normal person would be cowering at the sight of the almighty lord Sesshomaru growling in their face, but I'm not normal, and I'm sure as hell not sane. And right now, all I feel is anger and defiance, how dare he say I was his. His? I belong to no one but myself, and anyone who calls me a bitch, deserves to be put in their place. But being five foot four and weighing only one hundred and fifteen pounds means that beating up a six foot two demon would be kind of difficult, and then there's the whole 'pinning me to a tree' thing.
So since I can't put him in his place physically, I'll do it verbally.
"Yours? Ha! I don't know how you think, but having some green toad and witch come to my home and drug me, then kidnapping me, and then holding me prisoner in that mansion of yours doesn't make me yours. It makes me a prisoner! And bitch? Really, the almighty Lord Sesshomaru has stooped so low as to insult a human! Well guess what? I'm leaving, and seeing how you don't own me, you can't stop me!" I finished with a shout, my chest heaving because damn that was a lot. My but victory was short lived, for then the hand that was holding my arms above me tightened, and his other hand shot up to grip my jaw. But when I finally made eye contact, instead of seeing bloodshot eyes, I saw his golden orbs, and instead of seeing a frown, I saw a smile.
"You're not going anywhere." He stated simply, the smile still on his face.
"You can't keep me here, Sesshomaru!" I snarled back at him. He then leaned, almost as if he were to kiss me, our lips just a small space away, and then he stopped.
"You're mine, I can do with you as I see fit." He breathed.
And then it all went black…again.
