Two weeks later and life was finally returning to normal, well normal for the Winchesters anyway. There had been a lot of disposing of bodies after the big showdown with Bea and the darkness. Such was the devastation to the cemetery where body parts lay scattered around that in the end they decided to salt and burn the whole area in an effort to destroy as much of the evidence as possible. Sam in particular had throughly enjoyed watching it burn.
As for Bea, they gave her a send off worthy of a true hunter.
So two weeks later they stood leaning against the impala and looking out over a lake, finally allowing themselves a beer and a break.
"I still can't believe she went to heaven?" Dean broke the silence
Cas walked to the waters edge as he spoke "She sacrificed herself to save everyone. It was never her fault who her father was"
"So much for the sins of our fathers" Sam shook his head smiling
"She saved us all so took her rightful place in heaven"
"Any chance you could pop in and check on her Cas? Make sure she's really alright?" Dean asked never taking his eyes off the water.
"I have visited Bea's heaven a few times already" Cas looked at Sam and Dean's relieved faces as he shifted uncomfortably
"Is she alright?" Sam asked sensing the change in his body language
"She is Sam. Her cabin..."
"Wait her what!?" Dean stood and looked at Cas "her cabin is her heaven? She hated that prison!"
"But in her heaven it sits at the foot of a hill and the ocean lays before it, believe me when I say that it truly is a beautiful place. It's just that..."
"Spit it out Cas, is everything ok?"
Avoiding eye contact Cas explained "I will not go there often as when I do...when I do I nearly always find her mid fornication and I never thought I'd see certain parts of you that I've seen while there Dean"
Dean almost choked on his beer and Sam laughed out loud.
Catching his breath Dean shook his head but when he looked up he was smiling "So, I'm her sexy heaven. That's my girl"
"Most of the time" Cas interrupted in his usual tactless tone "but occasionally she's Sam's girl" It was Sam's turn to choke on his beer as Dean stared at Cas open mouthed "and very uncomfortably once she was mine and it is very disturbing to witness ones self in certain positions with somebody they were trying to save a few weeks ago"
Cas turned to face the silence that had met his revelation and found the boys both staring at him wide eyed. Sam's shoulders began to shake as he tried his hardest to suppress his laughter. Dean rolled his eyes and shook his head exasperatedly as a small smile worked its way onto his face.
Raising his face to look up at the sky he lifted his bottle of beer in a toast and sighed "That's my girl"
