Telekinetic violence and mild choking, and even more deaths.
Wean - Scottish term for kid or childish brat
The teenager was apparently dreaming, walking along corridors that felt familiar, yet this was a first time she'd dreamed this place. But there was something off about it, something that was making her senses and instincts go off the scale. She came across a door and stopped, staring at it, a feeling of danger coming from it. However curiosity got the better of her and she walked through the door without opening it. That dangerous feeling heightened but the room was mostly dark. It was actually a bedroom and she could see two lumps in the bed. Somebody was sleeping in here. "Whoops!" Jaime uttered, face going red. She didn't mean to intrude. She was about to leave when one of the lumps stirred and sat up. The woman had light brown hair and she looked half asleep.
That was until she looked at where Jaime was standing. Her eyes widened and she screamed, Jaime frowned feeling her terror. What was she screaming for? The other lump in the bed shot straight up. "What are you screaming about woman?" The man said and Jaime covered her mouth with her hands, eyes wide, stumbling back to hide against the wall. 'Ghost!" The brown haired woman screamed, pointing at where Jaime stood. "Ghost!" The man looked at the so-called ghost and frowned, while Jaime shivered. He turned on the lights and all of her senses and instincts were going haywire again. "Who the hell are you?" He asked before turning to the screaming female and rendering her unconscious. Jaime shivered again. She couldn't believe it, this wasn't happening! For the love of sanity she was Projecting. To the Master of all people! In the Year That Never Was. How was that even possible? She really needed to wake up. Now would be a good time to wake up!
The Master was out of bed now and he had his Laser Screwdriver with him. "I'll ask you again, Ape, who the hell are you?" 'Wake up, for Pete's sake wake up!' "I'm the Ghost of Christmas Past...wooooo!" She suddenly said and the Master narrowed his eyes. "I'm here to show you the error of your waaays!" She always liked the Muppets version of A Christmas Carol. It's the only one she'd ever seen. "Nice try, Ape," he pointed the Laser at her. "Now you better tell me who you are! Or I'll shoot you." Eyes wide Jaime continued to will herself awake. It was taking far too long! 'Wake up, wake up, wake up!' "Okay, you had your chance." "WAKE UP!" She shouted and just as he pressed the switch on his Laser Jaime woke up screaming.
She sat up straight, gasping for breath and forgetting for a moment where she was. Had she really Projected to the Master? Like seriously? And from the future too? She really wanted to believe it was just a bad dream. A really bad dream. She stood up and shivered, folding her arms. It was rather windy tonight...and cold. Especially from this height. But the handy thing about Chameleon Clothes was that they had an inbuilt heating system. And they also changed into warm winter clothes. Jaime wished she had worn these on the Titanic. Walking to the edge and leaning against a wall the teenager looked down on London, doing her best to ignore the headache she had.
It was still the 21st Century but now it was 2018 and Jaime had taken to perching on top of The Shard. The view of London during the daytime was amazing but at night was when it got super amazing. Down below with all the light pollution nobody would be able to see much of the night sky. Except things were different on the Shard. She could see all the stars in the Solar System. Digging into her pocket Jaime pulled out the bottle of painkillers, except now it was just an empty bottle because she'd used the last of her painkillers the other day. With a sigh Jaime dropped the bottle and watched as it rolled off the edge.
Maybe it was a good time to move on anyway because she'd been in London for five weeks and she couldn't help it. She had taken to saving people who were in trouble or about to be hurt, even saved a suicide jumper from falling to his death, not that he was grateful about it. But doing things like that gets you easily noticed. And on one of her hidden walks in London she'd come across a newspaper with a big screaming headline on the front. 'The Black Bullet Latest, Foils Bank Robbery'. At first she wondered who this 'Black Bullet' was until she realised ten minutes later that the Black Bullet was her! And that meant getting some possible unwanted attention from certain people...like the Doctor.
Jaime took a couple of steps back and did a running jump off the top of The Shard. At first she fell but the wind soon took her and she was gliding above London. And in order to open a Portal she turned her fire on. If anybody were to look up at that very moment they would have noticed what appeared to be a giant bird made of fire. Thankfully it was past two in the morning and there was hardly anybody about. Opening up a Fire Portal in mid-air the teenager glided through it...
...and tumbled out of the other end onto wet sand with an 'oof'. She could hear a loud roaring noise and when she looked up her eyes widened. There was a wall of water heading straight towards her and instinct told her she needed to get away, fast, very fast. Senses told her it was 2004 on the 26th of December. The 26th was Boxing Day. She gasped. Boxing Day Tsunami! She was about to make a quick escape until she felt fear and surprise. To her left was a boy of about three or four. Oh no! She couldn't just leave him. Quickly scrambling to the boy Jaime grabbed him and Teleported away just as the huge wave of water reached them.
They re-appeared further up the beach on the boardwalk where it was dry but instinct told her the waves weren't going to stop, that bad feeling niggling at her. She also could feel people dying, drowning. Just like on the Titanic. Jaime crouched in front of the boy who was amazed and looking at her. "Are you okay?" She asked him but it seemed he didn't speak the same language. Looking back down the beach she saw the waves were still coming. It wasn't going to stop. After seeing all the footage of he Japanese Tsunami she knew she had to get to higher ground. "Come on, we gotta go!" And using her strength she picked the boy up and ran, finding the road. It was a lot harder to run while carrying a three year old boy in her arms and the wave was gaining. She she used Teleport Dash to move faster. It worked too and she got to higher ground within minutes.
Despite the bad feeling she was getting instinct told her she was safe. So now she was aimlessly walking around the holiday resort of where-ever she was while holding the little boy's hand. She could still feel his amazement towards her. The worst thing about this though? She wasn't sure if his parents were still alive or that they've been swept away. Jaime wasn't very good at playing babysitter and by the time one of those refuge centres had been set up she led him to a free bed. He was scared and traumatised and she barely knew what to do so she made him sleep and silently exited the refuge centre.
She felt guilty for leaving him alone but she couldn't speak his language and neither could the boy understand her. Once again she was walking around aimlessly, feeling a lot of sad emotions. She wanted to get out of here but she couldn't find a close enough TARDIS to connect to and as the day wore on the sad emotions got worse, turning into desperation. It was far too upsetting, then suddenly she found a TARDIS to connect to. It felt different but she didn't care. Jaime connected to it and Teleported.
Jaime didn't recognise this console room and this TARDIS felt weird. The console room had brown walls with blue and orange hexagonal round things, the roof was very high. The control panel was on a raised platform and on the other side of the room was a very comfortable looking sofa. Very wide. Perhaps she was in a future incarnation of the Doctor's TARDIS. And this one was currently in flight because the Time Rotor was moving, though she didn't question why it was humming quietly. This was no good, she couldn't really walk out into space could she! Nor did she know how to land a TARDIS. Jaime began her search for another TARDIS and did find another close by. So she connected to it and was about to Teleport when the console beeped and out popped a sleek looking green and yellow object from a small compartment. "Wait...what's this?" She had the weird urge to pick it up. "Okay." She walked over to the console and took the thing out of the compartment. It was a Sonic Screwdriver with a yellow light. "Why did you give me this? I don't need it!" Then again, due to the nature of her brain haemorrhage she'd lost the ability to use Cyberkinesis. Well, that and several other things. And that made her feel rather sad because it didn't really make her a full Omni-Psychic anymore. "Alright, fine." Jaime took the Sonic and put it in the pocket of her trousers. "Thanks!" And she Teleported away to a different TARDIS...
...and re-appeared into the Coral console room. But something was wrong. The TARDIS was in flight and there was a glowing gold figure stood next to the console, so bright she had to squint. Then she realised what it was. Jaime screamed in fright, fell to the floor and scooted back against the railing, shivering in fear. Bad Wolf turned to her, eyes glowing golden. "You are not supposed to be here, Omni." The Omnipotent Being told her, voice sounding ethereal and double. "But I will protect you!" "I'm sorry," Jaime croaked fearfully. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry..." She closed her eyes because she didn't want to look at the Being any longer. "Go back to my Doctor." Bad Wolf told her. The TARDIS landed and the door opened. Without another word Bad Wolf Teleported outside. Jaime yelled in pain and curled up, feeling millions of hateful emotions. Hateful emotions that hurt so much. She sobbed, realising there were Daleks outside. She had to get out of here before the Doctor came back with Rose. Soon enough that hateful hurt eased off and disappeared. Without even thinking she quickly connected to a TARDIS and Teleported.
This time she was in, what she now knew, an older console room. Perhaps the First Doctor again. Bringing up her Unnoticeability as she gained her feet the teenager walked towards the door, then frowned. Should she walk through the door...or open it? She could sense from the TARDIS that she did not want her to walk through the door again. It made her feel bad. Jaime opened the door and stepped out into a futuristic looking corridor. Where-ever she was it felt very unusual. And dangerous. Very dangerous, she could feel that. Further along a corridor and in a room she could hear voices and what felt like shielded emotions. Who would want to do that? And how? Curiously she followed the voices and came to a halt, eyes wide. It was the Doctor, the Second Doctor and...he seemed to be on trial. Hold on! Those other men were Time Lords. Actual Time Lords other than the Doctor. Jaime gasped and put her hands over her mouth when she realised where she was. She was on Gallifrey! Way before the Time War, the Time Lock and Parallel pocket Universes! This was actual funking Gallifrey! She furrowed her brow. Funking? Where had that come from? She'd been trying to say fricking... Freaking, fracking...fuuurreaking...forking... Jaime shook her head. That didn't really matter now. She turned her attention back to the Time Lords and the Doctor. They had just finished viewing the footage of his two companions after the Doctor asked if they were okay.
"They will both continue their lives as if nothing had happened." The Time Lord told him. "Yes, very efficient," though the Doctor didn't look very happy. "Now then, what about me?" "We have accepted your plea that there is evil in the universe that must be fought," the Time Lord speaking sounded very smug. "And that you still have a part to play in that battle." "What?" The Doctor was surprised. "You mean that you're going to let me go free?" But Jaime had a feeling that wasn't going to happen. "Not entirely," the other Time Lord said. "We have noted your particular interest in the planet Earth. The frequency of your visits must have given you special knowledge of that world and it's problems." Jaime could feel the Doctor's confusion. "Yes, I suppose that's true. Earth seems more vulnerable than the others, yes." "For that reason you will be sent back to that planet." "Oh good." "In exile." The first Time Lord said and Jaime gasped. So this is how it began! How he was exiled. "In exile?" Came surprise from the Doctor. "You will be sent to Earth in the Twentieth Century," the Time Lord told him. "And you will remain there for as long as we deem proper, and for that period the secret of the TARDIS will be taken from you." Well that didn't seem very fair, evidently the Doctor thought the same. Jaime could feel him getting upset.
"But you, you can't condemn me to exile on one primitive planet..." Jaime huffed. "...in one Century in one time! Besides, I'm known on Earth. It might be very awkward for me." "Your appearance has changed before, it will change again. That is part of the sentence." Her eyes widened as she stared at the Time Lords. They were going to force him to regenerate? Now that hardly seemed fair. "You just can't change what I look like without consulting me!" The Doctor panicked and Jaime wondered why she was feeling sorry for him. "You will have an opportunity to choose your appearance." The second Time Lord told him. "Oh, well, that's not so bad. But I warn you, I'm very particular." The Doctor grumped and he was shown a photo of an old man with a bushy beard. "Oh he's too old!" The Doctor protested. The next photo was shown of a chubby looking man and Jaime snorted before covering her mouth. He looked like an older Colin Baker. "Well he's too fat isn't he." The third photo popped up and Jaime was even more surprised when she noticed he looked like Paul McGann with sideburns. "No, he's too thin," the Doctor disagreed. The fourth photo was of a really young man who was probably in his twenties but looked like a teenager. He looked similar to Matt Smith and Jaime tried her best to stifle laughter. "That ones too young." The fifth and final photo showed another old looking man and Jaime could swear he looked just like John Hurt, the War Doctor. "Oh, now, that won't do at all. It's ridiculous." The Doctor had rejected all five images and the Time Lords were growing impatient.
You're wasting time, Doctor." "It's not my fault, is it? Is this the best you can do? I've never seen such an incredible bunch." 'No, me neither.' Jaime thought to herself. "Since you refuse to take the decision, the decision will be taken for you." What did that mean? "No, no, no..." The Doctor panicked, eyes wide. "I never said that. But I maintain I have the right to decide what I look like! It could be very important on Earth. People on Earth attach a very great deal of importance..."
A beam of light played down on the Doctor and he suddenly started slurring his words. Jaime stared, horrified. He looked like he was having a stroke. "Ah, what's happening?" The Doctor slurred a question as his face began to slowly morph. "What's hap...what's happened?" Still staring, horrified, the teenager couldn't believe what she was seeing. The way they were forcing his regeneration, surely it had to hurt. He even sounded hurt. Feeling sick and unable to watch this glorified execution she ran away and wanted to get as far away from Gallifrey as possible. She opened up a Fire Portal and jumped through it.
It was the 29th Century in the year 2826 and Jaime found herself on Starship UK...in the Newcastle block. Sitting in one of the seats looking totally miserable she stared around the place. Even in the 29th Century it seemed as if they thought themselves as black and white. Even the chairs were black and white striped. Oh, how very homely! They probably still had the Magpie as a mascot. She distantly wondered if they still had a rivalry with Sunderland, then she snorted and rolled her eyes. Of course they would! Stupid football. Nothing really changes does it!
Now her mind began to wander and she stared off into space as all the emotions became a distraction. She never noticed the Smiler across the way turn his head into a scowl. It was then that she realised she could feel the emotion of a very big animal. It was in pain yet it was happy and Jaime remembered that Starship UK was powered by a Star Whale. She guessed it wouldn't be too long until the Eleventh Doctor and Amy pitched up. She sighed and shook her head. How stupid was she getting these days? That was the TV version. No doubt it would be the Eleventh Doctor, Rose, Amy and John. But now thinking about J.D made her even more miserable and she slumped in her chair. And if that wasn't enough the lack of sleep was making her grumpy, especially because she didn't want anymore nightmares of Utopia.
Jaime shivered, not wanting to think about it. "Jaime? Jaime!" Somebody called her name but she was in a world of her own to even listen. That was until somebody stood in front of her and she blinked out of her thoughts. "Jaime! Snap out of it!" She looked up at the woman who had dark raven coloured hair, dark brown eyes and pale skin. She wore a denim blue jacket, black shirt and a pair of Capri's. She couldn't feel her emotions or even read her but she also felt vaguely familiar, yet she'd never seen this woman before...or perhaps she'd seen her on the TV. "Listen tae me, ye have tae gan back tae the Doctor!" The woman said in a strong Scots accent. So strong Jaime barely understood her, apart from the word 'Doctor.' The anger came swiftly and Jaime stood up. A warm breeze playing at her hair. "Leave me alone whoever you are." And attempted to walk away only for the woman to grab hold of her arm. "Dinnae be a bloody wean! Give the Doctors a chance and gan back tae them!" "Let me go!" Jaime shouted and punched the woman very hard in the face. She stumbled back with a cry. "I don't even know you and I'm never going back..."
She ran off through the corridors of Newcastle but the thought never even occurred to her how the woman could even see her, considering she still had her Unnoticeability raised. She halted when she noticed one of the Smilers were sneering evilly. The teenager shuddered. "Jaime!" She heard the Scotswoman shout to her. "I'm telling ye now. If ye dinnae gan back tae the Doctor I'll make ye!" That threat didn't go down too well. She turned to the annoying woman with a growl. "Yeah? Think you can try that?" She turned on her fire. "Think again!" And she threw fireball after fireball at the stranger who seemed quick to move out of he way. Several Newcastle residents ran away screaming. "LEAVE..." 'Whoosh', "ME..." 'Whoosh', "ALONE!" 'Whoosh'.
The Scotswoman had dodged every fireball and had her hands in the air. Jaime stared with an angry look in her eyes, chest heaving and warm wind whipping her hair all over the place. "Do ye dare strike me when I've surrendered?" The Scotswoman asked and Jaime was about to do that until she noticed a couple of cloaked men heading their way. Great! Somebody had called the authorities. Jaime connected to a TARDIS and Teleported...
A still pissed off angry Jaime burst out of the TARDIS and onto a cliffside. A very familiar cliffside with a very familiar view. Instantly she felt the tingling in the back of her mind and looked towards the woods where she could sense confusion from her younger self. Of course, she was back on Gemini. Jaime quickly raised her Psychic Shield to keep her other self from inquiring further. Now turning her attention back to the mountains in the distance she rubbed her forehead with a grimace. The headache was getting too hard to ignore. Wanting to get away as quick as possible she ran to the edge of the cliffside, bent her legs and super-jumped. Even though she was now used to it the height of the jump still frightened her and she closed her eyes. Then she landed on her feet a mile away which caused an explosive noise followed by the shaking of the ground. Jaime winced, forgetting for a moment that her feet could cause Earthquakes.
Her instincts kicked in and she suddenly ducked as a tree branch went swinging over her head. The Trees around her were annoyed she'd caused such a ruckus. "Hey! What was that for?" She asked when she turned to the Tree. It didn't look like any tree she had ever seen. Sure, it didn't look like the Trees of Cheam but it still looked weird. The trunk appeared to have beady eyes and a mouth though it was really quite hard to tell. It had really stubby looking legs and flexible looking branches that obviously doubled for arms. Another Tree tried to attack her but she was able to dodge that one too. "Bloody hell, you too?" The Tree let out a sort of growling, gurgling noise. Then two more of them communicated in the same way. Okay, trees that growled. That's a new one! All the sentient Trees were grouping together now and her senses were telling her she was in danger, so she raised her Unnoticeability just as one of the Trees blew out a browny-green coloured breath.
Jaime coughed a little and knew it was time to get away from all the Trees. So she ran and sneezed. She sneered angrily. Who knew trees could have such bad breath! And bad attitudes to boot! She coughed again and continued walking, doing her best to avoid more sentient Trees until she got to the part of the forest where the trees didn't have such a bad attitude. Coughing once more Jaime rubbed her face, somehow the headache had gotten a lot worse and it wasn't made any easier when she could hear the dog whistles in the distance. Groaning and leaning against a tree, Jaime closed her eyes, wishing her stomach wouldn't do so many barrel rolls. This was ridiculous. So bloody ridiculous! However, a thought occurred to her and she looked up in realisation. Didn't her younger self still have her painkillers on her? If she recalled, the bottle was half full. Jaime smiled, her younger self would hardly miss them.
As she Teleported back up to the cliffside the teenager noticed the whistles had already stopped. She sauntered into the woods, stretching her mind out, which pretty much hurt in her state, to find the mind of another. There it was, full of pain and fright and it was close by. But where? Continuing on she dropped her Psychic Shield and gasped when a blast of emotions hit her, making the headache that bit more unbearable. "Come on," she growled. "Where are you?" She heard whimpering several feet ahead of her and watched as her younger self scrambled out from underneath a bush, stumbling all over the place.
Older Jaime snickered as she followed Younger Jaime. The disorientated teenager stumbled over a couple of branches and finally fell to the ground. Older Jaime continued on, watching her younger self so intently she didn't notice the twig underfoot. 'CRACK!' Older Jaime winced while Younger Jaime gasped and the feeling of fear heightened so much that her older self shuddered and dropped the Perception filter. "Hello?" The frightened younger teenager ahead croaked. "Doctor? John? Rose?" The Older Jaime rolled her eyes angrily. Her younger self was such a naive little bitch. Perhaps she needed to grow up and be taught a lesson. Older Jaime watched as her younger self suddenly scrambled to her feet, looking at her older self but not really seeing her. "Hello?" She croaked, scared. "Who are you?"
In reply Older Jaime Telekinetically punched her younger self as hard as she could, following when she went slamming back against a tree and ignoring the cry of pain. The older female didn't really care how much pain the younger was in and Telekinetically slapped her, listening to the shocked gasp, and seeing the shock on her face. Did she honestly look like that? So...gormless? It just annoyed her so much she punched her several times, then when Younger Jaime tried to scramble to her feet the Older Telekinetically kicked the younger in the side. The Younger yelped and tried to crawl away. The Older watched this, now feeling the complete terror from her younger self but ignored it. She held her arm out, picking up her younger self Telekinetically and brutally slammed her face first into the tree, smirking when the younger whined painfully. She slid down to the ground, winded, knocked silly. Older Jaime still had a Telekinetic grip on her younger self and began to choke her, watching as she struggled, making choking noises. Then she used her other hand to pull out the bottle of painkillers, grabbing them as soon as they flew to her. "These'll do me good!" Older Jaime said to herself, registering confusion and surprise from the younger female.
Jaime stopped choking her younger self who was wracked with hacking coughs as she rolled to her side. She was given a parting Telekinetic kick for her troubles. Younger Jaime whined again, coughing painfully soon after. "By the way, ask yourself this," Jaime spoke to her younger self. "Do you really trust them? Ask them what happened to Fiction and Friction." And with that little warning Jaime walked away from her younger self. Now that she had half a bottle off painkillers she took one and sighed when the headache disappeared within seconds. Now she was good to go...or so she thought. A dog whistle was blown making her yelp and cover her ears. "Hey, keep it down will you!" Jaime barked angrily at whoever had blown the whistle. Then she made her exit by opening a Fire Portal and walking through it.
When she next came tumbling out of the Fire Portal a pale faced Jaime landed on a hard concrete ground, stunning her momentarily. Somebody was screaming in pain and she could feel dozens of surprised and confused emotions.
Previously the teenager had landed in a Prisoner of War camp in the dead of night, startling many of the German guards and making them think an attempted escape was happening. She quickly hid in plain sight until everything had calmed down. Then she killed every German guard and soldier there, compressing their brains into mush. Then she used T.K to break all the locks on the doors and left the gate open.
Now Jaime found herself in a different setting. It was 2007 and she was in Cardiff. How could she tell? By the way that man was being mauled on by a Weevil. She stood up, coughing while looking at her surroundings. She was in what looked to be a fighters cage and a lot of men were staring at her, some looking quite freaked out at her appearance. Distantly her mind registered that this was an episode of Torchwood. The one where the underground fighters kidnapped Weevils to force them to fight. "Who the hell are you?" A man with a Welsh accent asked. Huh! That was silly, they were all Welsh. Ignoring him Jaime turned to the still attacking Weevil and growled oddly. The Weevil stopped what it was doing and turned to the teenager, growling at her. She replied back in the same way, beckoning it over to her. It scuttled towards her and she put her hands on its shoulders, feeling the scared apprehension from the men. "Don't worry, you'll be okay." She told it and concentrated as it whined, sniffed and growled. The Weevil suddenly found itself outside, a mile away from where it had previously been. It whined in surprise and scuttled away.
Back at the supposedly abandoned warehouse Jaime stared angrily at the men, warm wind playing at her hair. "Hey, what the hell did you do? Where did our fighter go?" A man asked but she just silently stared at him. "I asked you..." He opened the door and walked into the cage area. "What did you..." He stopped suddenly when she turned her fire on. "What the..." That's all he got out before he was ignited. He screamed in pain and fell to the floor, rolling in a bid to put the flames out. She could feel fear from everyone now and they were beginning to run away. No, that just wouldn't do! "I need you all to stay where you are!" Jaime shouted loudly, voice echoing. The men stopped what they were doing and just stared blankly.
Jaime smirked evilly, knowing what she was going to do next. Gathering all the air in the building she created a tornado made of fire, igniting several underground fighters. Soon it turned into a huge dark red firestorm where windows were blown out, parts of the building collapsed and everything was incinerated. When the Fire Brigade arrived the fire was still raging. What they found was rather surprising. But by the time Torchwood arrived the mysterious fire retardant girl had disappeared.
2014, Earth, London, England. At least she thought it was London...she couldn't really tell. Jaime was stood in the middle of Trafalgar Square but it was overgrown with trees. And that was confusing. Why was it full of trees? Surely people would have noticed trees growing all over the place to do something about it? This was weird. "Okay!" She began her walk through the...forest?...woods?... Unsure on where she was going but she could feel various emotions. So the planet wasn't totally deserted. However that wasn't the only thing. Senses and instincts told her something was going to happen and she had a semi-bad feeling. Which was certainly a first for her. Semi-bad was a new one. Unless something was on the blink... Jaime halted in her steps and coughed several times. It sounded very chesty and by the time she finished the coughing fit she was grimacing. Well isn't that just Wizard! First it was a cold and now it was a bad cough. She hoped it wouldn't last long.
After getting a move on, Jaime soon found Nelson's Column and after a short debate with herself decided to Teleport to the top, so now she was perched precariously on his head. As far as she could see the trees seemed to stretch far and wide, never-ending. And she had the weird feeling it was happening all over the world. There were voices coming from down below and then the column rumbled and swayed a little, panicking Jaime so much she clung on to Nelson's head as best she could. "Hey! What the hell is going on here?" She sighed when the swaying and rumbling stopped.
Now she could focus on this mystery, why London and probably the whole world was overgrown with trees. There HAD to be a reason behind it. Actually it was really quite peaceful up here...well, apart from the birds. The rumbling returned and it was even worse than before. Jaime cried in surprise when she tumbled off Nelson's head and clung to the edge of the column, lucky to not have fallen further. She was about to Teleport to a safe part but the column swayed further and began to tumble to the ground. The teenager screamed, eyes wide and when she hit the ground it shook Eartquake-like.
The stone dust caused her to have a coughing fit and then once she got herself under control she groaned and used the now fallen column to lift herself up. She didn't know why her senses and instincts didn't warn her that was going to happen. "Jaime? Blimey, I almost didn't recognise you!" An oddly family voice spoke up and when she looked up she thought she might be hallucinating. What was Joanna Lumley doing here? And how did she know her? Joanna rushed to the teenager when she started coughing chestily again. "You'll be okay," she soothed. "She needs something to drink." "Och, stop mollycoddling her, Rose. She isn't even supposed to be here." "Doctor!" Rose warned. "Fine." She was handed a bottle of water and Rose helped Jaime drink it down. The water felt nice and when she had her fill she sighed. "I've got a good mind to drag you back to your when!" The Doctor threatened her.
Hearing him Jaime gasped and stumbled back. It was Peter Capaldi, no wait, it was the Doctor, the 12th Doctor, the one she'd had yet to see adventures of until the rift took her. "Leave me alone!" The teen snarled, jumped over the column and ran. "What did you say that for?" Rose asked. "You know how she was back then." "It was just to get her moving. I can hardly interfere with a Paradox."
Jaime kept running until she bumped into somebody and stumbled back. "Woah! You okay there young Miss?" A dark skinned man asked her. He was with a group of kids, apparently on a...school outing? Oh! And Clara Oswald! "Yes, yes..." She wondered who this man was and stared at him intently. He was...Rup...Rupert...Pink...no, hold on! He was either Rupert or...Daniel. That was odd. And he...was a...schoolteacher...from...Coal...Hill... Huh, just like Clara. "Are you sure? You look pretty sick." Clara asked. Something about her was being really weird, like she was different. "I'm fine, really." She walked away only to turn back to them. "Be careful when crossing the road." She told Clara before running off into the forest. She connected to a TARDIS and Teleported.
The door of the blue police box opened with a squeak and out walked Jaime, frowning at the look of the planet she was on. It was dark but there was a moon out and it was making the planet she was on look very blue. There was also a cacophony of animal noises that was setting her senses into overdrive. This planet was also giving her a bad feeling. Before going off to explore this planet Jaime raised her Unnoticeability. It was the unseen animals, the way they were making those sounds scared her. "Get a grip!" She hissed to herself as she walked through the woods. "They're just animals that's all. They won't hurt." She told herself though she could feel her nerves dwindling away. What was this planet anyway? And why would the Doctor want to even visit it? Everything just felt so bloody hostile!
In the distance she could hear the TARDIS dematerialising from the planet. Jaime snorted. Even the Doctor didn't want to stay here and a small part of her urged her to leave the planet as well. She ignored it and continued on walking. It was then that a strange Monkey-like thing dropped down in front of her. It was green with a blue face. It had five eyes and very sharp looking teeth. And when it screeched it didn't sound like a Monkey. Her nerves finally left her and Jaime turned tail, running away, screaming. She wondered how it was able to see her when she had her Perception Filter raised.
Coming to a halt near a large pond to get her breath back Jaime looked around while coughing. Every direction was trees and undergrowth and she didn't know whether people even lived here or not. And if they did how did they even manage it? Because it was just wild out here! Something wrapped around her ankle and pulled, making her trip up with a yell of surprise. When she looked back she saw that a black tentacle had a tight grip on her ankle and a very scary looking creature was peeping out of the pond. It began to pull her towards the pond as she tried to get a tight hold of something. This wasn't happening, this seriously wasn't happening! "Get the hell off me!" Jaime shouted and attacked the creature with Pyrokinesis, blasting it with fire balls. The weird creature let out a guttural cry and let go of her ankle.
Jaime scrambled to her feet and ran. Seriously, what was wrong with her intuition? It was like everything was out of kilter. She didn't see the deep hillside until it was too late, then she was falling down it into a small clearing. The trees were a lot thicker down here and a lot more darker. The bad feeling down here was enough to get her back to her feet, senses and instincts going into overdrive. Jaime didn't like this one bit and shivered when she heard rustling in the underbrush. Something wasn't right, Jaime could feel it.
A Spider as big as a large male cat creeped out from its hiding place. It's eyes were black and huge, it's body full of spiky corse hair. It saw her and skittered towards her. With a horrified grimace she blasted it back with Telekinesis. Normally, Spiders didn't bother her but this one was big and hairy and creepy. Definitely creepy. Especially that squeak it just made. Spiders didn't squeak! The first Spider was joined by a second Spider. Then they both went after her. "Woah!" She blasted them back away from her. But doing this brought out five more Spiders and a shiver ran down her spine. Limping backwards she blasted them all but more was coming from different directions and the hill was too steep to climb up.
At this point she was kicking them away as well as blasting them but they just kept on coming. "That's it! That is it!" Jaime shouted and caught all the Spiders in a Telekinetic grip and hovered them all in the air. "I'll show you what..." Suddenly there was a bright flash before her eyes and Jaime screamed in pain, holding her head as she felt the worst pain unimaginable shoot through her brain. She collapsed to the ground, unconscious, followed by the Spiders. Her nose was bleeding very heavily and her face had gone deathly pale. The Spiders were hesitant at first, then they swarmed on her.
