Suddenly there was a blast of orange-blue freezing cold fire and all the Spiders were frozen. This was followed by several Telekinetic blasts and the Spiders shattered. There was an annoyed bout of Gallifreyan profanity. "Hurry up and get that stuff off her. I'll keep watch in case more Spiders appear!" Dyna told her companion. The woman ran to the body encased in webbing and used her laser tool to pull the webbing apart. "It's the Eight Legs isn't it," the companion asked. "Before they gained their Psychic abilities." "Yes, that's very likely. They're still evolving right now and they won't gain their abilities for another couple hundred of years."

When the other woman got as much webbing off the girl as best she could she then felt her pulse. "I don't think she's breathing!" Dyna looked worried. "Alright, lets get her inside..." There was rustling from the undergrowth. "Quick!" The companion picked Jaime in her arms and ran into the open doorway of the TARDIS while Dyna blasted more Spiders that were appearing. She followed her companion in, shutting the door. "What are you waiting for? Get her into the Artron Chamber." She shouted to the other women and she hurried through to the Medical Wing. Dyna sent the TARDIS into the Vortex and followed after her companion.

She was busy wiping the blood from the teenager's pale face. "It's okay, she's still got a pulse but it's faint. Her heartbeat is slow though." "Right. Lets get started." Dyna closed the lid, pressed scan and they looked at the monitor that was now showing a full body MRI/X-RAY scans of Jaime. The companion gasped at the state of the teenager's brain. "What is all that?" She asked about the huge dark spot in the brain that was still spreading. "She's haemorrhaging. It's part of the after-effects of what she is." "Okay. So what is wrong with her lungs?" There appeared to be spores of some kind floating around Jaime's lungs and a deeper scan revealed they were a mild toxin from a Gemini Tree. That was easily fixable along with the haemorrhage. But they found another toxin in her system that was more poisonous...deadlier. "Oh no. She's got at least two spider bites," Dyna muttered. "They bit her to disable her but she was already unconscious. This Spider toxin might be harder to eradicate."

They found no other strange anomalies so Dyna started up the Artron Chamber. The chamber was the state of the art medical device that became available in the TT MK 1995's. it began to glow with medicated Artron that would help fix the serious and critically injured, regenerating wounds internal and external. It was not the same as the regenerative Artron that resided in Time Lords. "How long do you think it will take?" The companion asked, staring at he glowing gold Artron flittering around Jaime in the chamber. It was her first time seeing it at work. "That depends," Dyna replied. "Sometimes it only lasts a couple of hours. But with Jaime she has a massive brain bleed, a chest infection and deadly Spider toxin running through her system. It might take up to 24 hours." She checked the heart monitor and didn't like how slow Jaime's heart was beating. They were going to be on tenterhooks, waiting.

They did hourly observations on the teenager and the first few hours had been very worrisome. Several times her heat stopped beating because of the Spider toxin running through her system. But the Artron dealt with that and shocked her heart into restarting. The brain bleed was stopped in he first hour and it was even shrunk a tiny bit, but it wasn't something that could be made to disappear so easily. In five hours the spores from the Gemini tree were eradicated and a scan showed her lungs were clear of any chest infection. The hardest part was the Spider poison. It was taking longer to get rid of and the the way it flowed around Jaime's bloodstream wasn't normal. Then again the Eight Legs weren't normal at all. They used to be Earth Spiders until a colony ship crash landed on the planet. Then they just grew to an abnormal size and became Psychic, terrorising the locals.

Thirty long tiring hours later they saw that there was still a minimal amount of Spider toxin in her bloodstream, but it was less fatal than it should be. And it seemed to be stuck there, avoiding the Artron. For the moment Dyna focused on the bigger problem. Jaime's brain activity. "What are you thinking?" The companion asked, looking at the low brainwaves and inactivity. "I'm thinking she's in a deep coma," Dyna replied. "Probably a result of the haemorrhage blow-out." "I'm guessing that's not a good thing." "No, it's not. I'm going to have to go inside." Dyna replied.

After turning the chamber off they managed to put Jaime on a normal bed and replaced her clothes with a hospital gown. They also noticed the malnutrition. "After weeks of wandering the universe and not eating much she's bound to lose weight." The companion fixed a drip on Jaime's arm and once that was done Dyna placed her fingers on the sides of the teenager's head. "Observe. Watch out for anything serious." She said and closed her eyes, gently easing her way into the girl's mind...

Dyna looked around with a frown. It was such a mess in here and she could feel a malevolence, a very familiar malevolence. She recognised it as Intermittent Explosive Disorder and went in search for it. At first she found broken bits of brick all over the ground. So a wall had previously been built but it appeared as if it had been exploded. Perhaps somebody forced their way in and blew it up. She guessed it was a Hydra that did it. Even in her Universe they weren't too nice about it.

Looking up she found a pulsing black mass that was Jaime's IED, which looked very different from her First incarnations IED. "Okay. Lets deal with you first." When she tried to bind it up it dodged her and even tried to attack her with fire. Luckily for Dyna she had Telekinetic Shielding. But this was bad. It had taken on a life of its own. "I would like to speak to you in person!" Dyna called to it. "Right now." The black mass morphed into a bird of fire and flew down to Dyna's level. Only it wasn't the usual orange looking fire. It was Dark Fire...a dark Fire-Bird. The Fire-Bird morphed into an evil looking version of Jaime with a Dark Fire aura. "What do you want? Who are you? How did you get in here?" Dark Jaime asked, her hands alight with Dark Fire. "I'm the Dynacracker and I'm going to to lock you up!" Dyna told the Dark Fire creature that looked like Jaime. But it just laughed quite insanely. "You cannot touch me, for I consume everything!" It said. "Oh, is that so?" A fight then ensued and Dyna just about dodged or blocked everything that was thrown at her. But the Dark Fire creature was very hot and it was taking all the air away to use for it's fire.

What she heard next worried her. *Delta! What's going on?* the scared voice of her companion called. *She's fitting and you don't look very good either!* Dyna stared at the Dark Fire Jaime creature with blue eyes that were cold as ice and a determined expression on her face. "She's dying and I'm not going to let that happen." Blue-orange fire appeared in Dyna's hands. "You may be dark but I don't think even you can beat Cryo-Pyro fire." Dyna threw a freezing-fireball after freezing-fireball at the Dark Fire creature to slow it down. And once she had it on the run she caught it in a Cryo-Pyro unbreakable bind followed by locking it behind a wall made of Cryo-pyro freezing fire. "And that's you done." Dyna muttered. *How is she doing?* She called. *It's okay,* the companion called back. * Everything's okay. She's settled now.* "Okay. Now to find Jaime."

The Time Lady Hybrid came across a corridor of doors and every one of them was open except for two. All of them were causing a cacophony of sound. Frowning, she looked into the first one. A big screen TV with the sound turned high showing an episode of Doctor Who. Of course the girl was from a Universe where the Doctor only existed as a fictional character. Dyna closed the door but didn't lock it, knowing it should be private. The next few rooms were uneventful until she came across one that interested her. It chronicled Jaime's time on this Universe's planets Fiction and Friction. And as Dyna continued to watch she now began to understand what happened to the twin planets. Accidental planetary destruction caused by an exposure of the Chimera flower. It was something that couldn't be helped and Dyna sighed as a vulnerable and scared Jaime cried while J.D held her. The scene melted away and changed into what Fiction currently looked like after Solar Flares hit it. Dyna growled when she saw who was with the panic stricken Jaime. The Trickster. And he was telling her Fiction's problems were her fault while Jaime wondered why the Doctor hadn't told her. Though the Time Lady Hybrid was pleased to see the girl was strong enough to defeat the Trickster. Sadly she was not strong enough to deal with her battered mind or a Paradox and she later escaped through a Fire Portal. The beginning of this whole sorry mess.

Dyna left the room but only left the door slightly ajar. The next door was the first closed one and there was something bright shining behind the door. It was locked as well. With a brief smile Dyna bust the lock and moved on. A couple of doors after that she found a wide open memory of eight year old Jaime going wild on her classmates and teachers, blowing up her school with a Psionic blast because somebody had pushed her over the edge. "Poor kid." Dyna muttered and closed the door. Nobody liked being bullied.

After closing the final few doors that had been blown open by the Hydra, Dyna came close to the second locked door. She could sense something was in there but it wasn't malevolent. "Jaime, you in there?" Dyna called after knocking on he door. "Can you let me in?" Nothing, no reply. So the Time Lady Hybrid took it upon herself to bust the lock and walked in. What she found in there was a maze. Big and twisty. And Jaime was somewhere in there. Dyna groaned. "For Rassilon's sake, Jaime!" She began her walk through the maze in search of the teenager, noticing it seemed to be getting dark and scary. But just like her First incarnation Dyna didn't scare easily. As for the teenager she was a powerful Telepath...well to be honest she was a powerful everything...and Dyna could feel her. She could follow the Telepathic signal and find her that way. But as it turned out that wasn't so easy. She was somehow duplicating herself and leading Dyna to several dead ends. The normally cool and collected Dyna was beginning to lose her patience.

"Come on Jaime. I'm not here to hurt you!" Dyna called out. "I only want to help you." She wasn't sure if she had gotten through to the teenager but she could feel that Telepathic pull again. Dyna was able to follow it and it took her to the middle of the concrete maze. There was nobody here apart from a table covered by a tablecloth. Dyna frowned as she walked over to it, crouched and lifted the cloth up.

The small child of about six, brown hair and hazel eyes, gasped in fright as she held a teddy bear, that looked suspiciously like the Tenth incarnation of the Doctor, close to her body. "Oh! Hello, what are you doing under there?" Dyna enquired kindly. "Hiding." The girl squeaked, frightened. "Hiding?" Dyna frowned, confused. "Why are you hiding?" "Because of the bad men!" The six year old's eyes were wide. "What bad men? Who are they?" The Time Lady Hybrid asked. "I don't know," the girl cried. "But they feel bad and I don't know why." Dyna smiled warmly at the crying child. "But there's nobody else here, just us two." Only the girl was shaking her head. "Yes there is, they're hiding, waiting for me." She sighed. "If you come with me I can protect you." The girl just looked at her warily. "You can trust me!" Dyna urged and held her hand out towards the six year old. She was hesitant at first and then she stretched her hand out, the one not holding the teddy, and took hold of Dyna's cool feeling hand.

The six year old crawled out from underneath the table and clambered to her feet. But as soon as she came out from her hiding place half a dozen men dressed in black walked out of the walls. "Look!" The girl squeaked, hiding behind the adult. Narrowing her blue eyes Dyna stared coldly at the men. "What in Rassilon's name is going on? This isn't The Matrix, neither is it Men in Black. You stay the hell away from her. Invelan flayara!" The Time Lady Hybrid hissed and shot fireballs of cold fire at the men. They were frozen instantly, the icy fire shimmering. The six year old stared in wide-eyed wonder. "Wow!" She gasped and reached out to touch one only for Dyna to pull her back. "Don't, unless you want to get frost burn." "What did you do?" The girl squeaked and Dyna sensed her fear. "Oh, just the usual. Watch this." She blasted the frozen fire statues and they shattered into small icy fire shards. Now she crouched down to the six year old's level. "See, you're safe now. No more bad men. Can you perhaps get us out of this maze." The six year old looked confused. "How can I do that?" She squeaked. "Just think of something that makes you happy."

So the girl closed her eyes and thought about what she wanted. Dyna watched as the maze morphed into a garden that resembled Willy Wonka's sweet garden. The girl giggled happily and skipped off towards a chocolate tree. Dyna watched this before turning away and walking towards the door. "Where are you going? Don't leave me!" The girl cried. Dyna smiled warmly. "Don't worry, you won't be alone for long. When you feel like it you can leave through that door. I'll leave it open for you, okay?" The girl nodded and Dyna walked out of the door...

The Time Lady Hybrid gently eased out of Jaime's mind and stood back with a sigh. "How did it go?" The companion asked. When Dyna looked at the monitor she saw that Jaime's brainwaves were normal. She smiled. "I think it went well. She'll wake up with a clear mind but I think we should leave her to sleep for awhile."
