I sat on the bed, fidgeting with my fingers while I waited for her to come. I have no idea why I thought specifically about calling her. Maybe I knew that she wouldn't care if I looked like shit...or the fact that she is only twenty minutes away. I have five hours to get ready and I'm already panicking!

Fuck! What the hell is Paul doing to me? I mean, I went on dates before. I counted them as dates. With Edward, we only stayed at his place or at school. With Jacob, we only went out twice; the first time was to a movie and the second was a picnic.

I ran my hands over my face. I fucking suck at dating.

Knowing Paul, he had a great night planned. He probably went on plenty of dates before. I think he's slept with more women than he dated. That thought instantly made my mind spin and I felt like I was ready to explode. I hate over-thinking.

"Fuck, Swan! I could hear your heart beat hammer from two blocks away." I looked up and to my instant relief, saw Leah. "You seriously need to calm the fuck down." She said, walking into my bedroom with a big duffel bag.

I sighed. "I've been trying, but nothing helps."

"Who the fuck is this guy that's doing this to you? He has to be some sort of God if you came to me for help." She smirked.

What Leah doesn't know is that I had no one else to turn to. Jessica was out and she made me look like a hooker last time. Emily and Kim would doll me up way too much that I'd end up looking like a china doll. They would definitely ask me who this guy is and I wouldn't know what to say to them. So Leah's literally the only person I could call.

"A guy from school." I told her, trying to sound confident but lacking fiercely.

Her eyebrow raised and she snorted. She put the bag on the bed and sat down. "Lying's not getting you anywhere, Bella."

"But I'm-"

"I can hear your heart stutter and you're sweating like a pig. Who is he really?" She pressed, her dark eyes burning with curiosity.

I bit my lip and tugged at my hair. "Okay, I'll tell you but you have to promise not to tell anyone. Got it?"

She crossed her arms, a sly smile tugging at the corners of her lips. She nodded once. "Of course."

"Leah, I'm serious. This is still new and I don't know if it's going to be an actual thing. So promise me?"

She looked at me, hesitantly, before nodding surely. "Okay, okay. I promise."

I looked away and in a small, unsure voice, I admitted, "Paul."

I was still looking away when I heard Leah get up from my computer chair and it fell backwards. She had the most surprised look on her face. "What the fuck do you mean 'Paul'?!"

I puffed my cheeks with air and breathed out. "It's Paul...we kind...you know..."

She gasped loudly. "You guys did it!"

"Hey, can you keep it down? You never know who's in the woods!" I ran over to shut my opened window.

"Let me get this straight. You want me to help you get ready to go on a date with Paul?"

I nodded my head slowly, hoping that she won't leave.

"You know what will happen if the pack finds out?"

I stared at her. Of course I didn't know! I have some theories and small, underdeveloped ideas of what could happen but there is never a concrete answer until it happens.

"I wouldn't have to be the only girl in the pack any more!" She laughed hysterically.

I gaped at her. That was definitely not one of the worse things I came up with. I thought that maybe they would beat him up or yell at him, the usual stuff people do when they are allowably furious - not caught off his man hoods!

"Do you really think they would?" Oh god, what did I get Paul into?

"Swan, we can probably talk about you and Paul-the-man-whore-of-La-Push to the pack. You're like everyone's little sister! Well...I guess not everyone's little sister." She sat back down. "How did this happen any ways?"

I took a deep breath before telling her what had happened the night I went partying with Jessica. When I told her the story, her expression didn't change. That was one of the things I hated about Leah - you never know what she's thinking about! She was like a fucking rock.

"So let me get this straight, again. You wanted to prove to everyone that you're not some broken, lost, little girl that everyone claims you are?" I nodded. "And Paul found you and you guys had this deep, emotional talk?" I nodded, slowly. "Then somehow his dick navigates itself inside of you?" Once again, I nodded. She looked at me for a long time. "Then he asked you out but my dumbass little brother sort of ruined your date so now you rescheduled for tonight?"

"Yep." I sighed.

"So how long do you think you can keep this up?"

"Until we can figure out what the hell we're doing." I replied, shrugging.

She stared at me, her scrutiny was rather intimidating but she was here to help, so I couldn't tell her to back off. "Fine, I'll help you get ready. I'll also make sure that your secret is under wraps until you and he figure out what's going on. God know you two will need all the luck you can get."

"Why?" I inquired, confused. Why was she so understanding with this whole ordeal? She usually isn't the person to immediately understand why things happen the way they do.

"For one, your dad will be married to my mom so in some way, we're sisters. Two, I can see a big difference in you. You're totally different, Bella, and you're definitely happier. Everyone has the right to be happy. Plus, I can see you being good for Paul."

"Thank you, Leah." I couldn't help but run over to where she was seated and tackle her with a hug. We both fell to the ground.

Leah and I laughed as we tried to get up. Leah held out her hand and I took it. She pulled me up to my feet.

"So what's in the bag?" I asked, gesturing to it.

"Well, I kind of knew you wouldn't have shit. So I went through what I had. I found all these things I never wear anymore since I turned into a wolf. I thought it would look good on you."

She took the bag and unzipped it, pulling out a yellow knee-length dress. It was pretty.

"Are you sure?" I queried.

"Yeah, I mean, what's the good of having it if it's not use? Go and put it on, Swan." She threw the yellow dress at me. Luckily, I caught it.

I went to the bathroom and got undressed. I laid the yellow dress on the counter and took a step back, admiring it. I remember once, Sue said she got Leah a pretty yellow dress for a party, but she never wore it. It had to be this one.

I took the dress from the counter and put one foot in at a time, zipping it up once I managed to get my whole body in. I never knew one dress could make me feel so good about myself until now. I adjusted it slightly before walking out.

When I entered my room, Leah was rummaging through my shoes. She looked up at me and smiled. "Wow, it looks better than I thought it would." Without warning, she threw a pair of black flats. "Put them on."

I sat on my bed and slid my feet in each shoe. When I put the last one on, I stood up. "Well, how do I look?"

She stood in front of me, scanning my appearance with her judgemental eyes. "You clean up nice. Now, it's time to do your hair and makeup."

If this was a movie, upbeat, positive music would have started playing. You know, when the odd, ugly girl turns beautiful because of makeup. But fortunately, this was not a movie. I have a damn female werewolf doing my hair and makeup. And damnit, when she fixes my hair, she pulls it!

After about an hour of pain and being poked in the eye from a mascara brush, she was finally done with my make over. Reluctantly, I walked over to the mirror. I stared at myself in the mirror. I was happy to see that I didn't look like the cakeface that Jessica turned me into. I looked just like me, just a little enhanced.

"Wow." I breathed.

"I know. I do fabulous work." Leah crossed her arms and smirked. "Don't worry, you'll take his breath away."

"Thanks."

"Well, it's almost time for him to come and keep our little session a secret, kay?"

I nodded and lead her to the front door.

"Leah?" She turned around. "Thanks for everything." I smiled. She smiled back at me and left.

I stood in my living room with butterflies in my stomach. I kept staring at myself in the mirror when my phone went off. I opened my phone and read that it was a text from Paul.

Hey beautiful, I know I said I would pick

you up, but things are holding me up.

You might have to wait a little longer

than planned.

Meet me at old Miler's farm.

P

I looked at the text message for a long time. Why old Miler's farm? That hasn't been used in over ten years. But I trust Paul enough to go along with it. I grabbed my purse and keys then walked to the truck.

As I drove up to the farm, I saw Paul's car parked there. I pulled my truck over and parked next to it. Once the engine died down, I hopped out of it and jogged to the barn. As I entered the old, abandoned farm, Christmas lights were hung up and there was a table placed in the middle of the barn.

I couldn't help but smile as I stared at the simple yet cute photographic scene.

I then felt two arms wrap themselves around my waves and two lips next to my ear.

"I thought you'd never make it."
