I'm am so sorry, this took so long, you have permission to be angry at me, I promise I'm going to update the rest of this chapter(it's a two-parter, sorry of you dislike that) tomorrow, so sorry it's short!

Kurt had been at Rachel's house for around an hour before he had deemed her perfect for her date with Finn. She couldn't describe how nervous she was, this was not only her first date with Finn. This was her first date, period. She couldn't have been more thankful for Kurt's help, she was wearing a long-sleeved emerald green dress with a white collar, black tights and combat boots. Her hair was hanging in loose waves framing her face and she had very little make up on. She felt beautiful.

Just as she thanked Kurt for his handiwork, the doorbell rang, and Rachel's butterflies increased tenfold, what if Finn didn't like the way she looked? What if he didn't actually want to go on a date with her?

Kurt turns to her when he sees she hasn't moved.

"Aren't you going to answer it?"

"Yeah, yeah of course."

Rachel still doesn't move. So Kurt gently pushes her forward, giving her the encouragement she needed to go answer the door, she's happy her fathers are away on a business trip, because she is sure that they would be grilling Finn about anything and everything.

As she reached the door, she takes a deep breath and opens it. And there is Finn. In a black suit with a sleek grey tie, as soon as Rachel sees him all of her prior nerves dissipate and a smile spreads across her face.

"Wow Rach, you look- wow."

She smiles shyly and tucks a strand of hair behind her ear.

"You don't look too bad yourself"

She looks up into Finn's eyes and they stay, for a prolonged moment, suspended in time, that is until Kurt so rudely interrupts.

"Hey- oh, oh sorry I didn't know that you were have having a moment there, I'll just be leaving to go home and have my weekly sex and the city marathon, you guys have fun."

And with that, he walks to his car and slowly drives away.

"So m'lady, are you ready to have the most amazing night of your life."

Rachel giggles behind her hand and grabs her bag, locking the door on her way out, she then grab the crook of his arm he offers and the head off to his truck.

"So where are we heading?"

"That, miss Rachel Berry is a surprise one that I wish not to be divulged until the time is right."

"Surprise away, Mr Hudson."

They had been driving for around 20 minutes until Finn stopped outside a plain, tall building block. Rachel turned curiously towards Finn and he anxiously turned back.

"Please, just let me show you first ok, I know it looks a little rubbish from the outside but just let me show you ok."

"Finn, I know that whatever it is that you have planned for us this evening, will be amazing, because I get to spend it with you."

Finn smiled happily and got out of the car, walking around it to open the door for Rachel, she grasps his hand and they walk toward the building, hand in hand.
