I have decided to update AGAIN tomorrow because this seemed to be a little more eventful that I initially expected, so tomorrow it will be back again, hope you enjoy and please review and say what you want:)
As they headed towards a big steel door Finn reassuringly squeezes Rachel's hand, she looks up and him and smiles, to which he responds with his own, as Finn pushes open the door, Rachel is speechless. The first thing she notice is the thousands of fairy lights adorning every expanse of the large building.
Her attention is then drawn to the the small bowling alley right in front of them, she then looks to her right to see a couch set up behind a projector, aimed towards the wall. On their left is a small table for two, with small tea lights in glasses on top.
Finn misinterpreted her awe for hatred.
" oh- shit, Rachel I knew I should have just taken you to breadstix and then everything would have been fine because it's something you're used to-
"Finn."
"but I just couldn't decide between bowling or a meal or a movie so I-"
"Finn."
Rachel repeats a little louder, effectively cutting him off.
"This is the most wonderful, thoughtful thing anyone has ever done for me and the fact that you have spent the time to do so, is very sweet and very chivalrous."
She leans up and passionately kisses him.
"So you like it"
Finn asks, a half smile upon his face.
"I love it"
Finn lets out a sigh of relief as Rachel giggles.
"So what do you want to do first?"
"Well, I've never bowled before, so I'm not sure you'll want to do that, I think I'd fail but I don't mind, we can do whatever you want to do."
"We'll miss Rachel Berry, I would be honoured to share your first bowling experience."
" okayy, just know you're taking your life into your own hands."
Finn chuckles and tells her that she cannot be that bad. That was before she had managed to score just 17 and was on her last bowl.
"And you said I wouldn't be too bad"
Rachel giggles as Finn hold his hands up in defence, he then walks towards her and stand directly behind her.
"Here, you need to stand a little to the left and space your legs out a little, now take your shot."
Rachel throws the ball, only to leave 3 balls on the alley.
"Oh my god, Finn did you just see that?!"
"I did baby, that was amazing, and you still have another shot, maybe you could knock down another"
"As if Finn, this is the best I've done all game"
Rachel picks up her ball and throws, knocking down the final 3 balls. She turns to a beaming Finn and jumps into his arms, their eyes lock and simultaneously they lean in, their lips locking. For several long moments they stay like this, locked together, until they break apart and gasp of air, both surprised at the electric pulse that bounced between them.
"Congrats Rach, you got a spare!"
"It was only due to your help,I sucked for they rest of the game"
"Hey, don't be so down on yourself, just think we'll have to go practice, and there are worse things a guy can do than to spend the night with you"
Rachel blushes and looks down. Finn then grabs her by the waist and pulls her to him, chastely kissing her on the lips.
"Do you want to move on to part two of the date?"
"I would love to."
Finn pulls her towards the table and pulls out her chair, Rachel thanks him and takes a seat. He pulls the lid off of her plate to reveal a pasta dish.
"It's vegan, I remember you telling me"
Finn smiles as she blushes once again, he then takes a seat on the other side of the table, revealing his own dish, spaghetti and meatballs.
"Finn?"
"Yeah"
"What is this place?"
"Oh, my uncle owns it, he usually throws parties with his friend but I asked if I could borrow it because I had this real cute girl I had to impress with our very first date, so I took down the football posters, replacing them with the fairy lights and I moved the place around, he said it was fine, just as long as I put it back because apparently 'no one wants a romantic party' "
"Well, I can tell you this is most definitely the best party I've ever been to."
Rachel smiles at Finn and the continue to eat, asking random questions throughout the meal.
Reviews are love:)
