Sorry, this is uber short, even in my standards but the date has kind of come to a close, I might include Finn dropping her home at the start of the next chapter:)
"So."
"So."
Finn returns mockingly.
" why'd ya' choose me over the many girls at McKinley, we both know any and all of them would be so willing to date you, what made me so special?"
" I don't know really, maybe it was non-stop chatter, I mean I rarely hear you stop."
Rachel reached across the table and pinches Finns arm, in actuality she holds off saying almost everything that comes to mind as she scared of what others will say, what they would do. So she remains silent mostly, never wanting to draw unnecessary attention to herself.
"Or maybe I like you violence."
"Ha ha very funny, really though, what was it?"
"Honestly I think it was how you didn't realise just how amazing you are, you know, you has this modesty that you rarely see in people. I could also see this spark in your eyes Rach, a passion for life that is such a rare quality within a person, you just captured me with those beautiful brown eyes and I never want you to let me go."
Rachel stood from her seat and walked around the table, moving directly in front of Finn, she stands between his legs and looks into his eyes, searching his soul, loving what she saw: adoration. She leans forward and kisses him squarely on the lips.
"You know, you have a real way with words Finn, no-one's ever said anything like that to me before."
"Nobody has ever told you the truth?!"
"Finn!"
"Rachel!"
"How am I going to deal being the girlfriend of Finn Hudson, star quarterback and part time comic."
Rachel sarcastically says.
"Okay, okay I'll quit with the stupid jokes, just as long as you believe what I'm telling you and not question me, you really are beautiful inside and out."
He kisses the corner of her mouth and stands grabbing her hand and leads her to the couch, he tells her to take a seat whilst he set up the projector connected to a DVD player.
"Right, what do you want to watch, I've raided Kurt's collection, so have a bunch of movies I think you'll like, I've got The Hunger Games, The Wizard of Oz, Moulin Rouge and one that Kurt made certain I brought, Funny Girl."
A beam spreads over Rachel's face as she lets out a breathy laugh.
" what are you smiling about?"
"It's just that's my favourite movie of all time, I guess that's why Kurt thought it was a suitable choice, but I am fairly certain you'll hate it, so I'll leave the choice to you."
"If it's your favourite, I want to see what to like about it, so Funny Girl it is."
Rachel beams once again as Finn joins her on the couch, she then snuggles into his side, his arm around her shoulder and her legs thrown over his.
Reviews are love:)
