Last chapter of this story but Rose, the Doctor, Jaime and John David will be back in 'Unanswered Questions' (not sure if that sounds good or not) picking up where it left off in Chapter 38. Thank you all for reading and reviewing, you've been an amazing audience. Quite humbled at this point.

dae ye ken? - do you understand?

1912

On a sinking ship in the middle of the Atlantic was a teenager wearing odd modern day clothing. Her hair was shoulder length brown and her eyes were hazel coloured. The youngster was somewhat out of her time and even in the wrong Universe. Jaime was scared, mostly for the people around her. They were all scared, fearful of drowning in the cold Atlantic sea. People were dying below deck. She could feel it happening one by one. She just wanted them to stop hurting each other.

Barely noticing the odd humming noise in the night sky, Jaime opened her mouth in a bid to calm down all the passengers. "Dinnae even think 'bout it," A Scottish accented voice commanded behind her. "And dinnae even turn 'round." Jaime blinked in surprise, feeling her mind cloud over. How was that even possible? She was an Omni-Psychic. Mind Control shouldn't work on her! "Ye better be listenin' missy! Yer goin' tae Teleport away from this place and yer goin' tae dae it now, dae ye ken?" Jaime found herself nodding. "Good! Now Teleport tae the New York Harbour." She nodded in confirmation.

Jaime, long raven coloured hair, dark brown eyes and natural pale skin watched as her younger self Teleported away without causing harm to history. Because the Universe was apparently a hell of a lot poorer without the wonders of Microsoft! Snorting, she turned away and hurried back into the invisible TARDIS.

Captain Jack Harkness stood waiting for the 456 to enter Earth's atmosphere. Behind him was a mini-bus full of chosen children. He wasn't particularly happy about what was going to happen but it had to go on. For the 'good of the British Empire', or so he'd been told. Sometimes he hated working for Torchwood. He'd only gotten the job because he'd been overheard talking about the Doctor. In the night sky he could just about see the alien ship.

On board the 456 ship, Jaime Teleported in and quickly turned herself invisible. The Half-Human dark haired Scot didn't want them knowing she was on board their ship. Especially after what they did to Ianto in the Torchwood Children of Earth episode. What she needed to look for first was the infirmary. That's where they would be keeping the cure for the Superflu.

Using the power of Telepathy and Psychic GPS she was able to map her way around the ship. When she did find the infirmary it was quite busy. There were three very disgusting looking aliens pottering about. So she Teleported to the engine room and caused a mess with a couple of small Psionic explosions before placing a timed explosive near one of the more critical engines.

By the time she returned to the infirmary it was empty...and she had three minutes before the Spaceship blew up. Across the other side of the room there were trays of vials. Jaime wondered if that was the cure and when she touched one of them she got images of a worldwide vaccination happening. There were five trays in all and she remote teleported them to the TARDIS. With seconds to spare she also Teleported back to the TARDIS.

Down on Earth, Jack watched in stunned silence as the 456 ship blew up even before it could enter the atmosphere. What had happened? Because he didn't see anything strike it. Jack looked back at his Commanding Officer with a frown and even she looked stunned.

A mild wind kicking up distracted him and when he looked around Jack jumped in surprise and shock. Stood opposite him was a female with raven coloured hair, dark brown eyes and natural pale skin. She was holding five trays of Superflu vaccines. "Here!" She shoved them to Jack and he took them. "When ye talk 'bout this in the future dinnae mention it!" She warned before disappearing in a mini whirlwind.

Jack looked confused before turning to his Commanding Officer. She saw he was holding the vaccines despite the ship blowing up. "Where did you get that from?" She asked. For once in his long life Jack was stunned into silence.

Mickey and Martha Smith-Jones, happily married, were running around an abandoned factory, searching for a rogue Sontaran or two. They were still working for Torchwood but they were also supposed to be on their honeymoon. It was an odd way to spend it, then again tracking down aliens was now an everyday normality for the couple.

Unfortunately they didn't notice the Sontaran behind them standing high up on a walkway with his phaser gun, ready to shoot them dead. Unfortunately Commander Jask didn't notice the sudden kick up of wind or the odd humming sound of a TARDIS materialising. Nor did he expect his phaser to be blown out of his hands by a Telekinetic blast.

Jask growled and turned to the intruder, a female with dark hair. Before he could do anything her arm shot out and he found himself unable to move. "What is this?" Jask growled. "Yer death!" The female snarled and he was lifted off the walkway with a cry of surprise, then hung in mid-air over a great height. "Let me go!" He cried.

In answer she closed her hand and there was suddenly very sharp pain in his head. He yelled out, unable to move one bit. A man, he knew as the Doctor, joined her side before he blacked out. J.D grimaced as he watched gloopy green blood flow from the now dead Sontaran's nose and ears. "Jaime, let him go." John told her. The dark haired Scot dropped her arm and the dead Sontaran went crashing to the ground below.

"Hey!" They heard a faint shout from Mickey. "What're you doing here?" Jaime snorted as she leaned on the rail. "Jus' thought ye might need us tae watch yer back!" She shouted back very loudly and John winced. "Dae yer need anymore help down there?" "It looks like you've already dealt with it." Martha shouted. "But yeah, okay!" "Wizard!" John grinned and Jaime held his hand before Aeroprting down to join Mickey and Martha.

Spring, 2010

It was Donna Noble's wedding day. Well, now she was Donna Temple-Noble, having only just married Shaun Temple. It was a very happy day indeed. Standing outside close to a tree was Jaime and John, watching the happy couple exit the church with their friends and family. J.D chuckled when he heard Donna taking the piss out of her sort-of-friend Nerys. They had been at odds with each other for a long time now.

The two Half-Time Lords weren't hiding, but they were waiting to be noticed. And that didn't take long. Wilf spotted them, nudged Sylvia and she smiled. The thought of Sylvia smiling still un-nerved them. But Jaime could feel that she was happy at their presence. Wilf waved them over and they approached the group.

"Sorry we're late." Jaime spoke up. "Wasn't sure if ye wanted us here." "None-sense!" Wilf spoke up. "You would have been welcome, wouldn't they?" He said to Sylvia and she nodded. "Of course!"

"Spaceman!" They heard a loud bellow. 'Spacegirl! You came." "Well, we couldn't really stay away on your big day, could we." John smiled. "Earthgirl!" He hugged his friend...well, she felt more like a little sister. Shaun was watching them, a faint smile on his face. "Congratulations." Jaime said to him and he thanked her.

"Come on then, where's the Doctor? And Rose?" Donna asked. "Unfortunately, he took it as literal." John replied. "But you might see him again someday." Jaime nodded and she put her hand into her pocket, pulling out an envelope. "Very soon!" She said and chuckled at Donna's frown. "I know everythin', remember." "It's not going to be some sort of invasion is it?" "Ye'll be fine, both of ye. Here ye go," Jaime handed Donna the envelope. "Weddin' present, from both of us." "What is it?" Donna asked. "Open it!" John told her excitedly, rocking on his feet.

So Donna opened it and found it was a Lottery ticket. "What?" Donna looked annoyed and Shaun seemed curious. "Who knows, ye might get very lucky with it," Jaime winked cheekily. "We borrowed a pound from a lovely fella called Geoffrey." "Geoffrey Noble," John added, noticing their reaction. "Have it," he said. "Have it on me."

Donna was so overcome with emotion that she hugged both of her friends at the same time. Sylvia was crying and Wilf looked misty eyed. "Thank you! Will you be coming to the reception?" Donna asked. "If you want us too!" John spoke up. "Of course I do, dumbo!" Donna replied and they laughed.

A couple of hours later Jaime said her goodbyes to the Temple/Noble/Motts and returned back to the TARDIS she shared with J.D. Their little girl. The Half-Time Lord in question was just getting off the phone when she closed the door. "Bit rude, tha'." She said. "Runnin' off withou' a word."

"That was the Doctor," John spoke up with a worried expression on his face. "Said he needs our help." Jaime didn't need to ask to know what the Doctor need help with. "Demon's Run." She breathed. "Yes." J.D answered, used to her knowing these things.

Jaime rushed to the console as he sent them into the Vortex. "What are you doing?" He asked when she started messing with the co-ordinates. "We're not goin' there first. We're goin' tae search the Northern side of the United States." Jaime told him and felt his confusion. "What for? What's in the United States?"

"Artron signals. I don't think we'll find her as a baby, too well hidden. But if we're fast enough we can get tae her before she gets sick." John was even more confused. "Trust me!" Jaime uttered. "I know what I'm daeing!"
