I'll try to update tomorrow too, I've nearly finished my exams, so after then, I'll be focussing on completing this story:) I'm also working on a new concept, that I can't wait to share with you guys, but I'll definitely finish this before then, enjoy.

As Carole filled the basin with water, Rachel grabbed the rest of the washing and carried it into the kitchen. Finn and Burt headed into the lounge, whilst Kurt and Blaine went to his room.

"Thank you for dinner Carole, it was lovely."

"You're very welcome Rachel,it was great to finally meet you."

Carole began to wash the dishes as Rachel dries them, neither speaking for a while until Carole broke the silence.

"You know, you don't have to feel ashamed of your burn, it's a part of you and trust me, when people see your scars, they're taken aback for about 20 seconds, then instinctively they accept it, because although it's a part of you it isn't all that makes you, you."

Rachel smiled shyly.

"Really, because there are a lot of judgemental people out there."

"Anyone who doesn't see the wonderful girl you are inside, shouldn't deserve to be around you, you should accept everything that you are because life is too short to be hung up on what others think of you."

"Thanks Carole, I guess I've always been hung up with what people think because I've never met anyone who understands what it's like."

Carole leans over and pulls Rachel into a hug, they both begin to laugh as they can hear Burt and Finn shouting at the television over the football game showing. They finish up the last plate and Carole says:

"Right, let's go relieve our men before they start screaming."

Rachel giggled and they walked into the lounge. Carole sitting on the armchair whilst Rachel tucks herself into Finn's side on the couch.

"You ok?"

"Yeah, great, you?"

"How could I not be, with you in my arms."

Rachel rolls her eyes as Finn smiles down at her.

"What were you and my mom talking about?"

"Just a little girl talk, nothing much."

"Mom, me and Rachel are going to head up and watch a movie ok?"

"Yeah sweetie, that's fine."

Finn and Rachel walk up the stairs hand in hand to his room, Rachel shocked by the sheer tidiness of the room, so much so she gives Finn an incredulous look.

"What?"

"Did you get your mom to clean your room today?"

"No why?"

"I never expected your room to be clean? I don't know why, it just doesn't suit you."

"Sorry? I guess I'm a little OCD."

"It's not anything to apologise for, it was just a shock is all."

"Ok then, now that that's over, can we get to the making out."

Rachel gave him an cheeky smile.

"I thought you wanted to watch a movie with me?"

"Nah, let's not, I'd much rather make out with you instead."

"I think that can be arranged."

Finn heads over to the door, turns and pounces on Rachel, kissing and and leading her over to the bed. They make out for a couple of minutes until Finn begins to kiss down her neck, Rachel letting out breathy moans, as he goes.
