Back to post-canon AUs in which Yami has a body and is back for no apparent reason. Puzzleshipping, with established Devotionshipping and (mentions of established) Ardentshipping. Because I've never written Devotionshipping before, but it IS one of my secondary shippings... XD (Anzu x Honda is so cute though ASDFGHJKLF) Oh, and brief mentions of past!Onesided!peach and revolution-ships. But try to ignore those. Anzu being Anzu.

#26 - Kiss

Yu-Gi-Oh doesn't belong to me, but to Kazuki Takahashi.

"I know, I know! I'm gonna go over and tell him right now..." Anzu sighed, pulling her hair in frustration, still holding her phone in one hand. "No, I'll still go, I'll just let him down easy when we're out... Yes, Jounouchi, we're still having that double date with Honda and Shizuka." A pause as the other answered, and then a groan of frustration. "I don't think you have to worry about Honda! You know he'd always treat Shizuka right, she means too much to him for him to mess this up on purpose..." She looked up and blinked, realizing she was already outside the game shop. "Well, I'm gonna go now, I'm here! I love you too! I'll see you at six!" Hanging up the phone, she knocked on the door.

No answer.

'Huh?' she thought to herself. 'That's odd... He was supposed to meet me here...' She tested the door, finding it unlocked. Either he'd just not heard her knock, or there was some kind of trouble... Either way, it was best for her to just go in. Yuugi had told her that she could come over whenever she wanted and she had surprised him on random occasions before, so she didn't see any problems with it.

"Hello..?" She waited for an answer. No-one. 'He must be upstairs. Maybe him and Atem are dueling or something... Or working on their deck for that tournament next week...'

The previous day, Yuugi had asked her to meet him at the café on this day, and she'd agreed, hoping to maybe give it a chance. In truth, she'd given up on pursuing Yuugi about a year ago, and then Atem after he returned and admitted that he wasn't interested when she confessed how she felt. She'd actually developed a crush on Jounouchi, which turned to love, keeping it concealed in fear that he wouldn't feel the same way. She was afraid of his reaction being the same as Atem's.

But when Jounouchi had asked her out a few hours later... Of course she'd said yes! ...Which left her in quite the predicament. What about Yuugi?

Anzu ascended the steps quickly, eyes scanning for the location of either of her friends. She had to tell Yuugi about Jounouchi... Before it got out of hand.

"Ngh..."

She smiled. 'Bingo.' Walking over to his bedroom door, she frowned. Why was it closed? He was expecting her, so it was only natural that he'd keep it open, knowing she'd just sneak into the house. Ah, well. Hands clasped around the handle, she opened the door.

...And froze.

She wasn't expecting that.

Yuugi had Atem backed against the wall, kissing him fiercely. The other was kissing back just as strongly, and Atem flipped their positions, now trapping Yuugi against the wall. Both were shirtless. They both laughed childishly for a moment before Yuugi caught sight of Anzu.

It became awkward incredibly fast.

"Umm..." Yuugi awkwardly freed himself from his boyfriend's clutches. "This isn't how I was going to tell you..."

She blinked.

"...Um... What?"

"I'm over my crush on you, I guess..." He blurted out. "Me and Yami have been together for a while, now. I planned on telling you today at the café... Sorry..?"

She blinked again. Silence rang through, leaving all three extremely awkward.

Then she laughed.

"Phew!" She giggled. "This makes things so much easier. I was actually thinking of the same thing! Jounouchi asked me out yesterday."

The tension in the room relaxed, and Atem rested his chin on the smaller's head, arms wrapped around him. "Jounouchi-Kun?" He asked curiously.

"Yup." An idea struck Anzu, and she smiled. "Hey... Wanna go on a triple date with us, Honda and Shizuka at six?"

Done! XD

How was it? My original idea was to have Yuugi actually plan for it to be a date, but for Yami to kiss him and keep him distracted before he got chance to go... I think. Or was this my original idea and then it reformed it in my mind and then went back to this? Okay, right now I have no ida, but it doesn't really matter. I just hope you liked it, and as always, give me feedback! I always love to know what you guys think! Any requests you have for later drabbles or ideas for sequels for any WILL be considered! Such as for Stuffed Animal, a lot of you guys on both deviantART and here have already given me ideas for where to take that next, and I really appreciate it.
