For the Monthly Slash-tastic Drabble-athon Competition (2. great hall)

He watched the other boy from across the hall.

No one knew of their relationship yet, and truth be told, they preferred to keep it that way. If it got out – well, there was just too much chance that it would get out of Hogwarts to the press, and they really didn't want to deal with the world deciding their relationship was their business.

The blond tilted his neck as he turned to talk to the girl sitting beside him. It wouldn't have been significant to anyone else, but to him…the other boy had made sure to tilt his neck towards him. If that wasn't a clear invitation, he didn't know what was.

The blond was making sure to tease him as much as he could, and he would make sure to give him a piece of his mind once they were alone. Well – after he got in a good snog, that was.

"Harry? Are you listening to me?"

Hermione's voice dragged his attention away from the Slytherin table and Draco. He knew she hadn't meant it – the only reason she was forcing him to look away from the blond boy was because she had no clue what was going on between them – but that didn't stop a part of Harry from resenting her.

He was having a good time staring at Draco, and now…"Sorry Hermione," he replied, forcing a smile on his face as he turned to face her. "You were saying?"

He'd definitely have to have a word with Draco. If nothing else, they really needed to tell their best friends.
