Ack! Sorry for that! I wasn't able to update yesterday as I didn't get much time on the computer yesterday... And I couldn't finish the drabble on my tablet because it's a bitch. To make up for it, this one's not been shortened, and is almost double the usual drabble length... Teehee. Does this count as a double drabble, then? I doubt it; aren't those 200 words? *Shrugs*

I was amazed by the amount of reviews I got last time! Although I think a part of that was just the SOPA waning. Remember to sign and/or repost the petition everywhere, guys. There's a chance it's a hoax, but it's better not to take that risk, right? Remember, the link's at the start of the previous chapter if he need it. I'll mention more about the reviews last chapter at the end of this one.

I'll place setting and pairing/s in the italicalized part from now on... It's much easier to notice, probably.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy! ^^

Yu-Gi-Oh doesn't belong to me, but to Kazuki Takahashi.

He had simply been walking to his next class when he noticed it.

As usual, his gaze fell on the Millennium Puzzle, which he held fondly, despite it being firmly strung around his neck. Now and then, he would strike up a conversation with the spirit resting in the item, whispering of course; little Yuugi Mutou was already seen as a freak by most of the school, what with his short stature, his small amount of close friends, and his obsession with gaming. It didn't really make sense that bullies would use these traits as an excuse to bully him, but then again, high school sucked.

Which is why he almost had a heart attack when he collided with a student in senior year due to his lack of attention for his surroundings.

Angered, beady black eyes glared at him with dangerous intent, the smell of cigarettes strong on his breath. He had unruly black hair that looked like it hadn't been touched in weeks. Perhaps it hadn't.

"Sorry!" Yuugi squeaked, despite knowing his efforts were futile.

"Why you-" He flinched, expecting the worst. However, barely moments later, the older student's eyes widened in shock, finally noticing who he was. "Ah! It's you!" He backed away slightly. "Look, it's fine, just watch where you're going next time!" Before he had any chance to register what was going on, the older boy had fled. Yuugi frowned, an idea coming to mind.

"...Mou Hitori No Boku?" He frowned at the puzzle. "Have you been playing yami no games again?"

His other half materialized from the puzzle, fear seeming to take hold of the spirit; Yuugi could be scary when mad. Especially at him. "Ah..." He rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly. "Not since the incident with that pervert who attacked Anzu three months ago..." Yuugi raised a questioning eyebrow, doubting the Other Yuugi's words. "I'm telling you the truth, Aibou." He smiled slightly. "I think they've finally got the message. Maybe they'll stop bothering you, now."

Yuugi smiled back at his friend, absentmindedly stroking the puzzle. "Yeah... I hope so."

Maybe now, he could finally get some peace at school, even if he had none outside of it, what with everyone always trying to take over the world.

It had been three years since then. In that time, they had finally got rid of the shadow games once and for all, and the Other Yuugi - now known as Atem - had departed to the afterlife. Everyone was coping fine despite their sadness, but were nonetheless delighted when he was brought back, found in Honda's house, awkwardly wrapped in the bed sheets. Luckily for him, no-one had been home at the time, and he'd been found when Honda and the others returned from Domino Theme Park. They'd hastily gathered some clothes for him and asked him how he came back, along with why he was in Honda's house... But he admitted that he didn't even know.

Under the false name of 'Mutou Yami', he spent the next half a year making up for lost time, and he became truly a part of the group again, just how it should be.

...Except for one small difference...

Yuugi and Yami finally had the courage to admit their feelings to one another, and were soon a couple.

Yes, everything was peaceful... Just how it should be-

"I'm bored!" Yami whined, glaring slightly with his arms folded as they walked home from school. Yuugi shook his head a little in frustration, tugging on his boyfriend's arm to encourage him to hurry up.

"It's better than almost getting killed all the time..." He muttered, and Yami nodded glumly.

"That's true..." Yuugi smiled, letting go of the former pharaoh's arm and walking at a faster pace, which caused Yami to grumble slightly, hurrying to catch up. "Still, I wish there was more to do with our time... I'm not used to things being so peaceful."

Just as Yuugi was about to reply he found himself walking into a very familiar situation - literally.

"Ouch!" He got to his feet after being knocked over by the force of the collision, looking up to see a man who looked barely two years older than himself glaring at him with a lethal expression.

"Stay the hell outta my way," He growled threateningly, grabbing Yuugi by the collar in one swift movement. The boy cursed silently under his breath; it looked like his reputation for landing people in asylums or worse was finally over.

Yami flinched as he saw his partner's eyes dim in defeat, finally deciding to do something. No-one hurt his Aibou and got away from it unharmed. Perhaps it would be a good time to put his shadow powers to good use once more...

"Hey!" He snapped in a rage as the bully spun around to see who was intruding on the attack. He smirked slightly upon seeing Yami; he was the same height as Yuugi, and despite the look of absolute rage in his burning violet eyes, didn't really seem like he could do much to hurt him. "Get off my boyfriend." He returned the bully's smirk. " Why don't we settle this with a game?"

At that point, he attempted to tap into his shadow magic, and his eyes widened at his discovery.

Nothing. Moments passed. Still, nothing.

"Enough of this bullshit!" The aggressor yelled, punching Yuugi square in the face with enough force to knock him unconscious, before wheeling around to face Yami. "Well, well... What do we have here?"

"...Crap." He gulped; his small stature wasn't exactly ideal for a real fight. He grit his teeth and his eyes snapped shut, expecting the worst... But before the punch had even landed, he found his world fading into darkness.

Yuugi awoke with a groan, coming to the conclusion that he hadn't been unconscious long; the sky looked no different.

Suddenly, curious red eyes appeared from seemingly nowhere as he found himself in the arms of-

"...Yami?" But that didn't make sense! Yami's eyes were purple, not red. Nor were the tips of his hair usually such a bright crimson.

"Ssh, Aibou..." he soothed quietly, kissing him on the forehead gently. "He is dealt with. No-one harms my Aibou and my Mou Hitori No Ore and gets away with it."

He spoke the two usual nicknames as if addressing two different people rather than just Yuugi, and he opened his mouth to speak, only to realize that his love's eyes were once again purple. Yami blinked in confusion.

"...Huh? Aibou? What just happened?"

"I don't know... Maybe our adventure isn't as finished as we thought."

Again, I'm sorry that I'm a day late! Please don't hate me! Is this one any good? It's part of a plot bunny I got for a mult-chapter fic before that's based on season 0 but set post canon with Mobiumshipping, but I know that I lose motivation for things really quickly if they follow the same AU for too long, so... I try to get them down in drabbles as a sort of test to see if you guys approve.

Wow... *Tries to count the reviews for chapter 33 in the mix of reviews for other chapters that just sorta happened* I got... Umm... 17..? Wait, that doesn't seem right... Well, I checked again, and it is! Holy shit, everyone! Thanks so much for reviewing! New readers and regular reviewers, along with those who normally stay silent... Thanks. I appreciate every single one of you, and I almost had a heart attack when I saw how many of you reviewed! The total amount of reviews I got since I posted #33 was 24 (Some of you reviewed for various chapters, and I got one SOPA warning from someone who hadn't actually read the story, although still gotta thank them since it helps raise awareness I guess), and this story has, as of now, 207 reviews altogether. Whoa! I wasn't expecting it to hit the 200 mark until this one was uploaded, but it smashed it! Please guys, continue to review, it feels like Christmas came early right now. I FREAKING LOVE YOU ALL! *Glomps everyone*

In other news, IYIYA (I'm Happy If You Are) is updated. For those of you who don't know, it's my other main story, which is a collection for Puzzleshipping one shots that don't bash Anzu. Be sure to check if you're interested.

Thanks to everyone who reviewed! *Checking through reviews for chapter 33 again* Let's see. Thanks to all those who reviewed last chapter...

AnimeHannah, ChangeOfHe4rt, Dark-Wiccan-Goddess, TexasDreamer01, YamiNoIcexIcuo, CynthiaTheButton, samaurai, TheCrystalEevee, snow-kim, PhantomBrat, TigerDragon4, Scaehime, CynthiaTheButton (Again...), Lunagale, happychica, Doragon-chan and PieIsAwesome8234! (By the way, your penname is the meaning of life itself. Pie really IS awesome.)

Phew... Did I get everyone? I hope so... Anyway, please review this chapter. I'm considering making the word cap 1,000 starting from now, as a lot of you said you don't think a word cap matters, while a few said that a word cap is still good, sometimes. I love you guys, you really give me something to look forward to after I update each chapter, and I hope you'll stick around for the next 66 drabbles to come! ^.~
