Chapter 7: Momma Bear
Nessie's POV
In the present...
I had never been so angry before in all my life! No one, and I mean no one, hurts my son and gets away with it!
"Nessie calm down" I heard grandpa say.
"Calm down?! How can I calm down when I just found out that that no good piece of crap has not only been bullying my son but also broke his arm with a baseball bat?!" My voice was getting louder and louder with each passing word.
"First of all you don't want to do something that you'll even eventually regret" Carlisle said. "and second of all you are scaring your son"
I looked over at my little Carlisle and grandpa was right. My son was shaking in fear. I forced my voice down.
"Fine but I'm still going to go do something right now. I will not let him get away with this" I said angrily before storming out.
My family quickly came after me. I stormed across the street to Ritchie's house. I pounded on the door the the second I reached it.
Of course the idiot himself had to be the one that answered.. The only thing stopping me from punching him out right then and there is the fact that I'd get arrested for assaulting a minor. Not that my family would allow me to punch him anyway.
"What is going on here?" his mother asked.
"What's going on here is the fact that I just found out that your son and his friends have been bullying my son and that he is responsible for breaking my son's arm!" I shouted in her face.
"That is not true" she said.
"Actually it is true" grandpa said. "I witnessed the bullying earlier"
"and we also overheard your son threatening him not to tell anyone about what really happened to his arm" Jacob said angrily.
"That is not true" Ritchie's mom said.
"Actually mom, it is true" Ritchie said.
His mom turned towards him. "What?" she asked in shock.
"It is true, every last word of it" he said.
"Why?" his mom asked.
"Why do you even care?" Ritchie said angrily. "It's not like you and dad are ever around. It's not like you two actually care about me and what I do" he said before storming back inside.
"I'm sorry" his mother said before going back in. We could hear her calling after her son.
It was clear that boy had problems that were mostly likely the cause of his bullying behavior. Problems that I would've never known about.
"Let's go home" I said.
Nobody said another word as they followed me back to the house.
As soon as we arrive back at the house I have my son get ready for bed.
After that I get ready for bed myself. I laid in bed for a while and I couldn't help but think of all the day's events. I still couldn't believe that I had been reunited with my family. After all these years I've finally been reunited with my family.
That night I fell asleep with a smile on my face.
It was the ringing of the doorbell that woke me up. I quickly rubbed the sleep from my eyes and got up.
All of my family were still there of course. It didn't appear that they had moved at all since last night.
I opened the door and was shocked when I saw that it was Diego, the vampire that had sent me back in time all those years ago.
"Diego" I said in shock. All of my family was at my side in an instant.
"Renesmee" he said. "I've came to check on you and see how you were doing" he said.
"How did you know where I was?" I asked in shock.
"Once the person I send back in time is done time traveling I know what time period they ended up in. You didn't go back very far so I knew that there was a good chance that you were still alive. So I've been searching for you to see how your life has been"
"Can you bring her back?" Jacob asked.
"Unfortunately I can't do that. Only the version of me that exists in time can attempt to send her back. The best way for you to help her is to go back in time yourselves and search for me" Diego said.
"Then I want to go back. I need to see my Nessie" Jacob said.
"I'll go back to. I need to go back and make things right with her" dad said.
"Me to" mom said.
"and I want to go to" grandpa said. "I need to apologize to her and let her know how sorry I am and how much I love her. I also want to help her with her pregnancy" he added.
"I must warn you all that there is a huge chance that I may fail to send you to that time period. It's nearly impossible to control time travel" Diego warned.
"We'll risk it" Jacob said
