Wow, I' surprised I updated today. My art exam starts tomorrow and runs through until Friday, so I wasn't sure if I'd have the time since I needed to get my prototype finished, but here I am! This one has a huge explanation in the setting part of the drabble summary, so prepare for that. XD

I've read all of your reviews, and I've seen what some of you guys say you'd like to see more of. Hopefully this collection will receive more Mobiumshipping (Possibly pre-establshed; with some of my other ones I've tried to focus a lot on the Yami/Atem aspect of it as I've noticed in most Mobium fics it almost seems like a Yuugi/Yami and Yuugi/Atem fic).

Another thing pointed out to me by happychica was the amount of Anzu in these. Umm... That was unintentional, I'm not even a big fan of Anzu, just an anti-basher. Thanks for pointing that one out...This almost ended up like that, too... But I did a little tweaking in order to change that. XD

Anyway, please enjoy! The background plot of this one is dark... But it's humorous and fluffy. :3

#47 - Soul

Words - 1000

Rating - T

Setting - AU which breaks off from anime canon sometime during the doma arc. Yuugi and his other self are somehow both affected by the orichalcos and instead of just dueling, they overthrow Dartz' plans together, but completely lose it. After getting together they decide to find a way to get the Other Yuugi his own body, but have to steal all the Millenium items for themselves to do it. (They were taken back by the owners after they both lost it). Their friends joined them somewhere along the way.

Shipping/s - Heavy Puzzleshipping, other pairings hinted (Ardentshipping, Polarshipping, and Supportshipping if you squint.)

Warning/s - Umm... Stuff. Uses the crappy 4kids names to try and get across that they act a little darker (4kids may not be dark but I hate the dub names), and Joey swears a little towards the end And again, heavy Puzzleshipping.

Disclaimer - Yu-Gi-Oh! doesn't belong to me, but to Kazuki Takahashi.

Sometimes, I think stealing the Millennium items was the best idea me and Yami ever had. Only the scales left (Damn Shadi, resisting us for so long!), and we would finally have all seven, and then maybe we'd be able to figure out how to Yami his own body.

But other times, I question it. More specifically why we allowed them to join us some time after we went rogue.

It turned out to be ridiculously stupid idea to give Téa the key. It was meant as huge middle finger to Shadi for screwing up her soul room the first time, as well as a good opportunity for her and the others to see what their own soul rooms looked like. We'd all visited everyone's soul rooms at least once. It was always fun to watch Téa dancing around her mind's darkened dance studio. And I had to admit, it was sort of sweet that even after everything, Joey still had several photos of his sister hung up around the room. I've not become heartless like some of the others who aren't part of our little group seem to think. After all, only an idiot wouldn't be able to see that I'm crazy about Yami. Why the hell would I be doing all of this if I didn't love him so much?!

Tristan has a couple of guns in his own soul room - I think he was telling us of his dream to one day join the army - and Joey was rather pissed off when he found a picture of Serenity in there, too. Of course, we all had a few group photos of us all together, but this was a lone picture of Serenity... In a bikini. I think the only reason Joey didn't just stab him with the rod was because he had a few even more provocative pictures of Mai in this own soul room... How the hell he even envisioned those in his mind I'll never know, I highly doubted Mai would ever let him near her like that. After all, we were on the run.

Yami's soul room was still rather maze-like, but it made for some rather fun games when we all felt like we needed to lighten up. And the games were even more fun when there was just me and him; the prize was always that much better... If you catch my drift.

My own soul room? It looked mostly the same as it always had, except, like the others, it had become much darker, a broken light switch on the wall near the door as if to symbolize that we were too far gone now, that we had accepted the darkness that is always present as soon as the lights go off. There was also often a slightly greenish glow emanating from who-knows-where in the room, for each of us.

But back to our mistake.

It just so happened that we had all found somewhere safe to hide out for the night, and me and Yami had decided to forgo our usual 'games'. We had immediately rushed to my soul room and began a heated battle for dominance when I thought I heard something scurrying about beyond my mind's room.

I froze, sitting up and making Yami pout; I'd been halfway through pulling his shirt over his head when I'd heard it.

"Aibouuuuuuu...~" He whined as I shifted, allowing him to also sit up from where he'd been pinned beneath me. "What's wrong?"

I pressed one finger to his lips, silencing him. "Ssssh. I thought I heard someone."

There were a few more moments of silence before I dismissed the noise as my imagination, leaning back down again only to yelp as Yami flipped our positions. "Never let you guard down, Aibou," He teased with a small smirk, making me glare playfully.

"That's what I was doing!"

He snorted. "You didn't have your attention where it counts, though."

I grinned at him, dragging him down for another kiss.

thunk

We both snapped to attention immediately, checking around the room for the cause of the noise, when-

"Joey!"

I blinked. How the hell had Joey got here?! Téa was the one in possession of the Millennium Key. But sure enough, there he was, groaning as he rubbed his head. It appeared that several board games stored in wooden boxes had fallen off the shelf and landed on his head. I tutted.

"Joey..."

He flinched. "Eh... Sorry, guys. Last time we all came here I sorta left a couple of magazines, and Téa lent me the key... She said that good friends help each other out or summin'..."

Yami snorted. "Is that was she told you? Sorry, Joey, but you just got tricked. Téa knows that me and Aibou like our... Alone time, around now on Saturdays. This was probably her plan all long."

"And everyone loses," I growled in frustration, glaring up art Yami, who immediately took several glances at both me and Joey, before awkwardly sitting down next to me.

"Damn... That bitch!" Joey glared at the golden item in his hands. "What the hell's she playing at?!"

And with that, the blonde held up the Millennium Key, vanishing in a flash of light as his mind returned to reality.

"She doesn't get tired of this, does she?" My boyfriend asked with a grin, and I laughed.

"I guess she doesn't. But if she ends up sending Tristan here next..." I once again growled, this time possessively as I tackled Yami down to the bed. "I won't even care if anyone's here."

Yami blinked, slowly registering what had just happened, before he whined. "Aibouuuuuuuuuuu...~"

"Seems like you're the one who needs to pay attention."

He opened his mouth to protest, only to be silenced with a kiss.

"Hmm..."

Tristan frowned as he saw Joey's irritated, if not slightly disturbed, expression. "Hey, what's wrong?"

Joey glared slightly. "Téa is. That bitch just tricked me into walking in on..!"

"Looking for something?" Tristan's mouth curled up into a smirk. "Some swimsuit magazines, perhaps? Of course, me and Téa stashed them in my soul room-"

Joey saw red as he angrily tacked his friend. "TRISTAN!"

Heehee... XD At first, it was going to be Téa who walked in on them, but as I said, happychica pointed out the many instances Anzu has been everywhere... O.o I think I prefer this version, anyway.

Sorry if the plot of tis one seems a little... Bizarre. It was based on the of my favorite Puzzleshipping pictures ever (I sadly can't find the source... :/), which was basically Orichalcos!Yuugi and Orichalcos!Yami being badass-looking and each holding one of the two cards. And Yuugi looked freaking BADASS. At first glance I actually thought he was Yami, but then I looked more closely and majorly flipped out. Not even Yami looked as freaking badass as he did.

This short piece was going to reflect that more, but... I wanted it to be more lighthearted. Originally it had a lot more cussing in Yuugi's narration, but I decided it was already T-rated enough, and i know I have a few younger readers here, there was no reason to give them even more swearing than I already did in previous drabbles, I seem to o that waaaaaay too much.

I'm not sure if this will ever become more. I'd try to, but they'd need a real motive, and on top of that... I haven't actually watched all of season 4 yet, only the part where Yami loses Yuugi, so I don't really know how orichalcos works. All I know is what I learned in those couple of episodes, along with the undoubtedly inaccurate fanfic information in which it just turns Yuugi into a total seme who violently jumps Yami. Haha.

So... Yeah.

And I'd just like to reply to Lunagale a second (I wanted to reply but you ahve no account so I couldn't PM you...) - I normally prefer to put The other Yuugi or Atem, but The Other Yuugi is so tedious to write... And I discovered the name Yami before I found out it was the creation of 4kids, and by then I was too attached to the name to turn back... Henceforth why I still call him Yami. XD And about him saying 'crap'... He actually swears quite a lot in the japanese anime, and I remember Yuugi saying crap a few times himself in the manga... For example when he was solving the puzzle after Ushio beat him up, he muttered that eh felt like crap. That's why I got him to say it; I personally do think he would. Still, that's just my opinion XD

Thanks to everyone for their lovely reviews, and thanks to all those silent readers out there too, it means a lot to me that you take the time to read this.
