"Paige no, I can't anymore. I'm too sensitive." Emily whined as she tried to close her legs so Paige wouldn't be able to touch her anymore.
"Your smell is driving me crazy right now Em. I can't stop." Paige said as she tried to pull the girls legs apart. "It hurts how much I want you." Paige said as she kissed Emily's thighs.
"Paige look at me." Emily said to the girl whose eyes were squeezed shut. Her eyes popped open when she felt Emily's hand on her cheek. "Come up here and just cuddle with me for a little while."
After what looked like an internal debate, Paige's eyes looking between Emily's naked center and her eyes, the girl gave in and moved up Emily's body until she was face to face with the girl. Paige layed her head on Emily's chest so that she could hear her heartbeat and curled her body into the girl. After a few minutes Emily felt the weight of Paige's head fully settling on her chest, the girl giving into her tiredness. Emily had just fallen asleep when Paige jerked upright in the bed. Her face was turned to the window and Emily sat up to see what the girl was doing.
"Paige, what's wrong?" Emily asked as Paige moved out of the bed and towards the window.
"Don't you hear it?" Paige asked, eyes never leaving the window.
"Hear what Paige?" Emily asked.
"That howling." Paige said.
"I don't hear anything." Emily said when she stepped beside the girl, wrapping a blanket around them both. "Come back to bed."
Paige pulled away from the girl and stepped closer to the window. Emily made to move closer to the girl again when Paige took off towards the door, pulling it one just as she turned into her wolf form and bolted out of the room.
"Paige!" Emily screamed as she watched the wolf run out of the room. Emily threw clothes on as fast as she could and ran to the living room. Stepping into the porch she yelled for Paige. After 10 minutes she knew that it was no use and turned to walk back into the house when she heard a snapping noise behind her. Turning around, she could make out the glow of eyes in the distance. Emily knew that it wasn't Paige. She backed up to the door as slowly as she could, but her shoes got caught in a nail on the porch and she fell to her back. Looking up just in time to see a dark wolf running towards her.
As the wolf made to jump onto the porch a white blur collided with its side and sent it flying back into the yard, knocking into a pillar on the porch and snapping it in half. A portion of the roof from the front porch collapsed and pinned Emily down, the girl now unconscious. Paige turned to look at Emily before the darker wolf slammed into her, knocking her down and settling above her, it's powerful jaws around her neck. Paige felt pressure before she felt the body above her move off her.
"I want her awake and watching when I kill you." The dark wolf turned, and standing before Paige was Bobby. "She will be mine."
Bobby slammed his fist into the side of Paige's head, causing the girl pain and making her close her eyes just long enough for him to run away. When Paige got her bearings back she shifted back to her form and scrambled to get to Emily.
"Em?" Paige said, crawling up the steps. Paige lowered her hand to her side where she was feeling a sharp pain. She hissed and pulled her hand away, seeing that it was covered in blood. Emily first, that was Paige's thought as she made her way to the top landing of the porch steps. Getting to her feet she began moving pieces of the roof off of the girl until she saw Emily's body. The only damage that Paige could see was a small cut above Emily's eyebrow that was bleeding. Paige bent down and picked Emily up, fighting off the pain in her side. Entering the house Paige layed Emily down on the couch and sat beside her. After a few minutes, Emily opened her eyes. Paige layed her hand on Emily's cut, feeling her own skin above her eye split open and begin healing itself. Removing her hand from Emily she saw that her cut was completely gone.
"What did you do?" Emily asked as she sat up and watched the skin on the girls face heal.
"I healed you." Paige said. Emily watched as Paige's skin closed and the cut disappeared. "I need you to call Spencer back."
"Ok. Why?" Emily said as she began typing a text to the girl and sent it.
"That was Bobby." Paige said as she stood and began pacing the floor. "And I think he did something to me." Paige turned and lifted her shirt up to show Emily the large cut on her side.
"Paige!" Emily yelled as she walked towards the girl. "Come into the bathroom."
"Emily I think he used wolfsbane. It isn't healing and it hurts like hell." Paige said as Emily set her down on the tubs edge and began running water into the tub. When she got the right amount that she wanted she stripped Paige's shirt off of her and sat her in the water. She began cleaning off the area around the wound, the water turning a red tint.
"It won't stop bleeding Paige." Emily said as she checked her phone to see that Spencer had not texted her back.
"You need to use the tweezers and get whatever is in there out. And then use what Hanna used to clean it." Paige said as she winced at Emily poking at her.
"Ok." Emily began looking around the bathroom for the boric acid the now kept around. Finding two bottles and the tweezers she made her way back to the tub. "You ready?"
"As I will ever be." Paige said, rolling so Emily had full access to the wound. Emil used her finger first to see what she felt before using the tweezers to grab the small object. Paige let out a few whimpers as Emily grabbed ahold of the object and began pulling it out. "Em, hurry." Paige grunted out. Emily freed the bloody piece of medal and threw it onto a tissue beside the tub before she turned back to Paige and poured the boric acid on the wound. Paige let out a howl as the acid burned into her wound and cleared it of the offending wolfsbane. "Fuck." Paige howled.
"Almost done babe." Emily said as she rinsed out the last of the blood from the cut. She then had Paige stand under the shower for a few minutes to wash off the blood and dirt before she pulled her out and dried her off, holding a towel to the gash. "We need to cover this."
"Emily what is that?" Paige said as she moved to pick up the object that was in her side a few seconds ago.
"Hold still Paige!" Emily yelled as she applied slight pressure to the cut to make Paige pay attention.
"Alright!" Paige winced at the pressure. After the wound was covered with gauze and tape Emily made Paige go lay down as she cleaned up the bloody object that Bobby used. Looking at the object Emily now had cleaned in her hands, she could see that it was a charm of sorts. A little medal shaped arrow with a symbol on the tip. Holding it closer to her face Emily saw that it was a large "S" with an x through the center. It was as big as the girls Palm as she carried it to Paige's room where the girl was sitting it bed waiting for Emily.
"Does this mean anything to you?" Emily asked as she handed to object to Paige.
"No. Maybe the symbol means something though." Paige said as she rolled it over in her hands.
"Let's wait for Spencer and the gang before we do anything else with it. I text her and told her to wait until morning, that we were good now. She said they would be here first thing." Emily said as she placed the object on the bed side table before she turned and curled into Paige's side.
"Are we ever going to just have a normal year?" Paige asked with a chuckle.
"You are far from normal Paige." Emily replied. "Let's just get some rest now, ok? You kind of wore me out earlier." Emily said, resting her head on Paige's chest.
"I'm not totally sure that I like how my emotions are on full-moons. I mean, the first one caused me to claw your face. Now this one, I feel like I can't be close enough to you." Paige admitted.
"Your dad said it would get easier, remember? We just have to give you time to get used to I don't mind being close to you Paige." Emily said. "Now go to sleep."
