"And you have no idea what this means?" Spencer asked from her spot at the kitchen table.

"I've never seen it before." Paige said from the seat across from her. "But he shoved it in my side." Emily sat down on Paige's lap and began eating her breakfast.

"Sounds like he was trying to send a message." Toby said as he looked over the small arrow. "This symbol looks familiar. I can't remember where I saw it." Toby tossed the small arrow to Caleb.

"Yea, it does look familiar." Caleb said as he flipped it over in his hands. He set the piece back in the middle of the table and went back to his own breakfast.

"Are you going to eat?" Emily whispered to Paige after poking the girl in the cheek to get her attention.

"I'm not really that hungry, actually." Paige said as she rested her forehead against Emily's shoulder.

"Are you ok?" Emily asked. "Your never not hungry."

"I'm just tired, thats all. I think I might go lay down for a little bit actually." Paige said as she shifted Emily off of her lap and walked out of the kitchen.

"You sure you cleaned all the wolfsbane out?" Hanna asked.

"Yea, it healed up. Can't even tell that that was in her." Emily said as she pointed to the arrow on the table. "She hasn't really been sleeping well. I know your guys pattern of sleep is a little different than mine, but sometimes I get up at like, one in the morning, and she is wide awake sitting in the living room."

"She is still adjusting. It is a big process to go through. A big change. Just give her some time." Caleb said as he placed his hand over Emily's before getting up and putting his dishes in the sink. "I am going to go out for a little bit. Hanna, want to go with me?"

"Yea. Call me if you need anything." Hanna said to Emily as she walked out with Caleb.

"I think we are going to go out too. You should go be with her Emily." Toby said as he and Spencer walked out the same door as Caleb and Hanna. Emily did the dishes from breakfast before she made her way to Paige's bedroom. When she opened the door she saw the girl sitting on her bed, propped up by pillows and using her laptop, typing away frantically.

"I thought you were laying down?" Emily asked as she made her way over to the bed. "Paige? What are you doing?" Emily asked after not getting a reaction from the girl. "Paige?" she said more firmly while pulling the laptop away from Paige.

"What?" Paige asked.

"What are you doing? Did you even hear me come in and talking to you?" Emily asked.

"No. Sorry. I was looking up things about the arrow." Paige said avoiding looking at Emily.

"Then why is your browser page opened on a website that explains imprinting?" Emily asked. Paige kept her head down. "Paige, talk to me."

"I feel like I'm losing you!" Paige said after a pause. "I feel like our connection is breaking."

"Spencer said that Bobby being around.." Emily started before Paige cut her off.

"It was before Bobby turned up. At least I think it did. I don't know anymore!" Paige said as she got up from the bed and began pacing. Emily kneeled on the bed but didn't get up, wanting Paige to get everything off her chest. "This feeling, this uncertanty, it's making me crazy! And I know that the full moon doesn't help these feelings, but I literally feel like I am being pulled in a hundered different directions. I want to stay with you, I want to go with Spencer, Toby and Caleb and I want to go rip Bobby's head off!" Paige stood in the middle of her room breathing hard, tears moving slowly down her cheek. "The need to protect you is winning Emily. I know you don't want me to take care of it, to kill him, you don't want me to be that person, but if something were to happen to you, I'd die Em. Dad said that when mom broke their connection, he felt his heart break in two. I can't live without you Emily. I love you. And if that means killing Bobby, to keep you, then I have to do it."

Emily climbed off the bed and walked over to Paige, putting her hands up on the girls face and wiping her tears away, before pulling her into a tight hug. Several minutes passed as Emily held Paige as the girl cried out all the pent up things she had been feeling over the past few weeks. Emily whispered comforting things in her ear as she rubbed her hands up and down the girls back. Emily pulled back, Paige letting out an animal like whimper at the loss of contact, only to pull the girl to the bed and lay her down. Emily crawled on top of Paige, and felt strong arms lock around her lower back. "Just relax and sleep Paige. I'll be right here, I promise."

"Where did you get this?" Lisa said as she walked into Paige's room. Emily was sitting beside Paige. The girl had her arm wrapped tightly around Emily's leg, sleeping soundly.

"Please, I just got her to sleep two hours ago." Emily said as she rubbed Paige's shoulder, making sure the girl didn't stir. "She, had a bit of a break down earlier."

"it's about time." Lisa said. "Her father finally had his breakdown, and I didn't see him for three hours. At least she stayed around."

"I wouldn't let her leave." Emily said, looking down at the sleeping girl.

"Where did you get this?" Lisa asked again, holding up the arrow.

"Bobby attacked us last night. He stabbed that into Paige's side, it was covered in wolfsbane. No one seems to know what the symbol means, althoigh Toby and Caleb said it looked familiar." Emily explained.

"I know what it means." Lisa said.
