"She must be really tired if your out her and she is still asleep." Lisa said as she and Emily took a seat in the living room.

"I think she is emotionally exhausted." Emily admitted.

"It's going to be hard for awhile, until she adjusts and gets used to her new being." Lisa said.

"So, how do you know where this is from?" Emily asked, pointing to the arrow on the coffee table between them.

"It's my family crest. The "S" with the ex through it. "My maiden name was Sawyer. That is my dads hunting arrow."

"Hunting what?" Emily asked.

"Werewolves." Lisa said. "He vowed to kill every last one after I told him about me and Nick. Swore he would succeed. That we would never have children to pass that gene onto."

"That's why you left your family?" Emily asked and Lisa nodded. "You knew he would have killed Paige if he found out you had children with Nick."

"Yes. I prayed that Paige wouldn't ever show signs of changing. That we could finally put my family behind us."

"So why does Bobby, a werewolf, have your fathers arrow?" Emily asked as she picked it back up.

"He used to use weres to do his dirty work, and in the end kill them off after they did the job." Lisa said, starring at the object in Emily's hand. "Maybe he has hired Bobby."

"Maybe…" Emily was cut off when Paige screamed her name from down the hall before running into the living room.

"Emily!" Paige yelled, not noticing the girl sitting on the couch.

"Paige, I'm here. It's ok." Emily said, closing the distance between them.

"I couldn't sense you. I thought something happened." Paige rambled out.

"Paige, honey. The only reason that your connection with Emily would go away, is if Emily herself would break it." Lisa said fro we spot on the couch.

"And that won't ever happen my love." Emily said, kissing Paige on the cheek, lifting the girls hand to settle on her chest so Paige would feel her heartbeat.

"Then why can't I feel her?" Paige asked. "I'm standing right her with her and I can't feel her!" Paige yelled the last part.

"Honey, you need to calm down and concentrate. That's all it is. Your senses are connected to your feelings. If your anxious, they won't run correctly. Relax and concentrate on Emily's thoughts." Lisa instructed. She was a little worried that Paige was having a hard time controlling her emotions and senses. She watched as Paige stood in front of Emily and closed her eyes, concentrating all her energy on her mate.

"I can't." She said after a few minutes of silence, head hanging low.

"It's ok Paige." Emily said.

"It's not ok, Em! What if something happens to you and I can't be there to protect you because I can't find you!" Paige yelled.

"Then I guess it's a good thing I don't plan on being away from you until this Bobby mess is dealt with." Emily said. "You ever think what it would do to me to lose you, Paige? I would be so lost without you. So until all of this goes away, were together. All times."

"Now you two come sit. Paige I have something rather important to tell you about the arrow." Lisa said as she told the story again after the girls sat on the couch.

"So my grandfather, who I've never met, is trying to kill me?" Paige asked in disbelief. "How did he know I even exsisted?"

"I have no idea. I don't even know how he found us." Lisa said. "As long as he knows where you are, your all in danger. That man will stop at nothing to kill a werewolf."

"We we're not going anywhere. We have to tell Spencer and them. We have to get rid of Bobby, now." Paige said as she stood from the couch and made a b-line for the front door.

"Paige! Wait!" Emily yelled, following the girl. "I'll go with you."

"You have to stay here Em. You have to stay with my mom. It's the only way I know how to keep you safe." Paige stopped walking when she felt a hand on her arm.

"I'm going with you." Emily said.

"Please Emily. Just stay with my mom. I don't want you to have to see this." Paige pleaded.

"Come back to me." Emily whispered to Paige after pulling her into a tight hug.

"Always." Paige whispered before kissing Emily and running out the front door. When Paige got to the end of her yard she looked towards the woods. "It's my grandfather, dad. I have to take care of this. Please keep our girls safe."

Paige turned into were wolf form and took off in the direction of the lake house that Spencer, Toby, Caleb and Hanna we're currently living in. In a matter of minutes Paige was at the back door, bursting through it and startling Toby, who was standing at the stove cooking.

"Paige what the hell?" Toby asked as he wiped his shirt off.

"Where is everyone?" Paige panted out.

"Their in the living room, why?" Toby asked taking his pot off the stove and turning it off.

"We need to talk." Was all Paige had to say as Toby followed her into the living room. Paige retold them all the information that she had gotten from her mother. "My dad is with them now. We need to take care of this. Tonight." Caleb nodded his head in agreement. They were all tired of Bobby following them and Caleb knew what Paige's grandfather was capable of.

"He killed my parents." Caleb said as Hanna put an arm around him, having already heard the story. "He came to our house one night and just killed them. Mom had me hide when he burst through the door. That's why that symbol on the arrow looked familiar. He had it tattooed on his bicep. I remember it from that night."

"We will go take care of Bobby first. Then we will go find him. We will make him pay Caleb." Paige said with a fire behind her eyes.

"Ok. Let's go hunting." Spencer said as she stood and walked to the door followed by the rest.

"Hanna maybe you should bring all the boric acid we have here, just in case Bobby wants to play dirty." Caleb said.

"Or has anymore arrows." Paige muttered.

"We will stop this Paige." Spencer said.

The group moved swiftly into town where they knew the boy was staying. Right on the edge stood a yellow house. Making his way towards the back door, Toby banged on it loudly. The door opened and Bobby flew out towards Toby, knocking him down. Spencer and Caleb grabbed both of Bobby's arms and pulled him off of Toby. Bobby was struggling against the two, Paige standing in front of him, when a male voice from the house startled everyone.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you!" When Paige moved her eyes from Bobby she saw a man standing holding a struggling figure in his grasps. "Not unless you want this bitch to die too!"

Paige stopped everything she was doing when she saw that the man in the doorway had a hold of Emily and had a pistol pointed against her head. "Let her go!"

"And ruin my one chance to get rid of you? I don't think so." The man said.

"You're my grandfather, aren't you?" Paige could see it. Her mother shared similar features as the man.

"You look just like that son of a bitch. The one that took my Lisa from me." The man said.

"John! Don't get too sentimental and forget what you came here for, old man." Bobby spit out coldly.

"Oh Bobby." The old man said. "Turn around."

"We can help you. Your just a pawn to him, we can get you out." Spencer said.

"He needs me." Bobby said.

"He is going to kill you. He is going to kill us. He is anti-ware. He killed my parents!" Caleb said.

"Turn around boy!" John yelled.

"I have to do this." Bobby said, turning slowly. When he turned enough to make eye contact with John, the old man turned the gun on him. Before anyone could react the gun was fired and Bobby fell to the ground. Emily let out a loud cry at the gun being fired so close to her head. Bobby layed on the ground, blood pooling around his head.

"Stupid dog!" The old man yelled. Emily was now crying in the mans arms. "What's wrong young lady?"

"Leave her alone!" A voice from the edge of the yard yelled. Lisa stood with a white wolf beside her at the edge of the yard. "Let her go John."

"I am your father! You will address me as such!" John yelled, tightening his hold on Emily, causing he girl to let out a whimper. Paige made eye contact with Emily and tried to convey to the girl how sorry she was.

"Shoot me!" Paige yelled, getting everyone's attention. "You came her for me, then shoot me!"

"Paige no!" Emily yelled, trying to free herself from the old man.

"Shut up!" John yelled as he took ahold of Emily's arm and pulled her tightly against himself. "I didn't come here for you. That was just a bonus. Hell, I didn't even know you exsisted. But I found out where Lisa was living and decided I'd finally take care of your father. But now I will just take care of you both."

"I won't let you do that." Paige said.

"I know ways to take care of you without actually hurting you physically at all." In the background sirens could be heard. "I knew I wasn't going to get out of this alive so I called an ambulance to come here. Told them that I had shot two people. See if they see that Emily has been shot, you can't heal her in front of them. If she is dead, you have to live with that agony for the rest of your life. It's how I felt the day your mother left home with, with that!"

When the sound of the ambulance was in the driveway and cop cars lights could be seen, John pushed Emily onto the porch in front of him and raised his gun. As Paige leaped towards the man he pulled the trigger. The sound of that final gun shot ringing through everyone's ears just as Paige's dad ran towards the house was deafening. Emily layed on the porch, blood covering her chest as police and paramedics came around the corner of the house as Paige's dad, Toby, Spencer and Caleb carried john off in the direction of the woods. Lisa ran to Paige, knowing the girls first instinct would be to heal Emily. Holding back her daughter and trying to answer the police while watching the paramedics work on Emily was hard. An officer took a hysterical Paige from her mother and held her back as they loaded Emily into an ambulance.

"I need to go with her!" Paige yelled at the police officer.

"There isn't enough room in the ambulance. You can meet them at the hospital." Officer Wilson said. "I need to ask a few questions first. Where did the man go that shot her?"

"He ran off into the woods when he heard your cars pull up." Lisa said, tears streaming down her face as she watched Paige suffering.

The ambulance doors closed and sped off in the direction of the hospital. Lisa knew what was happening to her father. Her husband and Paige's friends were going to kill him. It was the only way to stop him. She watched as her daughter fell to the ground and sobbed for her mate. She looked at Bobby's body being covered by a sheet by police. She pulled Paige to her feet and led the girl around front, demanding that one of the officers take them to the hospital, knowing that Paige would never calm down with so much distance between her and Emily. Lisa called Emily's parents on the way to the hospital and when they arrived Wayne and Pam were standing in the lobby.

"Where?" Was all Paige was able to ask Wayne as Lisa held Pam while she cried.

"She is in surgery now, um, the bullet cracked her ribs and the bone fragments did some damage that they are having trouble repairing." Wayne told Paige.

"I can go in there and heal her. I have to!" Paige made a move to find her mate when a strong arm stopped her.

"We can't risk people finding out about what you really are Paige. They would have a field day with you. My Emmy is a fighter. We just have to be patient." Wayne said, pulling Paige into a hug before sitting her down beside Pam and Lisa.

"This wasn't your fault, Paige. I know you are going to blame yourself, but it wasn't your fault." Pam whispered to the girl before putting an arm around her. After what seemed like hours a doctor finally arrived out of the OR doors.

"Emily Fields!" The doctor yelled before making his way towards Wayne. "I have news on your daughter."
