I'm so, so sorry guys for not updating in forever. I have a bad habit of suddenly not updating. Because of this habit, I'm thinking about skipping ahead to the end of this story so that you guys won't be tortured with waiting for new letters and so you know what happens in the end. What do you guys think?
Anyway, thank you everyone for reading and reviewing! Over a hundred and sixty reviews is amazing for such a short little story...but please review some more! I love hearing what you guys think and feel about the chapters. Reviews are fuel for a writer's imagination.
Dear Stranger,
Apparently my mother booked me to see a psychiatrist. I feel like my rights have been violated. Did she even ask me? No, of course she didn't. I don't need a therapist! I'm not crazy. There's nothing wrong with me—aside from the cancerous thing inside my head that's slowly killing me mentally, emotionally, and physically and has caused me to have several emotional outbursts.
…Okay, well maybe my mother has a point.
MAYBE.
I'm still perfectly sane—as sane as a teenage girl can be anyway. Besides, Raye's weird priestess stuff really has helped me. Even Darien was able to tell the difference in my over all attitude.
Speaking of the devil, Darien asked Beryl out on a date. Now to me, Darien seems to be the kind of guy who looks for a woman to have a serious, lasting relationship with. But with the details that Darien told me about Beryl during their date (he took her to some fancy restaurant and a moonlit walk in the park—I'll admit I'm a little jealous)…she seems to be the exact opposite of Darien. It kinda seems like she's in it for the, uh, 'physical' aspect of a relationship and the advantages of having a rich, soon-to-be doctor for a sweetheart. In conclusion: a lowlife gold-digger.
I tried to tell Darien about what I thought about her, but he didn't believe me and eventually stopped listening. He can be so frustrating! Such a typical guy. Just because I'm the one who's locked up in a hospital doesn't make him the smarter one. Then again, he's got a degree in medical sciences stuff...whatever. Point is, that guy will soon be running back to me saying how he should have listened to me. He will worship the ground I walk on, fan me with a giant leaf, and shower me in chocolate.
Good news though! The new Sailor V season just started and I am so so so sooo excited to watch it later on the television. Sailor V is so pretty and amazing, rescuing all those people from the horrible monsters. I wish I could look that good in that outfit. And her hair! I wonder what kind of shampoo she uses to get it to shine and float in the wind like that. She is super cool!
Well, that's enough rambling and idolizing over Sailor V for now. I'll just talk Darien's ear off when he comes back from his break.
Definitely NOT crazy,
Serena
