Dear Stranger,
Today was the first meeting with the therapist my mother is forcing upon me. Her name is Dr. Trista Meioh (ugh, another doctor...). She's...intimidating. My mom told me she had only graduated from university about two years ago and was already a very renowned and highly recommended psychiatrist. Every little motion she makes is done with the most perfect grace you'd expect in a royal person. She's so sophisticated and mature and beautiful. She wears a pretty key necklace that seems to suit her.
My goal for this meeting was to pretend she wasn't there and not answer a thing she asked, but I found my self analyzing her as much as analyzing me. I could tell, despite her constant unemotional face, she was lonely lady. Maybe some guy broke her heart too?
After a while of silent staring, she said to me, "You're afraid."
And I told her, "So are you."
She just...smiled. And I realized in that moment I began to think that, yeah, maybe she can help me. Maybe I can trust her. When she left, I realized another thing...that I need a friend. I can't depend on my mother and Darien.
I'm on a new medicine today too. It's making me really sleepy...I need new pillows. These have gotten too flat. Ice cream sounds good too. I haven't had ice cream in forever, which is a horrible, horrible thing and unless I eat some soon, I might just explode.

I don't know why, but I always use Setsuna for the therapist role- as some of you might know from some of my drabbles in Strange Love. She's just got that serene wisdom you look for in a good therapist.
Trish1573: It took me a minute to get your joke! I can be so slow sometimes...anyway, I wasn't spared from the never-ending snow either. I'm in New Jersey and I am starting to forget what grass looks like... :P
Nich31: thank you! And your opinion was helpful. I'm pretty conflicted as well. On the other hand, this would be a completely different response if you told me you didn't like chocolate. ;)
