Hey guys, I hope you enjoyed the little bit of action I could put into the last chapter. I plan on getting more chapters out before I have to go back to school. During school, I don't know if I'll be able to get anything out because I want to maintain a 4.0 grade average. High school sucks. Haha. Anyway, on with the fanfic.
Cynthia's POV:
What was I gonna do? This Ryhorn was gonna tear me apart. I had no chance in surviving. It looked mein the eye with a menacing hatred in its soul. Before I knew it, I was crying on the ground. The Growlithe was trying to help me, but I refused to move. I just wanted to get away from this and live normally and happily again! The Ryhorn looked at me and ran using a headbutt attack and I thought I was done. But I was never hit. I looked up, and I saw the Ryhorn on the ground, fainted. I looked around, and what I saw, confused me. A mysterious trainer, had used a Scizor to faint it. I didn't see the face of the trainer, but his hair was purple and spiked back. He just ran and I didn't even catch a name. That was strange. I looked over and I saw the Growlithe standing there. It looked at me, and it looked worried. It dug in my bag, and tapped something, and it was gone. I thought for a second, and realized what happened. I walked back into town, and I found Ash again. I hugged him tight. "Woah. What's with the hug, Cynthia? And why weren't you at training?" I just simply replied with " just nevermind. I'm ready for our next gym challenge. Let's do this." I said, while holding my pokeball up. We walked up to the gym, and we saw a boy with spiked up hair. It was purple as well... he looked at us and said, "hey! My name is Bugsy! I've been expecting you for a while! So prepare to face my bugs! I know how you two work, so let's get with the battle!" He smiled at me, and I blushed slightly. "Yeah, let's go!" Ash said, obviously fired up.
We got in the gym, Bugsy looking confident. He sent out a spinarak and a Beedrill. I sent out Chikorita, and Ash was using Pikachu. "Use poison sting!" Bugsy commanded, and both pokemon used poison sting on chikorita. Chikorita seemed to be low from that double attack, but that's what I wanted. "Chikorita! Use sleep powder!" I commanded, as she attacked and Ash commanded pikachu. "Use iron tail! He commanded as he surprised me with this move. Pikachu used the move, and hit the two opposing pokemon while it was at full health. He also moved the sleep powder onto the pokemon, so they fell asleep. Chikorita was poisoned, and I was worried, but I kept her in. But as soon as I saw chikorita was poisoned, the Beedrill woke up, my eyes got wide, but I couldn't do anything. "Beedrill! Venoshock the chikorita!" Chikorita got hit by the venoshock, and fainted, but the spiarak was still sleeping, so Ash fainted it with thunderbolt. I held my only other pokeball I had in my bag. "Go! Gabite! I said, as I threw it, but after I did, I felt stupid. It wasn't Gabite, but Growlithe. I didn't even know what he knew. "Cynthia! When did you get a Growlithe?" Ash asked. "Before we came here..." I was still feeling dumb. "Well, tell it to use fire fang!" Ash said, and I did so, which caused the Beedrill to faint. He sent out his final two pokemon. "Go! Pinsir and Scizor!" He threw them out and said "you're never going to get trough this team!" Ash used quick attack, but got caught in the pinsir's grip. "Pincir! Keep it still! Scizor! Bullet punch!" The pokemon did as commanded, and pikachu was used as a punching bag, and it fainted. Ash sent out his spinarak, and tried to use string shot, which failed again, and spinarak had the same fate as pikachu. I was left alone, with my Growlithe. Had faith we could do this, and Growlithe felt the same. This was gonna go down... Now.
