Hope
Summary: After the final battle, Kagome is thrown further back into time. She is trying everything she can to get back to her friends but when all hope seems lost she restores to killing herself. The only problem is that, she can't die. Now she has to find out what quest she has to complete in order to return to her friends. Will she success or will she fail?
Chapter 52: Disbelief
After getting to her feet, Kagome gives them a few feet of space between them. She is unsure how to act towards her once friend. Kagome has heard awful rumors of him. How he thinks humans are dirt. How he looks down on the poor. She doesn't want to believe any of it. One rumor that caught her attention was that he turn cold after having his heart broken therefore mated an Inuyoukia and become a ruthless ruler of the West.
"Why?" she asks timid. Toga frowns at her uncharacteristic behavior towards him. He steps towards her causing her to step back, the villagers and soldiers are staring at the two in awe and wonder at how their Lord knows such human. "Miko-sama, please accompany to my palace where we can discuss important matters." He states without room to argue as he turns from her trying to hide the angry he felt at her actions.
