Chapter 7

"Hello, my name is professor Charles Xavier and I'm the headmaster of this school," the man in the wheelchair greeted the four girls in a friendly manner.

"A pleasure to meet you, professor," Rose said, smiling at Xavier and the other mutants in the room. "My name is Rose Lalonde and this are Kanaya Maryam, Jane Crocker and Roxy Lalonde, my… sister."

"That isn't quiet truthful, is it Rose?" the professor asked amused.

"No, but we view each other as such," Rose answered, unfazed by the fact that the man in front of her already seemed to know the answers of his own questions.

"No one is gunna lebieve it anwyay if I told them I'm her mom!" Roxy shot in, getting some strange looks for her drunken slur.

"*believe* *anyway*" she corrected herself giggling.

"You drunk?" the man that had found them asked accusingly.

"Nope! Just tispy *tipsy*" was her cheery answer.

Jane chuckled at her friends behavior, but the man didn't seem to be very amused. He glared at the girls for a moment longer, before turning his back on them and retreating to the back of the room where several of the younger members were standing. One of the youngest was a girl with dark hair and a white stripe going through it. When she saw Rose looking at her, she smiled.

"Hi," she said, "I'm Rogue."

"Oh my gush! Me too!" Roxy said happily.

"Well, it's not my name obviously," she continued, rolling her eyes at the confused looks she got from the assembled mutants. "My little *tittle* ish 'Rogue of Void'."

"What the hell does that mean?" the buff wolf-man asked.

Roxy chuckled and held her arms up in front of her, palms facing away. She narrowed her eyes and bit her tongue in a look of pure concentration. For several agonizingly slow seconds nothing happened, until suddenly a pumpkin appeared out of nowhere. The room was stunned into shocked silence while the group of mutant heroes stared from the big orange vegetable to the smug looking blonde.

"Roxy!" Jane said in a scolding tone, "I thought we agreed we weren't going to tell anything until we found the others!"

"But I didn't tell them anything, right? I showed them! that's a big dirrefence *difference* - *hic* lol!"

"There is no reason to be afraid of us," a white haired woman spoke up, "we are all mutants."

"Oh, but we most certainly are no mutants, miss," Kanaya answered quickly. "If we were, it would mean we were born with our current abilities, or at least grown into them."

The mutants were quiet for a moment.

"Then, are you super heroes?" Rogue asked, but the answer was once again negative.

"We will gladly explain everything to you if you would first be so kind to bring us to the Avengers Tower" Rose said smiling at the confused mutants. "I do believe that is where we will find our currently living friends."

That last part even confused the other three girls. They had all turned to Rose in hopes for a less cryptic explanation.

"Uh, what do you mean by that, Rose?" Jane asked the Seer.

Rose frowned.

"I honestly don't really know," she said, "I just have the feeling that the deceased are not quiet done with us yet."

"You mean the dreambubbles have followed us here?" Kanaya asked.

"I truly have no idea. Normally, I can't pick up anything of what goes down in the bubbles, at least not like his." Was Rose's answer. She still sounded as passive as ever, not in the slightest bit worried of what her visions might mean. The others, however, were.

Professor Xavier smiled at the four girls and wheeled towards his desk. He gestured to the others to take a seat as well, since not everyone had already done so and they gladly did so.

"Storm, will you make sure I can get a save line with Director Fury?" he asked the white-haired woman. The woman nodded and left the room, followed by the younger members of their team.

"You're just gonna do what they say?" the wolf-man asked.

"Yes."

The wolf-man sighed unhappy and plopped down an empty seat.

"I do believe he does not trust us very much," Kanaya commented.

"Too bad, he's hot!" Roxy whispered harshly.

"Roxy!" Jane whispered back, horrified.

"Oh c'mon, Janey! Look at his muscres, they're huge!" Roxy defended her former statement. "I bet his name is Grant, or Hugh or something, 'cause that's how awesome his muscles are."

The man in question shuffled in his chair, clearly feeling uneasy about the current conversation. When Rose saw him squirming, she chuckled amused and turned to face him directly.

"You have to forgive my sister, she has a hard time controlling what comes out of her mouth," she told him. "I suppose I can be the same when I have consumed the same amount of alcohol."

"Your parents never told you it's bad to drink?" the man asked.

"Roxy grew up without any parents."

"Xavier!" an unknown voice sounded through the speakers of the hands-off phone on the professors desk.

"Director Fury, I was wondering if you might have found some strange youngsters?" the professor asked, getting straight to business.

"Yes," came the answer after a few seconds of silence. "How do you know about this?"

"Miss Lalonde told me you might have found her friends."

"How many of these aliens are there?" the man on the other side of the line sighed tiredly. Xavier looked questioningly at Rose.

"16. Eight humans, six trolls, one sprite and the mayor," she answered.

The wolf-man looked confused at this and opened his mouth, but the professor stopped him before he could ask a question.

"I'm sure we'll get our answers in due time, Logan," he said.

"We have concealed eight of them, Spiderman is on his way with four more and my guess is that there is four of you with the mutants, right?" Fury continued on Rose's answer.

"You have guessed correctly," she said.

"Good, Xavier?"

"Hmm?"

"Have Wolverine bring them to the Avengers Tower for interrogation." By that, Fury ended the call.

Hey, here is a new chapter, I hope you like it.

Like I said before, you can always give me tips in how to make it better and how to keep the story going. I don't think I will put many ships in here, unless I'm asked specifically to put one in.

Also, all post-scratch trolls will come in here, but I don't know if I should put the pre-scratch trolls in as well, so tell me what you want me to do with that too. Thanks and see you in the next chapter!
