The Finale (almost)

(Suddenly Ginny heard her name being called by Harry Potter the husband of her dreams. The father of her three children, James Sirius, Albus Severus, and Lily Luna Potter.)

"Ginny? Ginny, darling? It's time to come down to lunch. Everyone is here!"

"One second Harry love!"

(She called back, she had been pulled out of her fantastical reminiscing reluctantly. While pulling out a chair when she got down to the lunch table she apologized to the group for her tardiness).

"Sorry, I'm not usually late."

(She noticed that everyone was looking at her strangely, she look down and realized that it was now 12:30 in the afternoon, and that she was still in her dressing gown. She blushed, turned around and ran back to her and Harry's room and collapsed onto the bed and started to cry out of embarrassment. Harry heard her sobs put the tea kettle down to boil, then followed the sounds of his wife's crying and sat next to her, while she cried. Soothingly he asked her what had happened, and she told him between sobs. She skipped her adventure down memory lane as if afraid that he would think she was a baby.)

"Harry, I just came downstairs to lunch with the Min-Minister of Magic, Head of the Auror office and who knows who else in my dressing gown! I was also FIFTEEN minutes late which is very much unlike me! Unless I am getting dressed up which everyone knows and it is completely clear that, that wasn't what was happening this time! (sobs).

"Ginny, Gin. Sweetie what WERE you doing up here?"

(Breathes deeply) "Ok, you see these letters on the floor?"

"(Confused) "Yeah?"

"I saved every single letter that you ever wrote me."

"You did?"

"Don't think me foolish."

"Foolish? How could I? I did the same!" (Goes to his closet and brings out a box of letters in pink ink.) "See?"

"Wow! I didn't know that! Some of them are from my first year at Hogwarts! You kept those as well I see. (She is rummaging through them).

"I sure did! We can look through them in more depth later but right now we have company."

"You're right! I forgot AGAIN! I am going to get dressed quickly!"

"You're a witch use a spell."

"Thanks, Harry you're the best! I love you!"

"I love you too. Now get dressed Ginevra Potter!"

(giggles)"Bye Harry!"

(While Ginny is getting dressed Harry is downstairs making small-talk when Ginny comes downstairs in a formal day-dress. When Harry notices her (after only a couple seconds) he gets interrupted by his wife's entrance mid-sentence.)

"I totally agree Minister. That would- Ginny? Gin, you look...You look angelic and that isn't even the right word!"

(She runs to him gives him a big hug and kisses him with as much emotion as she has. As he pulls away slowly he whispers in her ear.)

"Babe, we have guests."

(She looks around and blushes before sitting down and giving the cue that people could start to eat.)

(All through the meal Harry and Ginny are risking glances at the other as if making sure that this wasn't all in their heads. As if their 17t years of being married wasn't enough to prove it to themselves. But as Dumbledore once said "Of course it is happening inside [their] head[s], but why on earth should that mean that it is not real? ")
