Claire tired really hard not to think about how close Leon was at that moment. She lay on her bed trying hard not to think about what had nearly happened the night of the party. But she couldn't help it, he was here under her roof, only metres away, but he was with her brother! Groaning with frustration she pressed her ear the wall to try and here some of their conversation, but it was no use, she gave up and tried to occupy her mind with other thoughts, but they kept coming back to Leon, what it would be like to kiss him, to feel his lips on hers, what his arms would feel like round her waist. She had to see him, to see how he was while not under the influence of alcohol. She tiptoed out of her room and headed for the bathroom. She planned to wait there, all night if she needed to, 'he has to pee sometime' she thought to herself.

"So dude, you wanna go out and get laid tomorrow?" Leon asked as they watched some old action movie. Chris shook his head with a smile.

"No I'm gonna go see Jess tomorrow and see how she is, I figure she might just be embarrassed that we let it go that far, I want her to know that I don't think any less of her," Chris explained. Leon rolled over to look at his friend.

"You're kidding me right? Fuck that, let her go, she's doing you a favour," he grinned "Two really coz at least now you've got some experience," Chris flipped him off.

"I'm serious, I wanna date her," he looked down. Leon rolled his eyes.

"Whatever man, but hey look if that's what you want then good for you, just don't come crying to me when she rejects you again," he yelped as Chris threw a pillow at him.

"Jerk," the boys laughed as they play wrestled.

"Claire, honey are you ok?" Mrs. Redfield asked as she turned the light on in the bathroom to find Claire asleep against the sink. Claire sat up and rubbed her eyes.

"What? What time is it?" Claire asked.

"Three in the morning, are you sick baby?" Mrs. Redfield helped her daughter up. Claire blushed as she thought of her plan.

"No, sorry mom, I'll go to my own room now, night," she kissed her mother's cheek and went to her room.

"Thought you'd never show," Claire gasped as she heard a deep voice whisper in the darkness.

"Leon?" she whispered back. He flipped her lamp on and she saw him smirk as her eyes adjusted to the light.

"Just wanted to say goodnight," he grinned as he walked over to her. Claire's breathing hitched as he lowered his head and brushed his lips against hers before leaving the room. Claire let out a breath and she got into bed. 'What the hell was that?' she thought as she let her hands drift underneath the covers.
