Prt. 6

The three ragdolls with claws made their way outside to the garden, the place where both 11 and 10 knew their younger brother to be; the pale machine born taller one having to raise up a hand to block out the suns rays from his sensitive red optics. 13 noticed this and stopped in being lead by 11 to turn back and look a bit concerned for the taller ones distress.

"You okay there 10?" she asked out carful, "Is the light bothering your eyes or something?"

He blinked to her well guessed observation and gave a small shrug because he didn't feel like being a wuss about it; the sun was a part of life and he'd lived long enough to know it wasn't going to just vanish on them.

"I'm okay," he replied with a slightly annoyed voice; not at the female but at his limitations in daylight. "My eyes are just different and don't like the light so much; you'd think I was a bloody vampire or something." He grumbled out the last part but was honestly bothered by his pale fabric, red eyes and long claws sometimes because they just seemed far to monstrous compared to his brothers. He had asked Marcus several times why but each time he got the same answer of 'because you're special.' Fat load of good that answer did the older 10 got…one day he planned to figure out the real reason to his appearance.

"Well then there; you should have this if the light hurts your eyes so badly," 13 said as she removed the red scarf off of herself; 10 blinking in surprise to her voice because he had been so lost in thought.

"Hey you don't have to do that," he started to protest when she got the fabric completely off of her shoulders, "I'm honestly fine. Just need a minute to adjust and we can…" he voice trailed off completely as 13 gently tugged him down by the shoulders so she could put the scarf back on its owner with her own hands. He was silence and very nervous to having the small female that barely made it to higher than middle taking such care to place the scarf as it belonged; his hands clasped to his side and twitching in anxiety at fear the damage he could do to her by his blades should he try to stop her.

When done, 13 smiled to her work and threw the long tails of the scarf over 10's shoulder with great satisfaction. She than even poked 10 in the face where his nose would be and brightened to his stunned expression.

"Now your okay," she concluded, staring at him for a moment as she placed her hands behind her back and swayed in place, "Try not to stare right at the light like your doing right now okay? It will probably hurt very badly if just seeing glancing at it hurts; you look like your eyes are busted and can't close…also like they can't go any bigger on your face."

She turned away after this, just missing 10's face lit up in a green blush hue that he quickly hid by pulling his mask up and than flipping his hood over his head to block out the sun's harsh rays. That had been awkward…and now 10's face was burning in embarrassment for more or less being called out on staring at 13 so deeply.

"Smooth one there Romeo," 11 smirked with a nudge to 10's arm, "I bet she doesn't suspect a thing."

"What are you talking about?" 10 grumbled, turning his face so his younger brother couldn't see his face, "I don't like being touched at the best of times, you know this."

"Sure…and the fact that you TOTALLY have it in for the new girl has nothing to do with the fact that your face looks like a glow stick."

"What?!" 10 challenged, whipped his head back to his brother with a scowl, "You think that I-? That there something between…? Nah-uh, whoa buddy! You…you are so waaay off track here it's not even funny."

"Uh-huh," 11 replied smugly, smiling to his brother frustration, "A unspoken attraction between the pale tall male, eldest of the brothers towards sweet little 13, first of her sisters? So beauty…"

"Attraction?! To that tiny little brat?!" 10 asked like the idea disgusted him which have been a complete lie, "No, no and a thousands times no! It case you've forgotten she just got here; romancing her is the last thing we should be doing right now. So just drop it and help me make her feel at home before I kick you through a wall."

11 may a face think he was guessing 10 defensive behavior, which he was, and simple shrugged his shoulders before saying, "touchy…" and headed off to where 13 had gone. 10 was muttering under his breathe and followed along after the smaller male and female; why had he gotten so worked up over something 11 had said? He does it all the time to get a rise out of his older brother but today 10 had actually been offended by it…

Wasn't to much longer before 11 was able to locate their younger brother 12; him being by the daisies Lizzie grew in her gardens and playing with a ladybug he had picked up from one of the floras; let the bug almost as big as their hands scurrying over his and chuckle at the tickling sensation he felt from the action. He noticed his brother and gave them a wave, halting when seeing 13 and blinking in surprise to the petite tiny creature before his silver optics.

"Well…this is surprising," he said calmly and stared at 13 with deep admiration, "I didn't realize that she was done and up today."

"There was a small mishap," 10 replied, watching the introduction with ease; 12 was much calmer and more mild in nature than 11 was so there no fear in his younger brother doing something to offend the new female. If anything, 10 wanted to see just how she was going to react meeting his 'little' brother. But from her wide eyes and slightly agaped mouth, 12 was not what she had been excepting to see.

He was just as tall to 10's height if not a little more solid in his build. His fabric was brown burlap instead of pale white's likes his two brothers and both arms were made of completely different colors of green for one arm and red for the other. There was also extra fabric around his wrists and ankles that was tied off by wire to make sleeve like appearances and 13 noticed that his number was written in deep blue on the right side of his chest. He was much bigger than her but she only stared in curious instead of fear because he was smiling at her so nicely; he was in all manners, a gentle giant that prefers to train and be left alone at times to tend to himself to actually fighting.

"Well hey there little miss," 12 said when 13 came closer to see what he was playing with in his hands, "And here I thought my brother 11 was going to be the smallest in the family. Guess you up staged him a little bit…my, your optics are pretty." 13 perked at this and smiled to his complement about her eyes.

"Thank you," she replied with a smile than pointed at the ladybug in his silver clawed hand in question, "What is that? It's so small, round and red; moving around wildly…is it a play thing?"

12 chuckled to her innocence, it was a sweet quality that sadly must people lose over time or grow out of in maturity. He shook his head to her question and gently reached out to take her hand and transfer the small round bug to her own delicate hands where her eyes brightened in wonder and she smiled in excitement.

"This…is called a ladybug little lady," he told her after cupping her hands to make sure she understood not to drop the small creature, "They live in gardens and eat bad little bugs that try to hurt the helpless and small plants like these daisy's. Their very small creatures and super delicate but they can help flowers bloom and keep plants from danger; small mighty warriors in a way."

13 smiled in understanding and seemed to believe every word that spilled out of 12's mouth; her eyes glued to the bug in her claws as it moved around and tickled her hands lightly. A small being that made such a difference…could she could that one day? She hoped so, she wanted to be just like the ladybug in her hands at that moment; small, delicate and pretty to see but inside was a purpose for being something bigger. She wanted to be able to help things just like this single bug in her dangerous claws

Was it possible?
