(Wataris POV)
I was doing research on the Uchiha clan when I heard a knock at my door. I looked up from my computer and paperwork to see Izumo walk in, looking quite amazed about something.
"How did the performances go?" I asked him.
"They were all well done. Kiro used Earth syle ninjutsu with his spine. Akimi used her chakra to move the water to spell her full name..." He trialed off.
"And Karin?"
"Miss Uchiha is far advanced for her age. Her abilities equal that of a Chunin or Jonin."
"That is understandable. The life she had prior to coming here was strict." I told the ninja, who looked thoughtful.
Well, I knew that the Uchiha clan took much pride in thier ninja skills, but that doesn't seem to be the case with Karin. She acts as if her abilities are normal for a kid her age. She doesn't act like she is better then the others." He replied.
"The Uchiha clan did not ask for perfections, they demanded it. It was this flaw that apparently led to thier downfall." I told him.
"What do you mean Watari?" He asked.
(L's POV)
Akimi, Kiro and I were on our way to Karins room. Akimi told me that thier sensei told them that she fell in the lake again. We were just passing Wataris office when we heard something that made us stop in our tracks.
"The Uchiha clan didn't ask for perfection, they demanded it. It was this flaw that apparently led to thier downfall." I walked over to Kiro.
"What do you mean Watari?" Izumo asked.
"Karin is the last of her clan." He paused a moment. From the look on thier faces, they were just as shocked as I was. We continued to listen.
"What happened? Weren't there like, 50 of them?" And they were all ANBU! Who could do such a thing?" Izumo asked.
"It was Itachi. He killed everyone, In order to get the Mangekyo Sharingan.."
"The Mangekyo Sharingan. Watari what else do you know? Do you know how it happened?" He asked. Watari sighed.
"All I know is that Karin is the only one we know that survived the massacre." Watari finished. We snuck away after that, unable to face what might be said next.
I looked over at Akimi, who was fighting back tears. I couldn't blame her. To think something so horrible could happen to her.
"Who is Itachi?" Kiro asked the sad Hyuga.
"He is Karins older brother." She replied.
"And what is the Mangekyo Sharingan?" I asked.
"The only thing I know is that it is a more powerful version of Sharingan." Akimi replied.
After calming her down we made our way to Karins room. I knocked on the door and heard a quiet 'come in' as a reply. We walked in to see her sitting on her bed staring out of the window.
"Hey Karin." I greeted her with a slight smile. I sat crouched down beside her. She smiled at us in greeting, then looked at each of us questioningly.
"Whats wrong guys?" She asked. Akimi sighed.
"We heard about your clan." Kiro stated.
